Uber Character Creation

Using the following perk glitch methods you can create a fairly uber character.

This is with current patch and Dead Money and Honest Hearts DLCs

Dcon6393 his video and post

I did mine a bit different than the above links and videos as follows:

Starting character lets call him Blanco Slate J

Strength: 7

Perception: 6 (8) hat +1, Four Eyes Perk +1 (w/glasses)

Endurance: 6

Charisma: 2

Intelligence: 6

Agility: 7 (8)

Luck: 6

Perks: Four Eyes, Small Frame (+1 Agility)

Now I do the first part of the tutorial (shooting bottles), and the Next Part as well, going to all 3 wells and shooting Geckos.

You get more ammo, and when you rescue the girl from Geckos you get fame, and if you follow the girl (after ending tutorial) back to town, she will sometimes get attacked by a bad guy. If you kill him you get some more ammo and weapons.

Now I go up to cemetery as in the video, and attract a giant scorpion, kill him at the enclosed grave. After he is dead, I attract another one. If you are lucky you can get another giant scorpion to come. This can be a bit dangerous, but you don’t need to if you don’t want to, but when I start using the glitch with 2 giant scorpions I seem to get way more XP, as I put the box in between the 2, and just use one of the scorpions to do the glitch.

Now you can do the glitch anyway you want as far as perks go, but try to take perks that have high values (over 80) first, then you don’t have to make any of your states over 80 for the final part.

This is how I made my sniper character Mirage.

Scorpion Glitch (first 20 perks)

  • Intense Training (+1 Intelligence)
  • Intense Training (+1 Intelligence)
  • Toughness
  • Toughness
  • Living Anatomy
  • Silent Running
  • Sneering Imperialist
  • Long Haul
  • Concentrated Fire
  • Grim Reaper’s Sprint
  • Meltdown
  • Jury Rigging
  • Laser Commander
  • Hit the Deck
  • The Professional
  • Gunslinger
  • Commando
  • Finesse
  • Weapon Handling
  • Grunt

Now I saved the game, and headed out of town. You will get option to Rebuild Character

Put all points into Intelligence (10) everything else will be 5

I picked Kamakaze and Trigger Discipline as my 2 Perks

Now you level up to 40 again and start putting points in, I spread them out even into everything except Melee and Unarmed… leave those alone until the end.

Now the next 20 Perks

  • Intense Training (Endurance +1=6)
  • Educated
  • Intense Training (Endurance +1=7)
  • Intense Training (Endurance +1=8)
  • Intense Training (Endurance +1=9)
  • Intense Training (Perception +1=6)
  • Intense Training (Perception +1=7)
  • Intense Training (Agility +1=6)
  • Intense Training (Agility +1=7)
  • Intense Training (Luck+1=6)
  • Intense Training (Luck+2=7)
  • Solar Powered
  • Sniper
  • Friend of the Night
  • Black Widow
  • Better Criticals
  • Comprehension
  • Action Girl
  • Action Girl
  • Nerves of Steel

Now you are done. Save. I ended up with all skills 80 except melee and Unarmed those are around 50. But when you find the skill books you should end up with pretty much everything at 100. And you stats will go up as well with implants and items.

I know all of this has been talked about before, but I thought a bit of explanation and maybe some pointers would help some people out.

You can of course use the glitch to make any type of character you want… Melee, Explosives, Jack of All Trades…. Etc… you just have to plan it out a bit so you have enough skill points
