View Full Version : What do you think of the new Xbox.com?

10-20-2010, 11:52 AM
I personally love it but not all of the options seem to work right now.. :/

10-20-2010, 11:55 AM
Looks pretty good.....

Crazy BigGaz
10-20-2010, 11:55 AM
I think it looks ok.
But it seems slower than the old design.

Also some of the functions are not working, as you said.

10-20-2010, 12:11 PM
probably too early for this thread as it seems unfinished and is SLOW so just now i hate it

10-20-2010, 12:24 PM
Looks okay, very glitchy tho :(

10-20-2010, 12:33 PM
at the moment i'm really disliking it, it wont let me view my messages only if i have one.
and all i keep getting is ...
Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

It appears you've found a glitch in the system.

Sorry. We were, uh... a little bit distracted playing Halo: Reach (http://marketplace.xbox.com/Product/Halo-Reach/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024d53085b). We will work on fixing this right away.

seriously? MS fuff up once again.

why mess up something that's already perfect..?
how do i read my opened messages and how do i view my friends?
i have a feeling i'm guna have to be loading tinker up through games for windows and using the [home] button alot :( way to go ms :(

Lmao I really hate that Halo Reach quote of theirs..die microsoft! and it gets worse..once you click on the link..RUNTIME ERROR - FAIL!

Its not just you, I cop that stupid message too, when I try and do anything on the site atm. There probs just still fixing it up, give it time.

10-20-2010, 12:41 PM
not too bad ....but they can do better things

10-20-2010, 12:50 PM
From what I've seen, I don't like it.
There are way too many advertisements for other Microsoft products and it seems a bit of a pain to navigate now.
The old site had all the information on the main screen but this one doesn't. You need to go in and out of links to to get simple information.

Looks too kiddie-ish too.

Well if I could get on it and stop gettnig this bloddy meassge

Sorry. We were, uh... a little bit distracted playing Halo: Reach (http://marketplace.xbox.com/Product/Halo-Reach/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024d53085b). We will work on fixing this right awayI'd be able to let you know.

Why launch a new site and it not at least work. A glitch here and there is fine, but for me not to be able to look at anything be it friends, my messages, avatar stuff + played games it stupid!

Overall though, from what I can see just off the main page, the facelift looks much brighter and better! Other than that I'm on the fence atm.

10-20-2010, 01:04 PM
Definitely slow atm, but I'm sure that'll improve, but so far I'm not that impressed, but I'll keep giving it a chance.

I didn't even know it had been changed until I read this thread.

10-20-2010, 01:13 PM
It's really slow just now, but of course, that's probably just because it's just up.
(Or it's the loads of new Silverlight shit slowing it down.)

I really don't like the way it's all looking like it's majorly geared towards families and children.
Every page has some smiley, bastard of an avatar somewhere on it, or some smiling, smug-looking prick pretending to play Kinect.

I'm hating the Reach error message. Stick your sly advertising up your arse, MS.

Also, like somebody else said, I preferred the old version where you had friends, messages and all that on the one page, now it feels like it's fragmented over the site.

On the positive side, the new message system is good.

The avatar marketplace online, I dont care about that tbh, it isn't a big deal to me when I can wander the massive 6' to my TV and do it on there.

10-20-2010, 01:20 PM
Pile of crap xbox.com, can't check out what my friends are up to, amongst other things. This is the worst move since they changed the dashboard. OFFICIAL HATER!

10-20-2010, 01:26 PM
I think we'll have to wait for a few hours... it doesn't really work atm (every time I connect, I can't check my games, who's online, etc... I always have an error message) :(

10-20-2010, 01:42 PM
thats the offline message they are using? that they were playing a bloody game ?

Very unprofessional indeed , i hate it even more now

10-20-2010, 01:48 PM
I wouldn't say I love it more of I like it. I might love it if there weren't error after error why browsing the site.

10-20-2010, 01:55 PM
There's a new xbox.com?

10-20-2010, 02:00 PM
They should have just left it alone. If it's not broken, don't fix it.

10-20-2010, 02:11 PM
cant really decide whether i like it yet, with all the glitches and all

10-20-2010, 02:23 PM
i prefer the old look, some of the new features sound cool, yet to try them out

10-20-2010, 02:28 PM
Also if you get an achievement offline it says you git the cheevo in the 1700s lmao i wasnt even alive then.

