Introduction:
Welcome back to Albion!

Fable III takes place 50-60 years after the events of Fable II. You will be called upon to rally and fight alongside your people, ascend to the seat of power, and experience the true meaning of love and loss while defending your throne. In your quest to seize power and defend your kingdom, the choices you make will change the world around you, for the greater good or your own personal gain.

Who will you become? A rebel without a cause, the tyrant you rebelled against, or the greatest ruler to ever live?

Breakdown:
During this Breakdown, I'll be laying out what's best to do when and how to get the most out of the game but at the same time not missing anything Achievement wise.

I've split this into 4 sections:

Story – Where you'll get the main story achievements plus the missable achievements you need to look out for.
Online – Where you have a few easy achievements to pick up and then you'll have the Legendary Weapons to deal with.
Misc – This will be mainly for any simple achievements that you may of missed along your journey or left until the end.
Clean up/Collectables/Kills – As the title says! This will show you all the collectable achievements you need to get and the remaining kills you'll need to rack up.

So lets begin!

Story:
I suggest you just play through the story and not worry to much about some of the achievements, as you can come back at get these at any time. You'll get along the way many optional quests so I recommend you do them as and when you can.

Fable III is a big RPG game and is full of stuff to do and should be enjoyed! As it is an RPG the game is pretty much open to you once you've located new places and your story progresses, so don’t worry if you've missed an achievement as you can simple go back and get it during your game!

During the story you'll unlock a total of 7 achievements worth 205:gsicon: and these are all storyline based missions that you can't miss or will do as you play. These achievements are:

The Guild Seal
And So It Begins
Swift Justice
The Resistance
Distance Friends
The Ruler Of Albion
For Albion
Hand in Hand

You may also come across others on your journey (optional quests) that aren't so story based, so this may go up a bit. If you don't come across some of the others, don't worry as you can pick them up at any time during the game or after the story is completed! See Misc for more details.

A main missable achievements that you'll need to watch out for are:

Coronation Chicken
You Can't Bring Me Down
Tough Love

"Coronation Chicken" requires you to preform a Royal Judgement while dressed in a Chicken Suit. "You Can't Bring Me Down" requires you to play through the whole story arch and not get knocked out once. "Tough Love" requires you to save the maximum amount of Albion Citizens by the end of the Rulings section of the story. All can be missed but again if you do a 2nd playthrough make sure you keep these in mind if you're going for the 1k.

Please see guide for more details on how to get these in one playthrough.

Road to Rule - This is the "leveling" system for the game! As you play through the story and complete quests you'll be given Guild Seals. With these you can unlock Chests on the Road to Rule, each one with there own value.

Each Chest holds something different and possibly important to your journey. Along the Road you can unlock simple things like Cloth Dyes, Weapons to "Packs" that let you get married or buy houses to new Magic Spells!

For the "Chest Grandmaster" achievement, it requires your to unlock all Chests along the Road to Rule. Please see guide for more detail.

Online:
First things first are the easy Online achievements to pick up:

Long Distance Relationship
Cross-Dimension Conception
Online Merger
We Can Be Heroes

Each one is pretty simple but you do require certain in game things to actually unlock them except for Online Merger & We Can Be Heroes. See guide for more details.

If you are looking for people to get these achievements please use the Achievement Trading Thread (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=176177)

Now we move onto the Legendary Weapons achievement:

We Need Guns, Lots Of Guns

This achievement will take up most of your time. Its one hell of a collectables achievement and there's a few twist and turns to it. Please refer to the Guide for more details before you start trading!

If you're looking for people to trade online achievements or weapons with please use the Legendary Weapons Trading Thread (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=260032).

Misc:
This is where you'll be finishing up all those optional quests you didn't complete and anything misc achievement wise.

You may of got some of these optional quests during the Story depending on how you play, but here is a list of all the none based story achievements that you can get during the game. Some you cant get until the 2nd half of the game. See guide for more details:

Save The Princess
Ghost Brothers
Tragical-Comical-Historical
Island Paradise
Knight Jumps Chesty
He's a Women. She's a Man – Optional only for male characters

And here are the misc ones that again you'll get as you play, can get at any point, you cant get until the 2nd half of the game or until you've unlocked a certain Chest from the Road to Rule etc. See guide for more details:

Spellweaver
Archmage
Total Warrior
Pull
Gunning For Glory
If It Bleeds, We Can Kill It
Wizard's Revenge
Super Hero
My Weapons Better Than Yours
Digger
Dye Hippie, Dye
Barrel of Laughs
Kaboom!
Lute Hero Tour
Touched By A Hero
Popularity Contest
Remodelling
Magnate Personality
Crime Spree
Henry VIII
Chest Grandmaster
Adopt Or Die

Again, for more details please see each achievement in the guide, which will tell you what you need to do or have to get some of these to unlock!

Clean up/Collectables/Kills:
First as mentioned above in the Online section is the Legendary Weapons. But these aren't the only collectables in the game, so below are the others that I recommend you leave until you're pretty certain you're ready to look for them all or mop up the remaining lot:

I Am The Keymaster
Flower Power
Gnome Invasion
Brightwall Book Club
We Need Guns, Lots of Guns
Fashion Victim

So.. Where do you start. Well to be honest it doesn't really matter at all! You most likely came across some of these collectables in your story so you've already got a little head start and idea of what you're looking for.

See guide for more details & Collectables Guide links.

Now we move onto the 500 kills with each weapon and your magic. Here are the achievements that you'll be looking to get:

Gunning For Glory
If It Bleeds, We Can Kill It
Wizard's Revenge

Each one of these achievements will require you to kill 500 enemies each with each type weapon and your magic. You should get them as you play through the game!

See guide for more details.

Conclusion:
I hope this Roadmap has helped you in understanding what Fable III consists of and the best way to go about getting your 1000:gsicon:. If you have any new methods or info to help with the guide please post in the thread and me or SideDish will look into it.

Perform a royal judgement while dressed as a chicken

*Missible achievement & it can only be obtained from the 2nd half of the game onwards*

To unlock the Chicken suit you'll have to complete the following:

Quest: Chicken Chaser
Worth: 10 Guild Seals
Location: Brightwall
How to Complete: Locate the farmer and he'll give you the suit. Round up all nine chickens to complete the quest and the suit will be all yours.

