Introduction:
Welcome to Hunted: The Demon's Forge, a dungeon crawling action RPG video game introduced by inXile (creator of A Bard's Tale) and published by Bethesda. In this game, you have the choice to play as Caddoc, a male human warrior, or E'lara, a female elf ranger, and embark upon a journey to solve the mystery of a pale-skinned woman's projection by the name of Seraphine.

With a style not so dissimilar from Gears of War in its sprint, cover, and battle system, Hunted: The Demon's Forge introduces a wonderful experience both with a friend or alone and challenges old time fantasy game stereotypes with its unique magic system and lack of inventory. Not only that, but the game features several secret areas that the player must always be on the lookout for and plenty of rewards should one find them.

Overall, if you are reading this, you are clearly interested in Hunted: The Demon's Forge and, most likely, fully beating this game. Below is information I have gathered by myself and from research online (duly credited), all compiled, and cleanly writ in an attempt to help guide you to your 100%.

Happy gaming.

Step 1:
Hunted: The Demon's Forge is a game that offers reloads of chapters (and spots within chapters). Because of this, the order in what you collect and how you do it is not so important. I'll be writing this with the assumption you are starting from the beginning, however, so please keep that in mind as you follow my guide.

Firstly, start a new game and /do not/ skip the tutorial. The tutorial is recommended not skipped due to it having crystals and a deathstone body there, which you have to get to score those related achievements. All of the collection based achievements are detailed below.

VERY IMPORTANT: This game has an achievement that is based on whether you drink "sleg" or not. Please keep in mind that once you drink it, you will have to start from the beginning if you want the achievement where you did not. I recommend NOT drinking it on this playthrough so you can get the harder part over with early.

Step 2:
Assuming you did not drink the sleg last playthrough, load up the last chapter and play through it, only drink the sleg this time. It's recommended you do this with the character you did not originally play through (i.e. if you played E'lara, use Caddoc). That way, the last chapter's boss achievements will unlock for you as well. At this point, when you finish, you should have both sleg-based achievements as well as Chapter Six's boss achievements for both characters. Congratulations.

VERY IMPORTANT: Do not start a New Game+ after you beat the game once unless you are willing to completely restart your characters (only your gold count remains). All progress on your character progression, deathstones, crystals, and dragon tears are reset upon a New Game+.

Conclusion:
This game should not give you too much trouble to 100%. The only real grind is the length of each chapter and ensuring you have all the necessary collectibles. Keeping a counter to offset this is incredibly important because there is no indication in the game of where and whether you are missing anything. Otherwise, Hunted: The Demon's Forge is a very easy thousand.

A wargar should be knelt near a cover-system area to your left. After killing the kneeling wargar, run forward to the end of the corridor and look past the walled area in front of you. You should see two fleeing wargar. Shoot them down.

Your first opportunity to get this achievement is in Chapter One. There are several secret areas in the game that contain purple-ish, shining cages. Break one of these open (hopefully you get a purple glowing weapon), and there's your achievement. A few offered locations in Chapter One are writ below:

Location One for Epic Quality Weapon: Reference collectibles guide.

Location Two for Epic Quality Weapon: Reference collectibles guide.

When you discover at least six secret locations (all possible in Chapter One and will be detailed below in the collection section of this guide), your character unlocks the ability to equip two weapons. At this point, use the locations for epic weapons written just above and equip two purple weapons. All done.

One of the best locations to get this achievement is in Chapter 2.3. As you are continuing through the game, you will come across a crane platform. As you go down, look for the explosive containers with at least three wargar near them and blow them up.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1398/5-l6daI=.jpg (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../game/hunted-the-demons-forge/achievement/53006-Rampage.html)Rampage (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../game/hunted-the-demons-forge/achievement/53006-Rampage.html)15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png Kill 20 Wargar before the crane platform gets to the bottom in the Dungeons of Dyfed
(http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../game/hunted-the-demons-forge/achievement/52995-Boots-and-a-Handbag.html)The kaboom achievement just above is a great method on getting this. As you are being lowered on the crane platform in Chapter 2.3, try to kill as many wargar as you can. Utilizing the explosive barrels and attempting to get as many wargar around them before detonation also helps. Auburok and I got this achievement by sending Caddoc on the platform and having him firebomb the lower level and using E'lara snipe the top level.