10-20-2010, 02:28 PM
looks more accessible to me

10-20-2010, 02:49 PM
I think I'm going to like it, but I haven't been able to get it to load completely

10-20-2010, 02:51 PM
Well, since the site is not loaded for me and I cannot login on my xbox right now I am pretty well hating it.

10-20-2010, 03:13 PM
Hate it. The achievement lists are sorted oldest-first instead of newest-first, and there's no visual distinction between ones you've unlocked and haven't unlocked. Takes away all sense of progress.

10-20-2010, 03:23 PM
Its garbage

10-20-2010, 03:27 PM
the forum has been re-set to the previous version, looks like they tried to do this all on the live forum with no staging section for testing what so ever, pretty bad eh

10-20-2010, 03:30 PM
A moo point since i only care about games.

10-20-2010, 03:30 PM
Can't even send messages to my friends. Great!! :|.
OK I'll give it to them, first day out with the site, see if they can patch it up. Like everything with Microsoft can't get it right the first time so they throw it out there so the people can tell them how bad they fuff up. SO we need to tell the how to fix it and they wash their hands saying that they have release patches for it. LMAO

10-20-2010, 03:31 PM
Looks shit, but I'll get used to it. Some bits are better, some are worse.

10-20-2010, 03:47 PM
LOL it's so white and kinect like.

10-20-2010, 03:55 PM
I've been trying to connect to xbox.com for hours with no success... It doesn't work, epic fail MS

10-20-2010, 04:07 PM
I like it. Some things improved a lot and I definitely dig the new messaging system.

10-20-2010, 04:11 PM
Enough of the "pile of crap", "stupid MS", "loads slow", "errors" comments. Those types of comments don't really add anything to the conversation; it just forces people like me to scroll through it all looking for an intelligent post to reply to or read. Geez... Lighten up though. Why does everyone have to be so cynical and nit pick every little thing? They are still in the process of upgrading everything. Of course it isn't going to be fast, run efficiently, and have all features working just yet. They are still upgrading it! If they wanted to, they could just make it so that no one is able to log in at all until they are done. Not to mention that the "Sorry. We were, uh... a little bit distracted playing Halo: Reach. We will work on fixing this right away." quote is a joke, as in haha funny. Give 'em a break. haha :p

I'm just saying... Give it a few days and then post your comments when they actually get the entire upgrade finished and have gotten a chance to work out any kinks on the site.

So far, I'm really enjoying the site. I think it has a much cleaner interface and will make things that much easier to find for users who had trouble using the old site. This will also help make things consistent between the Xbox 360, the site itself, and Windows Phone 7 devices. Overall, it looks like a promising and much needed upgrade in my opinion.

10-20-2010, 04:29 PM
It's fucking horrible so far, but with ONE exception, which is the Message Center. It's way easier to see and send your messages now, which is a welcome addition in my eyes. But everything else is worse at the moment, especially when comparing achievements with your friends and other people. Hopefully this'll get fixed in the next couple days, otherwise I won't be able to correctly compare achievements with others (especially the unlocked on 1753 date for achievements unlocked offline).

10-20-2010, 06:59 PM
I'm getting a mixed sense, seems like its improved in many ways yet is full of many glitches and faults right now..which is normal seeing as its just got up and running..a few days and all the faults should be fixed..

10-20-2010, 07:32 PM
It looks all nice and everything.

Too bad it functions like crap.

10-20-2010, 08:17 PM
It's horrible and I hate it. It's slow, looks ugly, and is not user friendly at all.
I get that they are still probably updating stuff, but they should have left the old site online until all the new stuff was up and running, then switch it over. They are just pissing people off by doing it this way.

Ice Car
10-20-2010, 08:21 PM
Just glanced at it. Looks pretty good. I have yet to check it out more.

10-20-2010, 08:27 PM
The cons out weigh the pros for me: I think the messaging system is a lot better but other then that I do not like it: lags a lot, can't compare games with friends the same, & I don't like the weird date it gives for offline cheeves. I think MS fixed something that wasn't really broken to begin with

Hopefully with the finalized update, whenever that is, things will be better.

10-20-2010, 08:28 PM
I hate how they've changed your played games from those little game icons to pictures if the boxes ... and a totally unnecessary load of text about the game I already own ...

xI DaR3DeViL Ix
10-20-2010, 08:29 PM
I instantly love it, very suprised.

Click My Xbox, friends and then thats where I usually go when using Xbox.com and it's so easy to navigate now.

Comparing games is awesome and does it for games that you and the compared played have both played now rather then a long searching list you have to search through.

