The Kinect works through a USB port, so if you have one of those then it should be compatible. The Kinect is good for losing weight, so long as you do it long enough and maintain a healthy diet. There's yet to be a wide variety of games outside of fitness, but there's several titles that involve mini-games, dancing, and sports.

Here are some trailers for some fitness games to give an idea of exercises:

If you have an xbox other than the new slim models you need to plug in an external power supply which comes with the Kinect. The new slim models have the power supply for the Kinect built in.

Looks promising, I am a massive fan of boxing, football/soccer, fighting ect.

Would "Fighter's Uncaged" be good for loosing weight? Also what about UFC Trainer?

Anything that gets you moving is good for losing weight, but more important is what you eat, if you still eat crap but move around more you're not likely to lose much because you'll probably just eat more crap.

If I do eat "crap" it's normally in the morning before I walk down to school and I make sure I don't eat past 7PM.