When you become ruler of Albion you have around 10 Judgements. The rulings section is quite large, so it may take you a few hours to complete. Best way to do this is as soon as you're told to go to the Throne Room to decide on your brother fate, go to the Sanctuary and put on the Chicken suit. Go to the ruling and once its finished it'll unlock!

This is missable as if you do all these Judgements without wearing the suit, thats it! You'll have to play a 2nd playthrough as these Judgements wont come back.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UPwohbM=.jpgSpellweaver 5:gsicon:

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UPjzbxY=.jpgTotal Warrior 10:gsicon:
Kill enemies with melee, ranged and spell attacks

Pretty simple stuff and you'll unlock this fairly early. Just kill any enemy with Melee, Ranged and Magic attacks!

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UPxO94s=.jpgPull! 10:gsicon:
Send an enemy flying into the air and kill him while he's airborne

This may come naturally as you play but if you're having trouble cast the Vortex surround spell and use your gun to kill and enemy while they're spinning in the air.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UPpLn2w=.jpgGunning For Glory 20:gsicon:
Kill 500 enemies using firearms

Refer to Wizard's Revenge.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UPrSZqM=.jpgIf It Bleeds, We Can Kill It 20:gsicon:
Kill 500 enemies using melee weapons

Refer to Wizard's Revenge.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UPyxfHw=.jpgWizard's Revenge 20:gsicon:
Kill 500 enemies using magic

You should get all three of these on your story but this is if you fully play the game before you do the final quest! The thing to do is stay with one type of attack until you get the achievement then move onto the next.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UP-pdJU=.jpgSuper Hero 50:gsicon:
Fully upgrade your Melee, Ranged, and Magic abilities on the Road to Rule

You'll need to unlock the "Level 5" Melee, Ranged and Magic Chests on the Road to Rule.

Please note that this cannot be unlocked until near the end of the story. Please see the Road to Rule Guide (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showpost.php?p=3662377&postcount=9) for more info.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UP1ivfM=.jpgYou Can't Bring Me Down 50:gsicon:
Complete Fable III without being knocked out in combat

*Missable achievement*

As the description suggests, don't get knocked out in combat. Here are a few tips:

Buy all the healing & slow time potions you can
Kill enemies with Ranged + Magic attacks over Melee
Use good weaving spells to kill faster like Fire+Shock and not stuff like Force Push or Vortex unless you need to clear the area.

There's always a trick up the sleeve though. If by any chance you do fall in battle, I suggest you quickly dashboard it! When you reload your game you'll be at your last main checkpoint and the death wouldn't of counted! I can confirm this works as I had to do it and my death count was still at 0.

The achievement will unlock after the credits have finished if you didn't get knocked out during the whole story.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UPlmjdc=.jpgMy Weapon's Better Than Yours 25:gsicon:
Complete 3 unique upgrades on one of the legendary weapons found around Albion

Each Legendary Weapon has 3 challenges for you to unlock in order to increase the weapons abilities. Simply view the weapons info in the Sanctuary to see what they are. Some are easier than others & it's up to you which one you will choose to upgrade.

For all the upgrades please use the Lengendary Weapons - Upgrades Requirements (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=271768) Thread.

Dig up 50 items

This should come naturally as you play through the game. As you go from area to area your dog will sniff out little dirt piles that you can dig up. Simply follow your little friend to the spot and dig the spot he finds for you.

Dig 50 spots and the achievement is yours!

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UP039tc=.jpgWe Need Guns, Lots Of Guns 20:gsicon:
Collect all 50 legendary weapons. They won’t all appear in your world, so trade with other Heroes!

With this achievement you'll be in it for the long haul and I feel is the make or break of the 1k! It's also a bit sad you only get 20:gsicon: for this!

The Legendary Weapons in Fable III are like the normal weapons that you find throughout Fable II. So you get 50 different variants of the 4 main types of weapons but none are the same as your original Hero Weapons!

So here comes the long haul bit about this achievement;

You can't get them all by yourself! On a given Gamertag, only 26 of the Legendary Weapons are obtainable solo: 12 from shops, 12 from treasure chests and 2 from quest rewards.

The weapons you can receive per playthrough are also, more or less, random. The contents of stores, rewards for some quests, and contents of some treasure chests are simply 'random Legendary Weapon', so the weapons won't all show up on a given playthrough.

Also, to make the achievement unlock you'll need all 50 unique Legendary Weapons in your inventory! So for example if you had Legendary Weapon #1, traded it away and then at one point got #2-49 the achievement will not unlock! You'll need to go back over LIVE and trade it back so that the game recognises you have the full set of 50!

For a list of all 50 Weapons pease see the Legendary Weapons List (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showpost.php?p=3662373&postcount=7) or to help you on your collection use the Legendary Weapons Trading Thread (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=260032) to find people with the Legendary Weapon you need.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UP5v-j4=.jpgFashion Victim 20:gsicon:
Collect every item of clothing

Most of the clothing items can be found on a natural playthrough. It may take one male and one female playthrough to get all the clothing though, unless you trade. There is one item of clothing - the Chef's Hat - which is difficult to come by, there is no right or wrong way for this item to appear.

As with the Lengendary Weapons achievement, you will need to have all the clothing in your possession at once for this to unlock.

For a complete list of all pieces of Clothing please see the Clothing List (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showpost.php?p=3662375&postcount=8) or If you cant find a certain piece of Clothing please use the Achievement Trading Thread (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=176177) to find peolpe that may have it.

To unlock this, the instigator of sex requires both the “Family Pack” & "Landlord Pack" from the Road to Rule.

You need to have sex in the Marital Home with the other player to have a child. Players have to be of the opposite sex to have a child together.

Kill 30 enemies with explosive barrels

Throughout your journey and your quests you'll come across these explosive barrels. If you're in the thick of the battle these are very useful because of the area spread of the explosion. Simply try and line up the enemy/ies with any barrels you see and launch a bullet or ranged magic attack at it to make them explode and hopefully kill said enemy/ie.