Alot more images etc and games with images also.

Great improvement for me for what I use it for anyway. Understand it may annoy those that use the forums etc.

10-20-2010, 08:35 PM
Its bad with glitches....

10-20-2010, 08:37 PM
I went with 'last one was better' but in all reality it may be one of those things where I'll end up loving it after the initial adjustment period. I'm old and old people hate change. And kids on their lawn. And when the pharmacy runs out of Viagra.

10-20-2010, 08:55 PM
I just checked it out and I love it except for one thing: the background color. It's much harder for me to read dark (text) on white (background) than it is to read white on dark, which means it's much harder (on the friends list page especially) for me to home in on the information I'm looking for, ie what game they're currently playing.

Overall an excellent change - those of who you posted about 8 hours ago should check it out again because I'm not any experiencing any issues whatsoever, which makes sense because these things are always a little buggy when they initially launch.

10-20-2010, 09:03 PM
I liked the previous one better. I had gotten used to the layout so now I find myself searching for the features that used to be right up front. I find it very irritating, but I'm sure I'll eventually acclimate.

10-20-2010, 09:05 PM
There's a new xbox.com?

Haha, this.

But now i've checked it out, it looks good. I'll report back in a few days when it's fixed though.

10-20-2010, 09:11 PM
Does anyone know where the Recently Played Gamers button has gone to?
The one where you've found out who you just played against that isn't your friend?

the Damage617
10-20-2010, 09:19 PM
It's okay...

But people stop complaining that its slow and glitchy.. What do you expect? it just got updated of course its gonna be glitchy and have bugs.

crazy W01f 816
10-20-2010, 09:19 PM
It's okay, but until they fix all the errors it's hard to get the full experience for it.

10-20-2010, 09:49 PM
if you have played a lot of games offline it re-arranges all your games in a weird order. also the 1753 dates are rediculous, also hate how achievements go from your first unlocked instead of the most recent. Also has mixed up all the offline achievements to be out of order..
all in all i hate the entire site bring back the old one!

Bleeding Star
10-20-2010, 10:15 PM
The whole "were too busy playing Reach to fix it" is utter bullshit and looks very unprofessional (I'm aware its just to advertise Reach)

Hate the new look, old one was far better

10-20-2010, 10:18 PM
not a fan of how they rearranged unlocked achievements to go from first unlocked to latest unlocked.

10-20-2010, 10:23 PM
They should have just left it alone. If it's not broken, don't fix it.

This, mostly. I don't really hate the new look, so to speak (Though there are way too many ads now, I never noticed them so much before). A bit brighter than I had gotten used to on that website. lol

I suppose once it stops crashing, they have a difference between unlocked and locked achievements, fix the minor bug with offline achievements and the other errors that I haven't quite gotten to yet... It'll be fine. Most of the problems I've noticed are minor, but yeah. It adds up.

I'm going to desperately hope all these problems are just because it's still new. :/

10-21-2010, 12:06 AM
I personally love it but not all of the options seem to work right now.. :/

Your poll is missing the "other" category as in "Don't care".

10-21-2010, 12:33 AM
I think it blows that there are no more time stamps on the achievements and that greasemonkey is now useless

10-21-2010, 12:41 AM
I think it looks slick, I haven't used it much (took a nap and it was changed)
but I think they were in need of a change, I like the new colors and how clean it looks. I never got a chance to use the pre-historic blade dashboard and when they updated to NXE, I was pumped and with this update they are going all out with changing the way we all know MS with the green and white motif, and now adding purple just seems like a right move.

Enough rambling, I'm all for the new Xbox.c*m!

10-21-2010, 01:01 AM
looks awesome haha :)

10-21-2010, 01:03 AM
I rarely like when a site makes a major overhaul in its layout. I understand they added more features that you can access through their website but the overall presentation I do not appreciate. The bugs will be fixed with time which is not something I am concerned about. The old layout was perfectly fine and I think they tweaked it way too much. As with most sites, I am sure I will grow to like it and become used to it.

Burning Karma
10-21-2010, 02:10 AM
I don't mind it. I've not investigated it fully, but I'm not overally wowed by it. But I don't hate it either.

10-21-2010, 02:18 AM
I like it, but it appears they are still working out the bugs.

10-21-2010, 10:35 AM
Ugghhh, seriously?

I just noticed a nice little thing they've added to your download history.
It's in reverse f-ing order.