This is definitely easiest on casual mode. In the forest in Chapter 5.1, you'll come across a hill where a flechette gun (arrow gun) is positioned at the top. It's facing down the length of a bridge. Simply have your partner protect you while you shoot down the oncoming enemies. Eventually, you'll kill 15 and the achievement will pop. This achievement only unlocks for the player shooting down the enemy.

This is definitely easiest in casual mode with E'lara. In Chapter 5.2, you'll come across a wide desert-like area where you see two flying eyeballs and some wargar. Above them, at the very far end of your screen, you should see a wargar mounted on a ballistae. Either have a very strong bow equipped or have Caddoc battle charge you, aim at the eye, and shoot it down. Note that you cannot be too close, or else you will alert the enemies to your presence. This achievement only unlocks for the player shooting down the enemy.

you don't need two playthroughs, I answered one question here http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=313537 and this is how I got all boss achievements along with drink or not to drink Sleg as well with only one real playthrough

I did it another way, played the whole game with Elara, no drinks, got all boss achievements with her and the "not to drink" achievement.

Then I loaded each level's last chapter, choose Cadoc, beat all the bosses and it also gives you all boss related achievements, and in level 5 in last chapter you start right in front of a sleg, drink it, continue on loading last chapters, beat all the bosses with him and you'll get all boss related achievements with him along with "to drink" achievement.
It worked for me this way so try it out

Sorry for my english, I hope you all understand what I wrote

OK, for the 'LF1M Dungeon Crawl' achievement, I've published a map to Live for people to use.

It's 25 roooms of 3 waves of 3 spider chargers, they're the weakest enemies available, and 3 waves of 3 is the lowest you can do.

For now, look under the 'recently published' tab for 'Grumftheld', then choose my map called 'Attack Before Dusk'.

It'll take you about an hour to run through, and you can do it on your own easily.

Just thought I'd throw it up because it's easier to use that than make your own (which takes a good 2o minutes or so at least).

Chapter One finished. I'll go back through when I'm more awake and add the relevant maps from the actual guide. Please let me know if I missed something.

Also, I'll add prologue later. It isn't forgotten.

Updates Thus Far:
Edited roadmap information to adjust difficulty and amount of hours required to 1000.
Also edited playthroughs required to account for shorter method to get both sleg achievements, credit given above.
Added chapter one information under collectibles.

Unfortunately, without a map, it's really, really hard for us to keep track of where stuff is. There's a Brady Guide that's posted on this forum, too, and even that's missing a bunch of shit. We may end up fixing those, or making crude maps based on them just to point where things are.

This game is collectable hell, considering all the cut off points in the game: about 10+ times a level, you will pass through an area you can't backtrack from. Hopefully we can get this guide in good shape within a week, but if you're waiting, I think there's a good chance it'll be done in a few weeks.

Yeah uhm you should change the 10-15 hours for 1000... give people a much more realistic impression, talking at least 20 hours. Especially now before people can just spam guide use and also people will likely want to do a second playthrough instead of using a guide the first time through since it kinda ruins the fun of puzzles and stuff...

WTH?!?!?! you do know people do not have to look at the guide if they do not want help or prefer to do a 1st playthrough legit, 10-15 sounds about right especially since now there is a collectibles guide and Methods for money and beating each boss with different character....................

It is, in fact, the mandate of the site, the guides and Road Map are to be written to help ANYONE get ALL ACHIEVEMENTS AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. Hell, it even says in the Roap Map writing guide that the time is meant to be stated as The time for a skillied player to the time for a novice. The guides are written purely for steamrolling through the game, at no point does it say or are guide writers expected to adjust times for a hypothetical possibility of someone wanting to take their time.

If you charge through the game, only getting achievements, you can do it in 10-15 hours, end of story. That's the point of the guide, that's the point of the site. Someone who wants to take their time doesn't need a guide for procrastination.