With a bit of luck, by the end of the “Cable Car and Hobbes” main story quest you might unlock this.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UP29Z3I=.jpgWe Can Be Heroes 10:gsicon:
Earn 1,000 gold in henchman wages in another Hero's world

Simply join another players world as a Client and you'll earn roughly 5 gold every 5mins. This does not have to be done all on one session.

To earn gold faster, take up a job, find chests, complete quests & buy houses etc.. All will count towards it!

Please use the Achievement Trading Thread (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=176177) to find someones world to join.

Score 2,000 on the Mourningwood Fort mortar game

First off you must score over 2,000 pts on the game for it to unlock!

You are required to purchase Mourningwood Fort to unlock the Mortar Range mini game, this requires the “Entrepreneur Pack” from the Road to Rule if you are going to play this solo but the best way to get this achievement is through coop!

One of you does have to have the "Entreperneur Pack" so let that person be the host. Then head to Mourningwood and start to play the mini game. Now all you have to do is get a combined score, instead of solo, of 2,000 points. Much easier than doing it solo!

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UP1RhO8=.jpgLute Hero Tour 10:gsicon:
Play in each town as a 5 star lute player

You'll need to unlock “Level 5 Lute Hero” on the Road to Rule and perform in Brightwall, Bowerstone Market, Dweller Camp and City of Aurora.

For this to count you need to successfully complete a round. Getting a note wrong while you play will not count as playing in the city. So quitting out of your game or turning off your xbox will make the counter reset, making you play in all cities again!

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UP9DtEY=.jpgTouched By A Hero 10:gsicon:
Use touch expressions to interact with 20 different people

This can be unlocked early on, simply interact and shake hands (or another expression) with 20 different NPCs.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UPn-dBg=.jpgPopularity Contest 15:gsicon:
Make 20 Friends

This is not an online achievement, so don't let the achievement tile fool you.

This requires the “Friend Pack” from the Road to Rule. Then interact with an NPC until they ask you to do something for them. After completing their task and returning to the NPC they will become your friend. Brightwall is a good place to do this as 98% of the time you'll be asked to go to the Dwellers Camp to dig something up or hand something to somenoe, so its all fast travel!

Relationship quests where you take someone on a date etc do not count towards this achievement. It has to be a quest!

Complete this 20 times and it'll unlock, but this may take a bit of time.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UPvefa0=.jpgRemodelling 10:gsicon:
Remodel 5 different houses by changing the furniture

Redecorating any house you own requires the “Landlord Pack” to be unlocked on the Road to Rule.

Simply buy some furniture from the shops and change it for something similar in a house you own.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UPn1cq0=.jpgMagnate Personality 50:gsicon:
Build a property empire worth 2,000,000 gold

Just like Fable II, when you have the spare money purchase a house, redecorate it and accumulate 2,000,000 gold worth of property. Your money will roll in and you can then buy the more expensive places, which will bring in more money. If done right, you should get this before the end of the 2nd half of the game!

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UPrhX78=.jpgCrime Spree 10:gsicon:
Get a 15,000 gold bounty placed on your head

Bounty can be earned in many ways:

Breaking into locked house's
Robbing shops while people or the shop keeper can see you
Attacking the town guards and other none violent NPC's with any attack or weapon

Just keep doing this until your bounty is up to 15,000. When you become ruler and ruler of Albion no ones going to try and arrest you! You also need to stay in one region to make it count. Leaving will void the achievement making it reset to 0 Gold. The best place to get a bounty on your head fast is Bowerstone Castle!

If you haven't done it when you become the ruler then you'll have to get this in another players world as your ruler status is is ignored when away from your save.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/UP6ac3w=.jpgHenry VIII 10:gsicon:
As ruler of Albion, get married 6 times and kill 2 of your spouses

This will have to be done in the 2nd half of the game when you're finally ruler of Albion.
After completing a “Friend Relationship” quest, continue to interact with the NPC and they will ask you to complete a task for them. Complete this and they will fall in love with you (Just make sure they're straight and of the opposite sex or gay and of the same sex, as you cannot marry a straight member of the same sex).

This will require the “Family Pack” from the Road to Rule. Any marriages and deaths before this point will not count towards the achievement. Also to note that Coop marriages dont count either what ever stage you're at in the story!

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/+wZ+OA==.jpgChest Grandmaster 40:gsicon:
Unlock all of the chests on the Road To Rule

You can unlock this during the "Weight of the World" portion of the story if you're extremely thorough! Otherwise you'll need to invest extra time after the game for those extra Guild Seals.

To pretty much complete the whole of the Road to Rule you'll need to complete most, if not all optional quest. Get additional Seals by interacting with people, befriending them and preforming expressions!

Do not shy away from combat as you can earn your fair share of Seals from fighting alone!

For a full layout of the Road to Rule please see the Road to Rule Guide (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showpost.php?p=3662377&postcount=9)

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1138/+MePHg==.jpgTough Love 10:gsicon:
Save the maximum amount of Albion citizens

*Missable achievement*

Once you've become King and decided Logans fate you'll be told about the Treasury in your castle. You'll start out with 400,000 Gold.

Over the Rulings section of the story (the whole second half of the game) you have to decide what to do with all the promise's you made! Making the good choices will take money away from your Treasury but help Albion and make people like you even more and making the bad choices will give you more money back but make Albion hate you even more. All this effects the outcome of what happens near the end of the game and the citizens of Albion.

To get this achievement you'll need to save up 6.5mil worth of gold before the final ruling mission! If you choose good, you can always transfer money from your pocket into the Treasury and try and build it back up but it'll take a long time if your funds are low!

If you don't have the required amount of money by the 121st day, don't carry on with the rulings, as the story will carry on and you won't be able gather anymore money.

Ok, I've laid the guide out now and its good to use. I'll try and get most of the 50 tiles in before I've got to leave for work but if I dont they will be done by lunch time GMT, so pretty much before the US wakes up anyways!

I'll also when I can, add all the emotes/hyper links to the right forum pages. Again this will most likely be later this afternoon!

