I assume you're using a guide... that's what I'm doing and I'm almost done...

Generally they are in order so once you find the first item in that area it becomes more clear to follow.

Also the longer you play the game the more familiar the landmarks become and again that makes it easier to find things refered to in the guide.

So a combination of googling how to get to certain places and using a guide is my only advice. And there is probably videos on youtube by now also...

amazingly enough i found mostly half of each of the collectibles on my own but used the guide for the Books Gnomes and Keys. The flowers i found all on my own by checking every nook and cranny in all the 3 auroan areas

The guide book helps a lot with the collectables. It'll be pretty hard to collect everything without a guide or something.

i would also make sure that you get Brian (i think thats his name) his first gnome in brightwall village. then as you go thru the story you can find and kill the gnomes, rather than going back later and possibly missing a bunch.

a good strategy (that i used atleast) was searching for most of the collectibles while waiting to be king. letting the income flourish as i knocked out the books, keys, and gnomes :P

*hope this helped