Also, we're not actually here to provide maps and guides for anything that isn't achievement related. Of course we can and often do anyway, but it is not required in any way. Only information required for getting achievements ASAP is needed.

Now, you can say we're making a big deal out of nothing, but then again, so are you, as you are complaining over a non existant problem and utterly irrelevant minor detail. We're just trying to explain how this is the way the guides are meant to be written.

True, but at that point, if you like the game enough, a guide isn't needed. This is for the people that like the game enough to play it once or twice or don't have the time for combing the dungeon. The achievement guide, while finished, is just an achievement guide. The collectable guide isn't done yet (and since the Brady Guide isn't accurate, there's really no guide yet for all the collectables), but that's what will be referenced for those specific achievements, like in any other guide, and could even be used by itself without use of the achievement guide. It's supplement. You're taking this too personally.

If you have a better way, feel free to make your own guide. I got plenty of achievements without a guide and hardly playing, and I'm sure you did, too. It's obviously not impossible. I don't understand why this argument stemmed from you thinking people should take longer to enjoy the game.

Relax. It's a forum.

For shattering shields, and kills from explosive barrels, do you know if those be done in crucible as well? The achievement description doesn't specify adventure mode.

We're not entirely sure. The good news: as long as the game saves (red symbol on the side) after you've make kills or break shields, it will save, even if you replay the level. I can confirm this, because I have 1357 melee kills after reloading chapter 3.

I don't recommend barrel kills for Crucible at any rate; town entry is the only map with them, and there's only 3. It's sort of a pain to get the AI to get near them, too. Many parts of single player set you up for them.

The jury's out for now. We'd have to make new accounts unless someone specifically only plays crucible and tests it for us (I might do it if I get bored in a day or two).

Ok, thanks. Yes, I wouldn't focus on the barrels in crucible but a few times an archer will position themselves by the one near the exit and i've killed him with it.

I'm thinking that the achievement is written in that manner to suit a solo player, so they don't feel that both characters have to drink the sleg (you can't make the AI do it, after all, I'm pretty sure). If you guys want to trade sleg fun, though, write down what chapters and who drank when and where so you have it on hand in case the achievement doesn't unlock. Just redoing that area in the chapter rewrites it, so you won't have to redo the entire campaign.

I'd recommend you make a separate post on the forum though to be sure. I'm willing to bet you'd be fine, but... I don't want to bet your time like that.

Nice guide! I have 1 suggestion just looking over it. Maybe you should include the chapter and sections of the specific achievements incase people miss it on their first playthrough. For example the minotaur achievement is in 4.3 and right when you load it up you're pretty much in the spot you said in the guide. Also the dragon one is in 6.2 just keep going til they run into the sleg infected prisoner like you said. Even with the guide its possible someone will miss it and want to go back to reload it. Or maybe people will look to the guide just for these specific achievements so having this info couldn't hurt.

and by the way, how many crystal must be found ? and how to check that ?

Already had the former offered as a tip to me by another guy in the collectibles thread. Here was Auburok's reply about that which covers my thoughts thoroughly enough:

The guide's not done, and we're taking a break. When it's done, each chapter will tell how many of each collectable are there. If you're insinuating adding a counter to each sub chapter, that's just a lot of unneeded text to an already long guide. The only way you can be sure you didn't miss a collectable is to go through the whole chapter, since there's no counters for each chapter or subchapter in the game. The only thing that's easy to jump around chapters for is dragon tears, since there's substantially less of those to collect, which we may add a footnote somewhere about specific chapter locations you can load up to get them. Someone using this guide from the start, though, would find that useless.

You can't do the additional tracker thing for crystal shards, which are counted for the achievement, so we have to decide if putting a counter in will throw people off when they end a chapter and have one or two extra crystals, and exactly how many crystals can be made from shards each level (we're not sure if it's the same for each level).

So yeah, we'll figure that out in a bit. Let us know if you find any word/grammar errors, though, in the mean time.

And my reply made at the time (obviously more chapters and counters now):

I already have counters up at this point for chapters 1 and 2.