I've kep a few posts free for a couple of reason!

#1 - Just incase I need to move the guide around.
#2 - I want to make a LW/C list, so you know what all the items are and what you need to get! Wont be up until friday earliest!
#3 - Just incase they do DLC I'll want to add it to this main guide but it may just be a new one in any sub-forums made.. not decided yet as may need more posts to fit it all in depending on size.

Please be aware that this guide WIP but is pretty detailed already and more will come during the week.

If you have any questions about the guide just ask here and me or SideDish will see what we can do!

I think this needs to be done in the 2nd half of the game.. I'm actually looking into this, but give that a go. If you are in that part and its not working then I'm guessing you need to talk to someone inside.

Nice guide. I can't wait until it's finished. I have two questions though. 1. What are the "packs"? Ex. the family pack, or the landlord pack. And 2. Are you able to find more than one of the same legendary weapon in your game? Ex. You find a legendary sword early on, and then find the exact same sword later on in the game. Thus giving you two of them. I find that achievement would be impossible to get if you need every weapon you find. No one would want to trade with you since they need to keep theirs for the achievement. Thanks in advance.

I don't have the game yet (damn being in the UK, we have to wait until Friday..) however, I think I can answer your first question.

From what I gather, The Road to Rule contains a certain number of chests that grant you certain extras within the game. eg. I assume the 'Family Pack' grants you the ability to get married, have children etc. (although I don't know for definate and you may want confirmation)
I think that it's like this so that you only have to purchase the chests you want to purchase to complete the game, so if you don't want to get married (or don't have Xbox Live and don't see the need, because you won't get the Achievement) then you don't have to purchase it.

Does that make a little more sense now? :3

------------

And fantastic guide Nozza. I'm really looking forward to getting the game myself on Friday, and both following it and hopefully being able to contribute if I can! ^^

Coronation Chicken is also missable. Just finished the game and can't seem to do any more royal judgements :p

Thanks! I'll look into it!

What is the Family Pack??

What it says on the tin..

Get married, have kids, get a marital home and adopt.

When I've got all my info together about all these "packs" and the Road to Rule I'll be adding it to the RM..

Sorry, just noticed it didn't get answered.. Atm the moment I do not know! But tbh I dont think you can. As the chances are very slim and there's a total of 50 to get ext! But you never know!

I also posted this in the Legendary Weapons Trading thread but the more i think about it the more i think this won't be so bad:

If everyone's game has a max of 26 legendary weapons, which are random and tied to your game, and 12 of those are sold in shops, couldn't you just hop into a few friends' game and go legendary weapon shopping at their shops?

If there are exactly 50 legendary weapons then this will still take a good amount of luck to find the specific ones you need. But if there are say 100 different legendary weapons out there it would be quite easy to find 24 more from other people's shops.

Kester
10-26-2010, 09:38 PM
you can buy more than 1 of the same legendary weapon in the shops. they restock after some time

I'm not too sure if I will even bother going for the achievement for the 50 legendary weapons as I found the Dollcatcher one for Fable II really annoying.

Just saying I doubt you'll need to boost for the kill achievements. I started off doing magic, then ranged and now working on melee. Just did main story with a few sidequests in there up to the point you leave for Aurora. Doing some more sidequests for seals using melee to kill and within 20 minutes already at 100ish (Mourningwood quests, tons and tons of Hollow'd men).

As long as you go for the full 1000 and switch once each achievement unlocks you'll get all three with no boosting required.

Edit: Also I'm doing the Dark Sanctum questline. After Peace, Love, Homicide there's a quest titled excavation, which requires you to give 5000G to lesley and then you gotta wait. I'm assuming there rest of the quests you have listed are after this. I'll edit this once I continue it (you have to wait after giving the gold).

Edit: Everything is the same, just gotta dd in the Excavation quest and a note about 5000G and that'll 'cheevo will be nicely done.

Hint: Gold Key Locations

Mistpeak Valley Gold Key: If you examine the map of Mistpeak Valley, you can make out two caves entrances above the Demon Door and one on the far side of the level up in the hills. Travel to the latter cave -- you can get there by running uphill from the lake and hanging a left just before the path to Brightwall Village. You can follow a grassy ridge past a treasure chest to find this cave entrance to Chillbreath Cavern -- it is not an icy entrance, it is a thawed, brownish cave entrance. Run through this cave and take the path leading upwards. You should pass a 15 Silver Key chest on the way amongst various other Dig Spots and chests. Keep heading uphill and eventually you'll come to an exit at the very top. Once outside again, run down the short hill and you'll find the Gold Key floating amongst some ruins.

Aurora Gold Key: To get this Gold Key, first you need to have access to the Aurora continent. In the city, do the quest "A Key to a Greater Key." This quest became available to me after completing the main game. Talk to the guy who offers the quest, and he'll sell or give you a key. Once you have that key, there won't be a bread crumb trail telling you where to use it. Go to the desert area and run across the vast dunes. On the far side, turn left and follow the cliff face until you find a little path down. At the bottom, use the key given to you and you will unlock an area that contains the Gold Key.

Gold Key Doors

Bowerstone Castle Gold Key Door: On your way down the path in the Catacombs under the castle (which you traverse in the very beginning of the game), you may notice a Gold Door -- you need a Gold Key to open it, and so you'll have to return much alter when you have access to the castle AND a key. Inside you'll find 30 Guild Seals.
Sunset House Gold Key Door: In the Sunset House area, enter the main gate and take a right as soon as you set foot on the lawn. A winding path leads back to the Gold Key Door here. It's directly across from the gazebo. Inside this Gold Key Door you'll find a unique weapon (we found the Hammer of Wilmageddon).

Hint: Demon Doors

Mistpeak Valley Demon Door
"This stone edifice seeks inspiration for a tale of Heroes."
Note: This door requires a cooperative second player in an online game. This Demon Door requires you to propose marriage to it. You and your co-op partner must have the Family and Lover Expression Packs from the Road to Rule to be able to propose. When one character proposes to the other, go through the motions and marry each other and the door will open. The Demon Door Retirement Home features many strange Demon Doors to listen to and a legendary weapon in the lone chest. Only the host will get the legendary weapon (we received the "Very Sharp Scissors" melee weapon). You should be gracious and give it as a gift to your new spouse!

