SgtTalbert
Hi All, I am off to washington DC tomorrow (16th November) I am thinking of buying a Kinect controller - I know the 'voltage' shouldnt be a problem as it does "Input 100 - 240V ~0.3A, 47-63Hz - Output 12V 1.08A" However, due to the 'region' issue with voice...will it work with 'voice' etc... when I get back to the UK? Many Thanks, Tal
Pyrochaos
I think you should be fine. If you go to Kotaku, they did a "voice stress test" where they tested a bunch of different accents, and it worked surprisingly well. Edit: Here is the link: http://kotaku.com/5681959/xbox-360-kinect-stress-test-technology-vs-dogs-darkness-disguises You will also probably need a outlet adapter, which should be easy to find (unless you have the slim Xbox already)
Agent Aero
I should imagine it would work. I think that they would ship all available languages with every Kinect sensor in every region. If they didn't then what would happen for an American living in the UK or vice versa?
Minty
Well I'm English and my US one recognises my voice fine.