Is there any reason for that, other than to irritate you?
Sure, it's a small inconvenience, but it's just irritating to have to skip 2 pages at a time on a slow site.

I don't want to cycle through 16 pages of shit just to get to my most recent purchases.
Perfect example of them taking one of the thigns that worked perfectly fine and changing it for the worse.

10-21-2010, 10:43 AM
What have they done!!

Used to enjoy having a nosey at people games but doesn't seem possible unless they are on your friends list. I also hate the layout of the games you've played - I liked seeing them all grouped together before and I could see the achievements I have and don't have with ease. Now there is big descriptions of the games with massive gaps between each of them.

I preferred the old one by a mile.

Also an achievement that says on the dashboard I unlocked on the 20th - xbox.com says I unlocked it on the 19th?

10-21-2010, 10:47 AM
I liked the old one better for now. I like how the new profile page looks. The thing I hate is that its all so buggy and slow. Takes me a few minutes just to sign in because I have to wait for the main page to load, and then when I click sign in it takes another few minutes. I hope it gets fixed soon.

10-21-2010, 10:49 AM
Its ok... I think none of us are use to it yet so it feels shit right now, and there are still a few problems but Im sure their working on it lol. It is like when the new facebook came out, everyone was like OMFG but then after a while it became alright... I really like the sending message function where it doesn't refresh the page every time I add multiple people to the message, it just adds them :D

Damian 83
10-21-2010, 12:30 PM
achievements section is a shit! there s no total achievement earned/total achievement to earn. that was useful for know when a new dlc is released. eg. i played 100games and completed all of them. the value was 100000/100000. if tomorrow a new dlc is released it says 100000/100250 so i know immediately of it. now i have to go to MGC... also specific game achievements are confusing. they are in alfabethical order and not in "logic" order. there's no GS value for locked achievements, and both locked/unlocked are of the same colour... i want old xbox.com back!

Pine Reaper
10-21-2010, 12:54 PM
I think it looks and feels terrible. They've removed the counter for how many friends you have online, and replaced it with how many requests you have :S This makes no sense to me.

The overall look of the page looks clunky. The giant pictures everywhere makes it look like they didn't have enough to fill out the page, so they oversized the images to fill in the gaps. The first thing I thought was when you were at school, and an essay you wrote didn't look long enough, so you upped the text size.

I want the old xbox.com back please

10-21-2010, 01:02 PM
i said i love it, as i do, but i also hate it too as i really hate over engineered websites that take so long to load and get all the flash running properly.

there is such delay if you dont wait a minute before trying to navigate to another page button

10-21-2010, 01:40 PM
Your poll is missing the "other" category as in "Don't care".

Extremely sorry man! :P

10-21-2010, 02:20 PM
I love its design but where are the web based games they promised?

MC B0B x360a
10-21-2010, 02:28 PM
It sucks cause i am trying to get a repair order on my brand new slim. At the least page of the repair order the site crashes. Its been doing this for the past 3 days. If the xbox wasnt still playable i would do it over the phone but i hate talking to those morons.

10-21-2010, 02:35 PM
Personally I think it looks a bloody mess. I much prefered the previous style, the one they've got now just feels awkward. I'm really not keen on it.

10-21-2010, 02:36 PM
Prefer the old one better, it was basic enough and didn't take ages to load up, but as stated earlier, it needs time.

10-21-2010, 03:06 PM
I'm beginning to wonder if the Xbox.com that I am viewing and the one that others are viewing are even the same website? I've not had near as many of the strange issues that others have had with viewing the site or anything. There is room for improvement though.

I'm sure the achievements that I earned before I was born "1753" will be corrected in the future as that just looks weird. Like some have said, it would have been nice if they just left it up to the user how they wanted to sort their list, whether it be achievements, recent downloads or whatever else have you. I prefer that the most recent achievements be at the top where I can easily view what I unlocked most recently without having to scroll through the entire list to view it. The same goes for recent downloads. I generally don't care about re-downloading something that I played 5 years ago... I'd just like to see what I downloaded recently first.

These are all small things though that I'm sure with some feedback, Microsoft will look at fixing them in the near future to improve the site that much more.

10-21-2010, 03:08 PM
The new one seems horribly confussing.

10-21-2010, 03:10 PM
Very streamlined. The previous versions of xbox.com always seemed bulky and slow. I think I'm in love with this one.

10-21-2010, 04:25 PM
Really nice. It looks really fresh.