Brightwall Village Demon Door
"This ancient doorway is feeling rather broody."
You need only show up in front of this Demon Door with a child -- sounds easy right? Well, there's a catch: it has to be your OWN child. This is because your child is the only child you can hold hands with and, consequently, drag to the Demon Door for the Door's approval. To have a child, you must have the Family and Lover Expression Packs from the Road to Rule. Propose to a potential mate (of the opposite sex -- since you need to make a child), fulfill he or she's marriage requirements, purchase a house and have "Unsafe" sex by activating the Sleep icon at the bed your house and choosing to do so. After this you will have an infant child. Wait a bit for the child to become a toddler and you can then take it to the Demon Door.

Sunset House Demon Door

Return as Queen (or King) of Albion to access this Demon Door -- this will happen as part of the main quest you progress through the game. You can just walk right in and claim your 1,000,000 Gold prize. T

Question:

For:

You Can't Bring Me Down 50G
Complete Fable III without being knocked out in combat

You cannot be knocked out in combat throughout the game.

Now, in:

Tragical-Comical-Historical 10G
Help the celebrated thespians Lambert and Pinch put on the world's greatest play

You'd need to lose (i.e., get knocked out) to the mercenaries in the third play to complete the quest. Does getting knocked out here affect the "You can't bring me down" achievement?
I'm sorry if this is too much details for those who haven't play to this part yet.

This is a xbox term used a lot to stop games saving in parts where you mucked up!

If you die quickly press the guide button so the menu comes up and freezes your game. Then simple press Y and confirm you want to go back to the dashboard.

Doing this will exit you from the game in a way where nothings saved. But be warned if yuo didnt save it in a long time or no check point in a while you will start back at your last save which may be a fair distance from where you just were!

------------

Also just to let everyone know. The guide will get a good update soon and all missions will have a description on how they come to you via your journey/quests etc.

Nozza, don't put spoiler tags in.
1. If your looking at a guide, you should naturally expect to see spoilers if your looking for a specific thing.
2. It's the readers fault if they read a portion they haven't reached yet.
3. You cant put spoiler tags in a published guide.

So really no point in it.

Also, in the roadmap. Lose the color, and the ==Roadmap== thing, it's also in the guide. For the roadmap. Don't underline the portions like story, misc. Just bold them :)

Perhaps you don't need to restart.
Dont have the game yet but I don't expect the moments of combat will be very hard.
By the way, as all of you have completed/almost completed the game, do you have to fight and kill Logan of something in a 1 to 1 fight? If so, how hard is he?

Lets try and keep main story plot spoilers like that out of it for now or if someone does answer please use a spoiler tag. I'll answer below a bit

Before you become ruler you get 2 choices of what do do with Logan. Leave him (could be let him go or throw him in jail?) or the other I think is something along the evil line like kill him. So you get an evil/good choice like all able things!

Having a battle with him I do not know..

It's not that it's hard, but it's something that I think should be mentioned. For "Lute Hero Tour" you need to successfully complete a round of Lute Hero to have it count for that town. It's not completely obvious, but I tried just mashing through a round because I was doing something else at the time and it doesn't count for the town if you do not succeed

I just finished the game with taking every profitable decision while king and fell about 800k short of the required 6.5 million. I thought making all evil decisions would get me to the 6.5 mill, but it looks like you need to make yourself a fair amount of money, and donate it to the treasury before finishing to get this.

I hope this can help everyone; it's a word document collecting the information about the whereabouts of all the books, gnomes and keys sorted by location. It's basically a compendium of the information found at various links in other threads. It's missing one gnome so if anyone could update that it'd be helpful, but otherwise it's complete and has a few images to help out.

I just finished the game with taking every profitable decision while king and fell about 800k short of the required 6.5 million. I thought making all evil decisions would get me to the 6.5 mill, but it looks like you need to make yourself a fair amount of money, and donate it to the treasury before finishing to get this.
Money isn't hard to come by though. Get 1 job up to level 5, i chose lute hero cause of the achievement. Get money from that, buy property. You will gain money every 5 minutes. Keep doing the job. After about 30 minutes i was able to buy the pawnshop which is almost 150k.

I have noticed that time doesn't move forward (at least towards the attack) if you don't do the final royal duty in a given day. that might be worht noting.I will edit if this is not true.

Spellweaver certainly seems to be bugged. I just got it whilst wearing the ice shards gauntlet and nothing else. I was casting ice shards and shooting hollow men in the face. I haven't even unlocked spell weaving on the Road to Rule yet.

I fell in battle, and dashboarded it. I appeared at my last checkpoint when I started back up, but it says I have fallen in battle once in my stats. Is that normal? or does that mean it saved right when I fell in battle?

Another question... What exactly saves between playthroughs? If I start a new playthrough, what do I lose and what do I keep?

I am the one who contributed that tip and have seen other people confirm it as well. However I did not notice in my stats whether or not I got knocked out in battle or not. I would assume that yours might have saved it before you got to dashboard, but I dont know for sure. I definitely fell in battle, it told me, and I dashboarded. The achievement popped after the credits.

An additional note for this that I posted in it's own topic is that to be completely "good" and save all of the people you will need 9 million of your own money. 6.5 for the people and 2.5 for the decisions

Anyone get the Crime Spree achieve after they became king/queen? I saved and started to massacre everyone which only resulted in them either running away or simply being scared. Absolutely no bounty popped up. Curious if stealing from a shop or breaking into places at night may be the only way to get it at this point. =/

Just an FYI to anyone else, 'Flower Power' may be bugged atm. I'm currently residing at 29/30 flowers and have gone over every square inch w/o finding the 30th.

There is one place in 'Shiting Sands', exit out of the army outpost (side of Crossroads door) and turn left. You'll see a circle sand dune, your dog should say treasure and run to a spot. Nothing is there. Runs to the same spot, no matter which direction you run from. I believe it is the last flower. Just sent a bug report to Lionhead. Hopefully they can confirm my suspicion and get a fix out.