Also, Auburok already wrote why I don't plan to do specific counting after each collectible, but to reiterate, I found this would become more confusing (not even the official guide counts them, though that thing is messed up in a lot of things it has), and... well, you can't really count a lot of it. Best to just keep a notepad open on your comp or a piece of paper and mark it down.

In regards to crystal counting, you may as well not keep track of it. You gather crystal shards from killing enemies, so your count is going to be way off any required number. I believe the achievement counts the caged shards you find as "all crystals collected."

Still trying to find out if the shards count. If I read the achievement word for word and take it literally, they shards don't count, but I'm still going to recommend everyone pick up the shards as they only drop once by enemies (thus alluding that they could be part of the consideration for the achievement).

In another post someone said that they were missing 1 crystal but had a couple shards of an unfinished crystal. This leads me to believe that only a certain number of crystal shards drop in each chapter/section because if they weren't specific to areas he could just kill a couple guys anywhere to get the missing shards and I'm sure he probably tried that. It also leads me to believe that the shards do count for the achievement not just the whole crystals because if he is just missing 1 crystal but is missing a couple shards he must have all the whole crystals. Unfortunately there's no real way to confirm this unless maybe the guy finds the last couple shards and gets the achievement. I guess we can only hope that he does.

I'll repost what I had in the other thread about this:

IDiivil and I are trying to figure that out. My theory personally was that the shards are bonus crystals, and don't count toward the achievement. However, now that we're going through the areas again to write the collectable guide, I've noticed the shards don't appear anymore, but rather their outlines do, like any crystal you collected before.

This leads me to believe that, yes, they count, but they are harder to miss than normal ones since enemies will usually not be hidden. That's what's making the collectable guide a bitch, because the player will have to keep in mind to pick up shards.

So, like any other crystal you've collected before in the little canisters, shards will "drop" again if you've collected them. They will have the same appearance as those previously collected canister ones: ghostly. They do indeed count.

I havent replied much but this one warrents it. I dont want to offend, but the point of the whoe website is to help get your achevs fast and easy. so if youre on the site then youre looking for the quick way to 1000. If youre looking to playthrough normal you wouldent be here, or at least you shouldnt.

For a convenient way to get "Life Support" (seeing as my teammate never when down) play split screen on chapter 1.6, hardcore/old school difficulty. There's a regen vial right before the boss fight if you don't have any. Once the fight starts, take cover behind the pillar and move your afk teammate into the archer's fire. Use a vial when they go down and refill (when needed) from the 3 vials surrounding the arena. Then just kill the rest of the enemies and and the boss. Keep one vial if you're afraid your teammate might go down before you take the boss out.

Probably obvious, but the place with kaboom and rampage is also a good place to farm the is something burn, if you're lucky you can get 5 to 6 barrel kills between the three spots, not sure if pyre shot takes away kills from the barrel to I'd recommend just shooting the barrels with an arrow to be on the safe side

Could I make a couple of suggestions?

For achievement "Life Support" it doesn't say whether or not after you've used all available vials to revive your companion, dying and reloading checkpoint records those uses towards the achievement total. I wasn't sure when I did this method, so I played it safe by killing the boss each time. BUT, when you do this, it records your current state which is 0 revive potions, so you then need to do a solo run of the boss on casual just to fill up all your revive potions again. I did this as E'lara as it is easier to kill everything as her, and ended up going:

Hardcore run-9 revives (3 on me, 3 on Caddoc, 3 around the level)- spammed high level pyre blast to kill everything (also had full mana potions to make this easier)
Casual run to fill up potions
Hardcore run-6 revives (I had a handful from during normal play.

My lovely convoluted point is that I may well have gone through those runs for nothing, so it will be good for others in the future (especially solo players like me) if this is cleared up one way or the other :)

Other small suggestion, for achievement "Is something burning?" perhaps just quickly add that the best place to grind this achievement is level 2.3 (Crane room). Just load it up, jump on the platform, and you can get a good 6 or 7 kills per run from the barrels at least. Once you get to the bottom and get off the platform, you can get 1 more kill from blowing up the huge pile of explosives to let your partner through, then just follow the spirit guide and once you do the 'B' partner movement, you hit a checkpoint with autosave, then you can do it over again. Takes 2 minutes per run.

