View Full Version : Importing the CE to Australia

What's the best way to do it?
I've had it preordered at EB Games here since October but I've pretty much changed my mind about the $130 price tag considering how much more unfair that looks now with the exchange rate being favourable and all. (Eg. at this moment, 1.000AUD = 1.015USD)

Ebay may be your best bet on a seller. And yeah, they do charge much higher in other areas.
But if you are going to import it from somewhere else. Make sure it's either region free or to the region your console is specified to. I'd hate for you to get it imported and it be NTSC and you can't play it on your PAL(I think AU is pal?) console. :(

1. Indicates Region / Compatibility.
2. Generally cheaper than equivalent product(s) in Australia.
3. Decent to find some of the games refused classification in Aus. (LFD2 and so on).
4. Cheaper again if you don't mind waiting longer for the game to arrive.
The problem is... I don't think there are any PAL / Region Free editions of DS2 (360) on the site, but I thought I'd recommend it in general anyway.
