I had 100 points left over and figured what the hell and bought a key to use to make the deck you start with foil. :p

It makes all uncommon, rare, and mythic cards foiled in case anyone wondered. Pretty cool looking.

Also I had to restart the game to get it to register my key correctly.

I bought a key with leftover points to unlock the white deck in the beginning.

I was getting stomped game after game; after 6 games of terrible luck, I saw the key and bought it.

Nah, the fun part is unlock cards and fit them into your deck, game after game imo

Yeah but you can buy a key and have foil versions. That's what I bought, it didn't unlock anything for me. I can say BLING BLING when I toss out my foiled angels ;)

I would agree about unlocking them without keys, but losing that many games in a row was simply stupid. Your first opponents deck is almost stacked against your first two choices.

I don't think so. I lost the first game due to having like 10 lands, but after that it was simple. I tore through half of the first campaign set with it without losing after the first match. I'm pretty invincible with the starting white deck now that its maxed :P I took out the archenemy in a online game basically by myself with it.

No thx it's a waste of money. Would rather save my points for another game.

If you buy a key before you unlock all the cards, do the cards you haven't unlocked yet become foil?

Yes they do. I was wondering that as well, but as soon as it applied, I still had a few cards shown under 'locked' and they were all foiled before and after I unlocked them.

Does having the cards foiled do anything? stat wise of just it just make em look nice.

It's just for looks, cards don't get any effects changed when foil.

i had 100 spare points too so i unlocked all the cards in the green deck you get at the first. it has some pretty beastly creatures. was thinking about unlocking white also. in the real game im building a green, red, white deck with artifacts.

I was going to but I would rather get them the old fashioned way

It should be if you get 100 wins with the deck the cards become foil or something.
