View Full Version : Too short problem

I tried to let me 3 year old play some of kinect adventures but it keeps showing him as though he's kneeling. He's a little over 3 feet tall, so I guess it can't tell he's just a kid and it thinks he's an adult kneeling. Does anybody know how to fix this? Since this is made for kids I thought it would be a problem.

The placement of the device affects how it reads people. For shorter players it should be below the tv. For taller people it should be above. I hope this helps.

I'll put it below it and see what happens...thanks!

Also, set him up with his own XBox Gamertag, and get him to go through the Kinect ID stuff. It will learn about his unique body shape/size and adjust accordingly.

At first it showed my dad as kneeling when he tried it too, than after logging in and using Kinect ID it worked fine.

i have had the same problems. My wife watches little kids and we have let them play on it. Sometimes it looks like there legs are jello and the hands are crossed. I am waiting for the mount so i can mount it on top of tv

I had the same problem with my Son. I moved the sensor to the edge of the tV stand and it got him fine.

looks like when i get my xbox back, im putin it on the entertainment stand instead of the wall like i was going to.. that way my kids can play with no problems..