10-21-2010, 05:34 PM
The Gamercard's underneath our avatars no longer work either which is really annoying.
I hate this new site, everything's such a chore to go through. Especially viewing friends!

10-21-2010, 06:47 PM
I still can't get Xbox.com to load up, anyone else having the same trouble?

Pine Reaper
10-21-2010, 07:21 PM
No, it loads fine for me. Unfortunatly. But I can't send messages through it. Just comes up with an error and says to try again later

10-21-2010, 07:46 PM
It's a complete mess.
I hate the fact there's ads slapped in between every other thing, making it more difficult to read.

10-22-2010, 01:38 AM
absolutely hate it, hated the new look covers on the cases. The old site was far better

10-22-2010, 07:26 PM
Wow, that must be a first.
MS seem to have paid attention to the Xbox community.

The stupid 1753 date has been removed, it now just says "Aquired".

Pity they never listened to more like arranging the achievements in the order that they previously were.

10-22-2010, 07:49 PM
Pshh Xbox.com? I'm ready for the dashboard update...

R Rated Love
10-22-2010, 11:03 PM
I dislike it. I hate the side-scroller on My Xbox. Way too many ads.

10-22-2010, 11:33 PM
I don't like it. I like simplicity, and now its just too flashy and has too much going on.

Fire Hawk D
10-23-2010, 12:29 AM
I love its design but where are the web based games they promised?

This is my only complaint. Otherwise, I love the new site. Looks so much more modern and clean. Also, now the achievements aren't in some weird order. They're sorted alphabetically. I give it an "A".

10-23-2010, 12:34 AM
Its a bit messy, but i really don't care.

10-23-2010, 01:29 PM
WOW its a draw between haters and lovers on the poll! lol anyway I love it how I don't have to go through 10 actions just to view/send a message - its all on one screen its great! Though MS still need to sort other dating issues with our achievements!

Dalek Effect
10-23-2010, 01:35 PM
I love it, much easier to use IMO.

10-23-2010, 03:58 PM
i prefer the old site where all info was there just click on what bit of the site u wanted now its got big boxes instead of having icons to click we got big boxes with pics of fun and cheer that might appeal to 5 yr olds!
to b honest have'nt really explored the site yet i was put off in first 1min of using it for me i the site workeds just the same as befor
just looks childish and bland as i said befor great for a 5yrs old not gamers next they will be renaming gamerscore for something like funpoints and achievements changed to gamertasks (hope not LOL)
:uzi:if it anit broke dont fix it!!!:uzi:

10-23-2010, 09:17 PM
I like the new site. A clear structure, great new features and nice pictures. What else do you want :)

10-23-2010, 09:47 PM
it takes a looooooong time to load lol

10-23-2010, 10:04 PM
I find the site easier to navigate, but prefer the design of the old one.

I think the designers have inadvertently designed the perfect website for the Wii.

10-24-2010, 06:51 AM
I absolutely hate it and it kills alot of the whole Xbox experience for me. It sickens me see people say they like it.

10-24-2010, 07:08 AM
It's okay. I found it a bit hard to navigate and your avatar looks different compared to on the system. But other aspects are better.

probably too early for this thread as it seems unfinished and is SLOW so just now i hate it

What he said.

I tried to find my friends list for 10 minutes because it took me to a freaking friend center or something where I only could search people with gamertags  very confused user interface at the moment. Hopefully they'll do something about it...

10-24-2010, 05:14 PM
I really like the update but still they should do something about the slowlyness of the site it can be quicker if you ask me.

You need an option of apathy. I don't mind it, and it looks OK, but I'm not really seeing an advantage...but maybe I just haven't explored it enough yet.

I absolutely hate it and it kills alot of the whole Xbox experience for me. It sickens me see people say they like it.

I agree, browsing other peoples games is stupid now, much better when it showed there last games played order ... I mean I know my own, ridiculous.
Also any achievements you got offline are shown at the bottom of the list, all out of order from the ones with dates, stupid.

And again I can't get used to the pictures of the game boxes, I loved those little icons.

The design looks fresher than the old site which is a definite improvement.

I haven't noticed any issues with speed but I haven't been playing around with every aspect yet.

10-25-2010, 12:01 AM
It looks nice but it took a while to find where everything was lol

10-25-2010, 12:09 AM
Seems ok, I've been having way to many problems with the glitches and all.
I really like the new look it has but it just seems slow and glitchy so with that said if they could fix it I think it would be better than the old one.