I'm trying to find this out..

I think it may be as soon as you become king no one will try and take you on if you're bad as you are their king and all!

I'm 80% there in mind that this has to be done in the first half of the game thus making it missible...

I'll have an answer later today!

Sorry for double post but this needs it own..

I can confirm now that this is a missable achievement! In advance I'm sorry for anyone thats gone past the point I'm about to type up but as stated this is a WIP guide still and this one was unknown to me! But there may be a way around it, so all hope may not of been lost!

So, Crime Spree achievement - Get a 15,000 gold bounty placed on your head

Has to be done in the 1st half of the game! In the first half you're just a rebel, meaning any bad actions you do will get the guards on you and a bounty on your head!

As soon as you become king, this means no more bounty will be on your head as you are ruler of Albion.. so no ones gonna mess with you! Thus making this achievement missable!

BUT - You may be able to get this by joining another persnos game (or I think visa versa) and you/them starting a crime spree riot in each others game worlds! As you are a guest etc your king status does not matter meaning you had now again get a bounty on your head.

Remember though, what ever action someone does in your game or the other way aruond have no effect on each other! So you can go crazy and all will be reset once you/they leave!

Adding now to guide/RM

Meh... Fable 2, was so much easier to get achievements in...

I'm already doing a second play-through for "Tough Love" and "Crime Spree" because I didn't do either, as I did not know that doing the kings tasks would lapse so many days. After like 4-6 Slates of Tasks I was at the end, and well below the required mark for "Tough Love". Anywho, hope the rest of you are having better luck with this than I did.

Yes.

I did "We Can Be Heroes" couch co-op by starting another game on a second profile. I had my main hero join the second one, left and did some other stuff, and when I returned the achievement had popped. (The mercenary gets paid every few minutes for spending time in the other world.)

Lets say I wane get the crime spree or Henry VIII achievement, but don’t wont to do “evil” things, can I save my game, get the achievement and then quit and don’t save, then load up my game before the crime spree? Quick question for the "Remodelling" achievement. I've got enough furniture to put 1-2 pieces in 5 different houses, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to place those pieces there. I've gone into a house and tried, tried from the map by clicking on a specific property and nothing. How do I actually place those pieces of furniture there? I've had the correct pack (obviously, if I own properties) for ages, so that's not the issue.

A little more clarity on this one would be nice. Keep up the great work guys.

Edit: Nevermind, figured it out. What you need to do is go into your house and press up on the D-Pad, then hit A when it asks if you want Jasper to fix up your house for you. You really only need one piece of furniture because it replaces the one in the house and puts that into your inventory. Just go from one house to the next, very easy to do in Bowerstone Market as there's a ton of houses right next to one another.

You should note, you do loose people for popularity contest. So probally best to do it in one sitting. And this is an achievement that is much quicker to do before you become king/queen. Reasoning being after you are King/Queen everyone is friends with you or they fear/hate you. Either way you gotta work hard to bring 'em down to neutral or work hard to bring 'em up. No fun and extremely time consuming. Faster to start a second playthough and get 20 real fast between Dweller camp and brightfall.

I just spent about 2 hours trying to find spouses and rings to marry, due to the fact most of my games population is gone due to the end. Anyhow, I finally got married for what I thought was a 6th time, and apparently was a 7th because of the online marriage I had encountered for the achievement. Needless to say I went ahead and killed 2 wives after I married the "7th" and the achievement did not pop. Just FYI for those that are going to attempt this one.

To add to what you had for "Barrel of Laughs", if you use your gun, you can hit LT and then use the LS to target the barrels. It's pretty similar to VATS from Fallout, minus the freezing time bit. Just tap LS in the direction of the barrel and it should automatically jump from one target to the next. Just be wary of nearby enemies as they will spin you around if they melee you.

***SPOILERS***

Also, if you're still working on this during the battle to take the throne, you have to be pretty quick to shoot them because your followers will target them if there's enemies nearby.

Henry VIII 10
As ruler of Albion, get married 6 times and kill 2 of your spouses

This will have to be done in the 2nd half of the game when you're finally ruler of Albion.
After completing a “Friend Relationship” quest, continue to interact with the NPC and they will ask you to complete another task for you. Complete this and they will fall in love with you (Just make sure they're straight and of the opposite sex or gay and of the same sex, as you cannot marry a straight member of the same sex).

This will require the “Family Pack” from the Road to Rule. Any marriages and deaths before this point will not count towards the achievement.

for this achievement, do you have to be married to all 6 at the same time?

and the orphan achievement is missable if you turn the orphanage into a brothel.

Your description for what to do to get Knight Jumps Chesty is either wrong, or the quest is bugged. Interacting with each statue 4 times does not produce a white flash for me. Still can't enter the house.

I figured out that you have to enter during daytime, walk over to the gazebo thingy on the left, look at the statue positions, exit, then re-enter and interact with the statues. You have to set them to the same position they were in during the day, which means interacting 4 times. You have to have observed them during the day before you can get the house to open.

I just wanted to clarify for some people. I have seen that some people have turned their orphanage into a whorehouse (I did the same thing) but you can indeed get the Adopt or Die achievement, the orphans are just out sleeping on the road instead of in the orphanage.

The side road that the orphanage/whorehouse faces, just walk back to the water and as soon as that wall/fence on your left ends look to you left and you will see a woman and about 3 orphans laying on blankets in the corner, thats where I adopted a kid for the achievment.

Hope that helps

Well. Beat the game and missed Tough Love. I simply decided to play the game by my own so I could enjoy the experience and lack of spoilers etc. My bad haha.

But yeah, Here's the thing:

I gave the money to the guy responsible for the Driftwood Island bridge and the bridge never appeared. I'm guessing this has to do with the casualties of the kingdom or the quest is kind of bugged. If this is the case then the "Island Paradise" achievement is missable. Also any other Collectable achievement related to the island is missable as well.

Great Guide BTW.

Edit: Nevermind what I just said. The bridge is near from where I paid the guy. It's quite hidden and it's location makes no sense. So yeah, you can miss it if you aren't careful.