I know it should be common sense really, but you'd be surprised at what some players will overlook or never think of during play. A quick explanation to say to use 2.3, get to the checkpoint and autosave, rinse and repeate will make all the difference. Also, I know it might seem a bit odd to even need this at all, but I played the bulk of the game solo as Caddoc, and never really spent time shooting explosives when going through the campaign, so I never racked any up during normal play. There may well be other Caddoc players out there that did this too.

I know these both seem pretty obvious really, I got by them easy enough, I'm sure others will too, but some people, well, let's just say they'd struggle to come up with alternatives if it's not laid out for them clear, plain and simple. Just a thought.

the shard drops are not random, however you can add this achievement under glitched achievements in the roadmap and add the total amount for each collectible under the respective achievement: e.g. crystal clear 132 crystals. yeah i know that you can see them ingame, but the guide is also made for ones who read through a guide and then decide to buy/rent a game :)

And always listen to Cra, his guides are absolutely badass :)

6/10 difficulty seems a bit high if you can play on casual throughout and on co-op. Also apparently the game's been recently updated so it has more checkpoints and healing potions.

Why don't you add a poll to your first post/roadmap and find the average vote? I just think a 6 seems a bit steep.

Also I'm not nagging here but the achievements have to be layed out like so:

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1487/5-pyouM=.jpg (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../game/red-faction-armageddon/achievement/52587-That-Coulda-Gone-Better.html)That Coulda Gone Better (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../game/red-faction-armageddon/achievement/52587-That-Coulda-Gone-Better.html) 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png
Finish the Single Player game on Hard Difficulty.

Refer to the I Need A Nap achievement.

So the achievement's description needs to be under the achievement's picture. Also you may need to space the gamerscore away from the achievements name. I am just saying this because it may help you when you submit it(if you haven't already).

Anyway Brilliant guide very detailed.

It might be a bit easier now, but with all the collectible problems many people have been having even with a guide, it'll probably drop down to a 5 for the "average" user. So far about a third have no problems at all, a third can't find one item for the longest time, and a third can't find the shards. It's not really the gameplay that's had an adverse effect on the score. It's the trouble with crystals and the like, and the apparent effort needed to get them all, and go back and miss the prisoners that get killed, etc.

She knows. I told her when we were packing up for Los Angeles. She's just been busy; she's currently out on another job as I type this, and the guide's still useful as is. Submitting is not a priority for her, mostly because it involved a lot of work to meet sort of odd standards just so you don't have to click on "forums" to see her guide.

cra

yep a 5 would be ok imo. concerning the "odd standard" for submission, this concerns only how to submit a guide. if you prefer another order in the forum thats ok( and thats what i'll always do). However once we process a guide to upload to the site, it is plain annoying to scroll and search the achievement you are to add to the site as we can't change the order. No offense meant, just trying to explain the work.

you can even use coloring in guide, but expect that it might be removed for the main site :)

edit: maybe if i am really bored i do the extra work and pull the guide from the forum directly to the site once the 30days after release are over...we'll see. a formatted guide submission would still be preferred ;)

Why don't the guide staff do this anyway? Also i thought the one month period had been lifted I read Pants saying it.

Edit:You may need to add that AI revives on you count as a revive because i was assuming they don't count.

well, because you can't expect the staff to look through roughly 2000forums to inspect a guide, judge if it is ok or not and then do the annoying part of searching for each achievement you have to add in order the site displays. a game with only 10 achievements is no deal, but something like dead rising with 50 or orange box with more than 50 are so time consuming that you don't want to do that.

to format a guide properly, upload and more stuff in the background you are busy from 1h-3h. remember, we do this in our free time and most of us have a job+real life+girlfriend/wife who all take a higher priority. hope you understand why we are glad to have the author do their job and we do ours. just as a sidenote, we did/are doing this now for some games who are "old" and still have no submission for a guide.

:-P.

