What did I say?!?!? I knew they wouldnt just unlock Kintaro as dlc even though he's already in the game(And they said Boss Characters are not going to be playable, though for some cheat code to unlock in regular local arcade wouldnt suck :P). On March 26, 2011, Kintaro, Kenshi, and "The Lady in Red" were confirmed as DLC's for Mortal Kombat (http://mortalkombat.wikia.com/wiki/Mortal_Kombat_%282011_video_game%29#cite_note-10). But it could be a hoax, according to Mortal Kombat producer Shaun Himmerick when he denied a tweet from Mortal Kombat Online(The tweet was MKO asking the producer about it and he responded "What? Wrong.")
Not really surprising since a lot of untruthful information always gets leaked when a new mk game comes out...I.E. Fanart, GamePro..., Very smart computer people who can alter videos n such.
I still dont buy it. Im waiting til april 1st to know for a fact its not a joke...lol Seriously the blind swordsmen and not the purple ninja or elder god shinnok? Unfathomable!

Yeah and Game Pro & EGM used to always do those "April Fools" pages Anyways (which were way better that what they & Game Informer do Now-A-Days). Like Nimbus Terrafaux The Name should have been a Dead Giveaway, Cool Idea Though.
MK9 comes out in April So I wouldnt be surprised if they crank out a Doctored picture in every Game Mag that does April Fools Joke pages every year.
My Buddy Looked & Looked for this dude on MK1 on Genesis

MORTAL KOMBAT SECRET CHARACTER!?

Whilst the article makes no mention of when to expect this first strike of DLC, it does however provide some renders of the aforementioned characters, Kintaro sports a design very similar to his Armageddon attire and Kenshi wields a faithful update of his Deadly Alliance design.
I imagine the convenience (and I couldn't find these supposed images myself, although I didn't look all that hard either) that they looked very similar to their respective games didn't help either. It did kind of make me wonder.

Well now game informer has posted that Scarlet and Kenshi will be the first 2 dlc characters, and they got it from the producer of the games. Also Kintaro may be available later. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2011/03/27/kenshi-and-scarlet-announced-as-first-downloadable-mortal-kombat-characters.aspx

Hopefully it is a hoax, I'd prefer Rain & Robo-Smoke as DLC before the ones said. I also would like Bo'Rai Cho as DLC! :drunk