10-25-2010, 12:46 AM
is there any way to see more than the most recent 3 games your friends have played? if you click on view games it shows your order completed and you cant tell what your friends have been up to of late. how rediculous

10-25-2010, 12:47 AM
I like the design the old one was nice but this one is too

10-27-2010, 11:00 AM
I like it, takes a little bit of getting used to and I like the fact you can edit you avatar on the site rather then always on the xbox although that has issues.

I don't like the fact that now you don't come up in friends list when you look at your friends friends. I used sadly look on that to see what it says game I was playing lol.

I do like it and the new messaging system works better for me too.

10-27-2010, 12:20 PM
Feels really fresh, just love it. I find it easier to use too.

too slow, almost got my browser crashing, lol, but it's good, u can design ur avatar via xbox.com, very cool

10-27-2010, 02:36 PM
Both are poor, this one is lightly more intuitive and loads a lot quicker. Message centre is better and the display is a lot cleaner.

10-27-2010, 09:28 PM
looks more modern :D

10-27-2010, 10:06 PM
I've never seen such tight poll results!

- Half the time my friends page doesn't seem to load for ages even if I refresh the page!
- I get a message error most of the time when trying to send a message to a friend!
- Game order is completly random - why?!?!

I'm having second thoughts on this new site :/

10-27-2010, 11:19 PM
I can send messages to multiple gamers quicker than I was able to on the old Xbox.com

It does look better IMO.

10-28-2010, 04:17 AM
Meh. It's alright. It won't change the shirt on my avatar though. That pisses me off a little.

10-28-2010, 06:48 AM
Pisses me off how it takes like 5 minutes, sometimes longer to load my friends list.

10-28-2010, 08:26 AM

This is probably the best thing that came out of it for me.

10-28-2010, 09:34 AM
Liked the old one better.

10-28-2010, 12:12 PM
Someone else said it already, but to me it just seems odd. It doesn't seem nearly as streamlined as it was. I also don't like how they got rid of the dashboard type elements, where at a glance you could see who was on in one screen. Now you have to scroll down and click links, etc. Not a fan.

10-28-2010, 03:49 PM
It can sometimes be slow in loading, but so was the old site. I like how things are organized now.

I would say it looks better but the options are slow

i got squeezed
10-28-2010, 06:00 PM
Its slower, but its just not for me, I hate how you cant view people games when they last played, instead it shows the whole game list, and if you click on the compare, it shows your achieves with theirs/or if they havent played the game its just blank. Also, when you view somebody's friends list it dont show whos online instead there all out of order and you have to scroll down to see whos online by the little lame ass status.

I'm sorry if you think I'm wrong, but flame me,trash I don't care, Xbox is messing up the victory for the Dash as well. I hate the new Kinect Dash just for that weak ass stuff.

I do like how it's more organized and the avatar on Xbox.com is pretty neat

10-30-2010, 03:22 PM
LOL I just noticed theres an avatar editor online! Thats awesome I'm palying around with it now. Pretty quick and simple aswell.

10-30-2010, 03:39 PM
A moo point since i only care about games.

hahaha what?

Anyway, I'll get used to the new xbox.com eventually.

10-30-2010, 03:42 PM
Looks pretty good to me.

10-30-2010, 04:00 PM
Sorry if this has been asked/answered already but I couldn't find it and for some reason when I try to search I get an error message. How the hell do you search for someone by gamertag? I think its funny to look at the profiles of the people who claim to have 750k + but the only thing I can find just sends them a friend request.:confused:

11-02-2010, 02:14 AM
I think Microsoft have definitely tried to keep some connection between the new Xbox.com and Dashboard update, overall they've done a good job with both, but still there are flaws to be fixed.

11-02-2010, 03:55 AM
While I can't say I enjoy it being so bright, I can say that it definently makes it look more easy to navigate. Cleaner. Just I wish they'd lay off with all the pure white shit.

11-02-2010, 04:03 AM
I like it a lot. Shows more stuff in one screen.

11-19-2010, 05:44 AM
I think that it's ok, it looks really nice and stuff. It reminds me of Mirror's edge and how everything is white. (No racism intended) It looks really cool, but some options for me don't like to work or take forever to load... I don't really like that ... I hate loading times. >_<

11-19-2010, 05:51 AM
Just to put in my couple of pennies worth; Although the look is cleaner, the new dashboard was obviously, (to me), a prep for the Kinect. I don't have it, nor do I plan on getting it but I feel that MS$ is / are prepping for a massive Kinect world to evolve real soon.