So about that 30 day rule has it been lifted? Just wanted to know because I recently submitted a guide for a game that's been out for two weeks or so. Just read Pants saying it's been lifted but it doesn't say whether it has or has not anywhere else.

On topic: Gave up on the collectibles just not worth it :-P great collectibles guide and all just takes too much time. I may also just give up on the game unless I find a partner it's just so boring lol. It would have been so much better if they would have cut the chapters into shorter levels. It just feels so monotonous without any breaks.

Does it get better?

Edit: Can you add how much gold you are expected to reach after finishing your first playthrough?

Ok I have a qeustion for the achievements with Cooperatively in the description. Does this mean you have to play with a real life partner or does it mean you can just get them with your AI partner and for example get the kill together???

there is no way 196 collectibles is going to take you less than 20 hrs
I want what your having if you think you can finish this game in 10-15

just for the record, EliteEdawg420 and I did this online co-op and we took 40hrs to 1k this game (according to raptr) we are both fairly skilled players and followed your text guide for collectibles...

so you may want to adjust the time advice a little

Wut? It took us like 20 hours of total game time, including replaying the game on New Game + (we didn't get all of the collectibles the first time around, but IDiivil needed to write the guide) to 1000 it. This includes playing two levels twice (stupid prisoners). That's not counting time we left the game on to get food/drinks/take a break while playing the game.

Keep in mind: Raptr counts time standing around in game.

awesome guide, i'm a work on this after i catch up with la noire dlc.

i think the time guide looks pretty accurate for such a linear rpg and for players who are no strangers to linear rpgs, running around with a pretty good know of the levels shouldn't take that long. You don't include your run which you did at your own pace for fun/cutscenes because we'd have exceptionally varying timescores then.

above statment based on cutscenes being skippable or not that long to begin with.

i'm also amused at the op being nerdworshipped xp, being another girl myself, who plays games xD. haha i'm amazed that guys are still that surprised girls can play and write cool guides.

good to see ai coop is confirmed for achievement unlocks, finding a partner over live for this trek doesn't sound fun. esp not for gold grinding.

one really needs a collectible guide, and if one follows (your) text guide, it becomes quite a long game, reading... playing... deciding weather one has gone to far and should just restart... and without a map and/or in game collectible marker not knowing what your missing at the end there is quite a high level of paranoia... and this is not just our experience

we have another pair of friends who are also 25+ hrs in to the game with plenty left to go

anyway thanks for a good guide

I can confirm that you can do this game within that time frame. I had to do another run for the crystals this past weekend. I finished it in a day and a half, with breaks, chit chatting, etc... I simply used Casual mode and followed the collectible guide. The only thing I have left is the crucible, which shouldn't take long. The time listed is really for a speed run, not for casually playing. Perhaps that's what the difference is?

IDiivil: Thanks again for the guides. :)

Defeating Annuvin as Caddoc is easily one of the dumbest moments in a video game I have ever experienced. The boss fight in general is just flat out dumb and there is zero way to actually melee him. The skeletons spawn ridiculously fast and the AI controlling E'lara is retarded. She just sits in the back picking her wedgie. Meanwhile, I am doing zero damage to Annuvin and it never prompts me to knock down the pillars, which by the way, took me my second time through after dying out the first time before I even realized that is what I was supposed to do.

I literally have no desire to bother at this point. I don't get it. Beating it with E'lara wasn't that bad but this, this is flat out dumb.

Huh? What's that have to do with the guide? You're a bit minimalist, but this is the only comparative situation for you:

Just wanna say... Nice guide! Thank you very much for sharing ^_^

I also find out playing as E'Lara, you can "blind shot" people when they are at medium/close range. It makes things easier. (You don't have to aim in order to shoot. Just make enemy you wanna shoot in the center of the screen and press the Right Trigger.)

