Welcome to Feary: Legends of Avalon. In this JRPG-type game you take control of a faery which has been awaken by the King in order to save the faery world. This RPG is priced at 1200 MSP and is available in all regions.

Step 1: Play through the main quest

After setting the game's difficulty level to "Easy", your first thing you might want to do is to play through the whole main quest. There are 4 worlds to explore and complete. After completing the first few tasks, you will net Faery warrior and Head hunter. Talk to every inhabitant in order to gain quests and receive Explorer. If you're stuck at any point, check out my quest guide which can be found HERE (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=277623).

IMPORTANT: Be sure to save before talking to King Oberon after finishing the last main quest! If you talk to him, you will get a prompt but you won't be able to use that save later. So go into the pause menu and save manually before talking to him or you won't be able to complete any sidequests and have to start over!

Step 2: Complete all sidequests

After you've completed the main quest, you should load up your last save (Which should be in front of King Oberon) and complete any side quests you may have missed. This will give you Discoverer, all of the sidequest-achievements, and finally Collector.

Conclusion

Faery: Legends of Avalonis definitely one of the easiest, yet enoyable 200 available on the marketplace. Even without any guides, you are able to complete the game within 8 hours. Unfortunately, it offers just a little content for a high price.

You can check your status in the notebook, which you can open by pressing :back:. Characters you haven't talked to yet are greyed out.

I created a list which includes every location for every NPC: HERE. (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=277637)

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1586/+66scQ==.jpgCollector - 15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png
Collect 60 items of equipment.

There are 3 ways to obtain equipment: Through boss fights, completing quests or as content of treasure chests. Once you've beaten every boss and completed every side quest, you'll only need a few more chests in order to obtain this achievement. The chests aren't very well hidden so don't worry about this one.

You can check your status by counting the unlocked equipment in your inventory.

Would you maybe say this is more of a 2 since there is no real way to track NPCs you've talked to and it could cause some people some grief? I like to lay the lines as a 1/10 being you can complete a game for full points without any collectibles, can play on easy, and hardly need any guide of any kind. You have provided a few, so I'm guessing some checks are needed to those :) If I am wrong, please explain in your roadmap why exactly it's easy.

Tyger, you can check who you've talked to by pressing the back button, then scrolling over to Notebook. It will show where you are missing someone at the top of each page. You can also go to My Tale to see which quests you are missing. I would agree that it's a two though, as it does take a "little" brainpower to complete. I would flesh out some of the guide too. In your NPC guide, it says "this character is story related and cannot be missed." You can still put where to find them. I had one hell of a time finding the Korrigans that call the Shipwrecker because I missed the dialogue, and no where else does it say where they are. It's a great guide, but maybe flesh it out a little more.

Another great guide rounding off a nice set of three in support of this cool little game. A lot of hard work gratefully appreciated.

I would like to add that I as well feel it should be a 2 for difficulty as it does require some thought and combat does require some strategy. There is also a problem with "The Husband of Morgiana" quest which makes it seem like it cannot be completed depending on when you initiate it in comparison to your progress through the main quest.

Also, I completely disagree with the Step 1 and Step 2 parts. First reason is because if you go back and do side quests at the very end then you will not do as well for any fights required for the main quest since you often get equipment as rewards for side quests. Second, by not doing everything you can as you go then you will not gain as many levels during the progression of the main quest and therefore will not have as many powers and abilities available and/or will not have been able to strengthen as many existing powers and abilities either. In my opinion, everything should be done as you go for the reasons I have stated above.