Any1 having problems with accessing the mansion for chesty? Ive accidentally touched the statues more than 4 times... (even at the 4th touching them, i did not get a white flashing screen...) and now all i can think off is the pattern of the expressions the statues are making and no idea what the right combination is... some help would be appreciated!

edit: will apparently you can just go out and come back in to reset the statues so it worked... haha

I'm running into the same problem, theres nobody for me to even get the quest from at this point. Looks like you must do tough love in order to accomplish this. Oh well, I've got a slew of achievements I need to redo now, considering one of the Gold keys and possibly silver ones are on driftwood.

Go to the Snatuary, press down and in the top left corner is the stats board. It'll tell you there under one of the menu's

And about Tough Love do you just need 6,5M while ruling or also make the right choices and don't kill any citizens in other quests?

Has to be done during the Weight of the World chapter!

With the exception of Achievements that can be missed, once the game ends and the credits role, can I carry on playing to mop up loads of stuff?

Im just planning on doing the story at first then mopping up achievements after the main game ends.

For Crime Spree, I went to another friends game in Bowerstone Market and killed everyone, then had him keep accepting the Lute Hero job and about 4-5 villagers would spawn each time.

Got it in less than 4 minutes. Good solution for those who have beaten the game.

Defeat Chesty at his own game

Quest: Chesty's Chest
Worth: None
Location: Sunset House
How to Complete: After Mourningwood Fort Battle has finished you'll follow the trail to your next destination you will come across a large set of open gates on the left just beyond a graveyard. Enter through the gates to transition to Sunset House.

Once in this region, exit it and re-enter (it should now be night time), head to the glowing gazebo and interact with each ghostly statue 4 times. The screen should flash white, it will return to daylight and the house will now appear. Enter the house and read the note on the table to begin the quest.

It is worth bearing in mind that after you read the note you cannot leave the house until you complete the quest.

[More details to come][/QUOTE]

I followed your guide and did it four times with each statue but didnot work so i looked up my info
just to let you know the statues all have to be certain poses if i had some way of taking a pic i would upload it but hes a vid of each pose

I've tried both xbox live and doing the co-op way

I do receive gold when other players play or sell but my achievement bar for the 1000g hasn't shown

Any info would be much appreciated.

There isnt anywhere to check on how many kills you've got with barrels I'm afraid.

Good places to start were the bandits camp, the one with the boss guy (names escape me). The the next best place was where you go down into the cave when the monorail collapses! There's barrels everywhere in there, so head back there and try and kill as many as you can from that!

great guide! not sure if anyone else has noticed, but after completeing the game if you don't raise enough moneyin your treasury a majority of albions population disappears. the reason this is important isthe shops don't close. brightwall and bowerstone's clothing and weapon shops were devoid of shop keepers, but all items remain. once king gaurds won't arrest you, going to bowerstone market twice, and brightwall once i have stolen a majority of the clothes and legendary weapons. by myself i have more than 26 legendary weapons. granted you won't be able to just run back and forth and grab them all, but one or two different items showed up, upon revisit. so if you don't care much about the morality you can score alot without spending a dime. i'll keep checking to see if it gives me more and let you know how it goes.

Tough Love Achievement

I found that the description for the tough love achievement is pretty vague. For example, i'm not sure how i put gold in the treasury or what the best ways to earn gold are. Also, when does this achievement actually become missable? When does it get to the point where i can no longer put money into the treasury etc etc. Lastly, which part of the game is this in? When you're the ruler of Albion or when you're creating a revolution?

I'm honestly not complaining, but i'm trying to 1000 in one playthrough and i've read this is missable and it also seems like a pain in the ass :p.

After you have visited aurora and after you become king i believe there will be shops there. It isnt an indoor building its more of a stall. Its near the pawn shop and weapons shop in the town.

Easy way to find it is if you havent purchased all the buildings yet, use the map overview to find it, then buy it from the map, when you are in town it will be the only place that has a gold house symbol showing you own it if its the only building you own.

I believe you can lose friends so it isnt just how many friend quests you have completed its how many villagers you have improved your relationship with to friend status. i know mine actually goes down if i make some love me. i had 11 at the time i became king and it dropped to 3 when i finished the game. That is when you start the ruling section and once all the rullings are done and you dont have the 6.5 amount thats when you'll miss the achievement. I'll look at the guide now and see what it says and see if it need changing!

You have to have observed them during the day before you can get the house to open.

thanks for this. Was wondering why i couldnt get it to work :)

Nice but you can do this without having to boost it, unless you want it early, but you can also do it when you do down to the monorail and fight the hobbes. When you come to the arena area there's two summons hobbes and they summon about 3 skeleton hobbes each. Just dont kill them and you can boost.

Also in later missions the wave of enemies you face get bigger and longer (reavers mansion) and also when you first head to Aurora and you're in the Snad temple place the amount of shadows that come at you is massive and you can easly in that part alon rack up 200+ kills! When I got to that bit I popped the last kill achievement and that was from not boosting one bit throughout the game!

hey, great guide!

i have a tip for the folks going for the legendary weapons/clothing collection achievements who may be fearful of trading with others online. if you are fearful the other person will take off with the stuff you are about to trade, make a back-up save to the internal flash (if your console has it) or a thumb drive BEFORE doing the trade. go to System Settings and copy your game save to one of these locations. this way, if the person you are trading with takes off with all of your stuff, you can at least revert back to that previous game save before the trade and still have your belongings. just delete the one from hdd after making the trade if the person does leave the game before trading back with you.

just figured it might be helpful to those going for these achievements to know about doing this (in case they don't already) so they won't lose all of their own progress as a result of someone not being on the up and up (i remember this happening with the dolls in two).

I got two tips for people playing coop over LIVE. Dont know if its already mentioned, but I dont see it in the guide itself yet:

- You can get easy guild seals by joining a random world in the live-room in the sanctuary. You'll get some just for joining, but I also did a few quests in random games together with the hosts. I was in need for guild seals, but did all the quests in my own game and still needed 250 seals. After a short period of time playing random co-ops I easily got a few 50 guildseal quests and I'm nearly there to unlock all chests.

