So, so far, I'm impressed with Kinect, very responsive, good fun. I like it.

The only thing I don't like is that you cannot say 'Xobx pause' with movies, say, streamed from your PC. :( I think it's only with Zune movies, which is a bummer, coz I have a load of DVD's (which I haven't tried yet, but I will) that I wanna shout pause too, and I'm not paying the rental to do that.

I think they need to put that in at some point, just my two cents!

Just an FYI on this, 'pause' doesn't seem to work anywhere. I played a movie DVD, can't stop/pause/menu unless you use the controller.

And I'm now listening to Last.fm, no pause, but you can 'next' and 'stop'.

I don't get how there is a system for all these voice commands in place, but they don't work with everything.

I'll shut up now.

Have you tried Netflix?

I've read numerous complaints that netflix currently does not have any support for kinect.

Am I right in saying I can't get Netflix in the UK? I've never looked, I have a massive DVD collection, so never 'digitally rent' anything.

Which is why it's a bummer. Microsoft : Spend 130 on Kinect, if you want the cool 'video voice commands', please spend more on renting movies you already have!
