As much as I hate it when it comes to playing on Sundays, the 12th is great. I know it's cliche, but it's the best for a reason.

What's your favorite hole?

I like 12 too. I like 13 best. It is very challenging and it reminds me of playing a longer par 5 version of 12.

I like Golden Bell the best.

Better a challenge than a cakewalk!

Golden Bell for sure, such a classic hole. Well all of Amen Corner is pretty famous but that's definitely my favorite. And hooray for the real Masters starting today!

Me too! His fan base has definitely fallen off but I'm still a devoted fan. :woop:

I'm a devoted fan too and I can take 1 under today. 3 more solid rounds and he'll be up there. A win for him at the Masters would be huge in captivating interest in golf among America's youth. It will also help to clean up his past and emerge back to World #1.

How exciting is his round right now? It's crazy! 6 under right now, putting for a 4th consecutive birdie to go 7 under. He's back!!:D

Edit: okay he missed it by a hair, but this is really promising going into the weekend.

It sure is going to be exciting. This is great. I have a feeling about this Sunday that I haven't felt since Chevron.

Oh yea if he makes this birdie at 18. 6 under is still great position for the weekend. I've been pulling for tiger even harder since all the troubles he has had. Tiger is the reason I ever picked up a golf club. lets go tiger!!!

By the way my favorite hole is 15. I love the approach shot and the risk you take for the eagle.

Definitely looking up for Tiger heading into the weekend. He has a good history of getting paired up with KJ Choi. I just turned it back onto ESPN to find that they're replaying all their coverage from earlier today. I get to watch Tiger's magic again! haha. I agree that it is definitely good to have this feeling again; finally a reason to love watching golf again.

This great for all golf. It's nice to see Tiger get back to his winning ways.

Rory's obviously in the driver's seat, but I don't think he's home-free just yet. There's a very talented bunch of golfers on his heels. If he stumbles a bit (especially, if Tiger or Ogilvy or Cabrera gets out to a good start), then it's a tournament again.

Remember how poorly Angel Cabrera played the first six or seven holes in 09 when Phil and Tiger were going off? I sense something like that today. I will say, however, that Rory's first 36 holes reminded me of Tiger's first 36 holes in 1997.

I think Rory will choke today. Whoever has the best round today will win as long as they are in contention. Everyone from Tiger up has a chance.

Good call! McIlroy is about to bogey his first 2 holes, possibly worse. And Tiger is already looking good on the front 9, can't imagine what he's gonna do on the back. I like Rory a little, but I didn't want him to do well today because I want a close/exciting finish.

Edit: nevermind, he somehow still came away with par despite being in 2 different bunkers on the same hole haha.

Edit2: another awesome birdie for Tiger. Followed by an epic fist pump, gotta love it.

That's what make the Masters special. If you can't play 4 good rounds you don't wear green.