Also, my play style is to charge in and shoot people up... So I always have a medium speed bow, and a slow bow. I shoot my slow bow first and while it's recharging, I press Right Analog Stick to switch weapon to medium speed bow, and shoot twice and switch back to slow speed bow. If done correctly, I think this way can deal out the most damage!! Yeah you have to first unlock Backup weapon by finding 6 secrets though!~

And also, if you're using blind shot. You can still shoot people behind Caddoc! If you are aiming by yourself, you have to really have patient and wait for your crosshair to turn red in order to damage someone, or else, it's not gonna deal damage... It'll be count as "blocked by Caddoc"

This is a great guide, wish I had found it before I started in co-op and skipped the tutorial. I don't know why it hasn't been stickied and put in the Achievement Guide section but it should.

Putting it in the achievement guide section would require me to reformat the achievement list (which totally removes the by-chapter list and general organization I put in) as well as ... well, going through the process of submitting it.

Because I've been too lazy to go back and color code the collectibles, I can't imagine I'd be not-lazy enough to go through that process too.

I dunno. I'm bored today. I might. Color coding is something I'm not a big fan of, though, so I may skip that. I have too many color blind friends.

got a couple questions if anyone can help.

1.the cheevo 'is something burning' states to kill 20 enemies with exploding barrels, i haven't got this but have most certainly killed more than 20 enemies with exploding barrels. is this known to be glitched? also can i just re-play chapter 2.3 with the crane and get say 3 kills by exploding barrels get to a checkpoint and those kills save, then re-load the chapter 2.3 again and get more and they will continue to rack up?

2.the cheevos 'raise the not quite dead' and 'ice queen', which are, respectively, to cooperatively kill 50 levitating enemies, and cooperatively kill 50 frozen enemies, does it matter which character you play as? ive deffinately killed 50 enemies frozen by an A.I. E'lara, as Caddock but no cheevo so im thinking i should be doing the freezing and an A.I. Caddock kills enemies ive frozen. also for the 'raise the not quite dead' im thinking i should be doing the levitating as Caddock with E'lara shooting enemies down. if someone could shed a bit of light on this i would certainly appreciate it.

For something burning just replay chapter 2.3 but make sure you go on top the checkpoint where you past through the gap for the kills count, then, go back and start the chapter again from main menu.

For the freezing one' and raise the not quite dead.
Just keep playing. I got both playing as E'lara. I often waited for the enemy to attack Caddoc then froze them so he could then smash them and whenever Caddoc lifted the characters up tried to shoot them. Make sure you've got the right weapon/ magic skills set up for each character if playing with AI. They didn't pop until final chapter when you've probably got both character neally fully upgraded and the spells work longer.

I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, so forgive me if it is common knowledge.

I have found that all the achievements are REALLY REALLY easy on new game+ with some of the bonus stuff unlocked.

If you use unlimited mana, replenishing Health, hard to kill, replenishing arrows, and 1 shot kills.... You are practically invincible. It also makes achievements like Rampage and eye for an eye, super easy as everything dies in one shot.

I am replaying through the game to mop up achievements (and find some missing crystals), and so far I have gotten Ice queen (just shoot everything Caddoc attacks with an ice arrow before he kills it and it eventually pops.), and Rampage (I just spammed my explosive arrows(whatever they are called) and when I finally ran out of mana I spammed regular arrows and acted like I had a machine gun. Easily popped on first try.

I am not sure how the one shot kill works on bosses, but I am hopping this makes the final boss an easy kill as caddoc, because that is my last non-crystal related achievement.

EDIT: Killing the last boss (and all others) using this method was INSANELY EASY. One hit, then knock down a pillar, one hit, knock down, etc. Skeletons couldn't touch me.

It also helped immensely with getting all the crystals, because it gave me 10-15 at the start of my game. Making my final count a nice 168.

So, If you are having trouble with any of the achievements... I highly recommend using this method!

Thanks to your awesome guide I now have 99 games completed 100%!! Your collection guide was a life-saver.

One tip I'd like to add is if you don't drink the sleg on 1st run, go kill 1st 4 bosses w/opposite character. On 5th boss there's a sleg section before the boss fight. Drink up, kill everyone, then do the boss fight. Then kill last boss for sleg achievement. This is much faster than replaying all of 6th level.

Thanks again for the great guide and looking forward to any more you two make!