- You basically dont need friends to get all legendary weapons. If you join a random world, you can also shop there in the weapon stores (Brightwall, Bowerstone and Aurora) because the weapons that feature in another ones game are random. and just buy it. Yesterday I was lucky to ran into some guy that pointed that out and took me to all weapon stores.

You can ask if you can have a look in all three weaponstores once you joined or just shop there yourself if you happen to join someone in Brightwall, Bowerstone Market or Aurora.

Build a property empire worth 2,000,000 gold

It's not only the value of your properties which count towards this achievement, the income/rent you recieve every 5 minutes counts towards this achievement aswell. So, in effect, you could buy one house and just keep getting the income to accumulate to 2,000,000 but that's one long wait.

At first i would suggest buying the houses in the Dwellers camp and charge the highest amount of rent.
Move on to buying the market stalls in Brightwall Village, again charge the highest amount of rent.
As your funds grow you should start buying the medium size business in Bowerstone Old Town and Brightwall Village. The tattoo shop, potion shop and hair stylist etc etc.
Now you should buy the expensive establishments, these include pubs, pawn shops and some furniture shops. Once you own all of these the money will be rolling in.

Avoid buying houses as you will need to keep paying gold to keep them repaired, otherwise the tenant will refuse to pay rent.

You didn't mention "I Am The Keymaster" as a missable achievement.. which I kinda think it is. You cannot get the silver key in Bowerstone Old Quarter unless you *Spoiler* Rebuild Bowerstone Old Quarter as the King/Queen or get it before it is wrecked. Unless of course you join a co-op game that has done the above or has not got that far in the game... which is what I had to do to get it. Luckily I was able to bring it back with me. Just a thought though this could prob be considered a missable achievement... right?

I got two tips for people playing coop over LIVE. Dont know if its already mentioned, but I dont see it in the guide itself yet:

- You can get easy guild seals by joining a random world in the live-room in the sanctuary. You'll get some just for joining, but I also did a few quests in random games together with the hosts. I was in need for guild seals, but did all the quests in my own game and still needed 250 seals. After a short period of time playing random co-ops I easily got a few 50 guildseal quests and I'm nearly there to unlock all chests.

i'm pretty sure that after you complete all the driftwood quests, once you sleep in a bed you get the achievement. Like go to your house, sleep till morning, then when your character wakes up you should get the achievement.

Edit: i can also say that the 2,000 points for killing hollow men at the fort is very easy to do by yourself. Just keep shooting, always be moving your target, and aim largely for groups. If no groups have spawned yet hit a single guy just so you still get some points.

The Popularity Contest has to be done before you become the ruler of Albion. You'll have 2-300 friends depending on how good you've been, when you finish the game, and none of them count as friends towards the achievement. So do this achievement as soon as possible. (This also means fewer cities to run back and forth to).

You mean 51 silver? Because there are 4 gold and 50 silver ones. I currently need 1 more Silver Key and it's in Mistpeak Valley but somehow I can't find it. I've been at all 6 spots and it's just not there...

Try going into the Tram Station in Millsfield. When you go in, you will technically be in "The Hole," which is considered part of Mistpeak Valley. My friend and I spent a couple hours trying to find the key and this was the one we were missing.

Just for information, I got scored exactly 2000 on the mortar game and didn't unlock the achievement, so to re-word it better, you need to score OVER 2000, at least I had to

Popularity Contest Achievement Glitch:

There is a glitch to do this, do 5 courier quest in the same area,
do the quests what they want.
Before you go back to the 5 people save your progress,
then bring in a second controller and save your progress on the second account after you finish the courier quest.
Then dashboard and go back into the game that your trying to get the achievement for,
Now when you come back bring back the second controller, so then you'll have the stats and the option to finish the same courier quests again. Repeat 4 times, and you've got the achievement.
You can do this with 10 Courier quests and repeat twice, or whatever you want to do. I just found it easier to do it 5 quests, 4 times.

Breaking gets you money and keep loses money, but its up to you what decisions you make. If you have enough of your own money to float the treasury then choose good (if thats the way you want to go)

I just finally got around to completing the game and I did the money glitch, put 15mil I think in the treasury and chose all good stuff during the rulings and I still had about 9mil left at the end!

Just something you may want to add to the clothing portion of the guide:

The Masquerade suit for the opposite sex of your character is available in the Bower Threads clothing shop BEFORE you do the quest to go to the masquerade party. Once you have completed that quest, it's no longer available!

Exactly correct! It is just as missable as Crime Spree is.. I think you should at least note it because alot of people will not rebuild Bowerstone Old thinking it won't effect their achievements since your guide doesn't mention it... Then when they go to collect silver keys they will have to go way out of their way to get it or just think they can't get it at all and start over..

this is interesting but are all needed weapons buyable in shops? or are there some weapons which are only "random in chests"?

There are 4 Weapons in Each Blacksmith Shop, There are 3 Shops.(Brightwall, Bowerstone Market, Aurora)
So 12 Weapons out of the Possible 26, 14 are found elsewhere.

Not in the same playthrough but the shop's weapons are randomized through each playthrough.
But you need all the weapons at once to get the Achievement.

Is there any recommended / easiest weapon to do the achievement, 'my weapon is better than yours?'
Edit: Does anyone know if, for the same achievement, if your given a fully upgraded weapon in a trade from another person, does the achievement unlock for the receiver?

I doubt that would work since the achievement unlocks when you receive the upgrade - not when you fulfill the requirements, but actually get the upgrade emote.

Just look through your weapons for one that sounds like it has fairly easy requirements and grind 'em out. Hammer of Wilmageddon comes to mind - 100 kills with unwoven fireball, 200 kills with unwoven shock, and 100 hollow man kills.

You could probably get the achievement that way, or maybe get a 2 Upgraded Weapon and do the 3rd by yourself.
Casanova(Sword) always seemed really easy.

yes, but i should be able to get all weapons if i just keep trying to buy weapons in other players worlds? (instead of trading)
or are there certain weapons which only spawn in chests?

One chest will always be the same which is in the one before the Mourningwood Fort which is always the Bonesmasher.
But the rest are random.
