Well done buddy; any advice on the Broken Record & Masters Legend achievements?

Just play 1 round tournaments. You can skip the DLC courses and should be fine. Be careful if you do skip any tournaments and only skip the 2 star tournaments. I didn't start skipping tournaments until the 5th season and even then I only skipped 4 tournaments a year. Only skip tournaments if you have a comfortable lead in the world rankings. Meaning if my avg. point lead was 39 or higher i would skip a tournament. Never skip two tournaments in a row as that seems to lose you more points. Also never skip a tournament that is 3 stars or more as that also seems to lose you more. Once I got to season 5 (before I skipped any tournaments) I backed out to the dashboard and copied my save to a memory card just in case skipping tournaments dropped me out of the number 1 spot.

Masters Legend will come in time because you need to play to the 7th season to get the weeks achievement (assuming you stay number one from when you fist achieve the number one ranking). I had to play until the 8th season because right after I got the number one ranking in the beginning of season 2 tiger overtook me after I skipped a DLC tournament.

Im in season three as well. Tiger has 28.95 points and I have 39 something. I skipped like five in a row and it stayed about the same. I may try saving it to a memory card though, just Incase something squirrely happens

Be careful when you skip events because I noticed even though it stayed about the same after you are done skipping and play the next tournament after that round you could drop a few points even if you win.

Yes it is as I have just done it.

I'm not ripping you or anything, but you literally must have played this game for 3 or 4 days straight.
