I sent a scout out for the shortest time for man united to Argentina and got a report back after 4 weeks and he came back with 3 players but was 16 year old cb with a rating of 75 with a potential of 91 so I snapped him up for £25,000 with a weekly wage of £500 BARGAIN.

I've just finished the first Transfer Window of the first Season as Player Manager of Blackburn, so here are a few I found:

John Smith - GK - Free Transfer - Attribute Rating 77:
After I Signed him he was Valued at around £2,300,000 and was much better than my 2nd Choice Keeper. If you've messed around in the Arena, John Smith is likely to be the Goalkeeper you were playing against. He has a very distictive look much like the famous Rene Higuita shown in the Video below.

Rene Higuita Scorpion save - YouTube

Markus Henriksen - CM - Rosenborg - Attrubute Rating 75:
A 19 Year Old Physical Midfielder who was valued at around £7,500,000. I was considering Signing him before the Transfer Window closed but his Overall Rating increased to 76 and his price susequently increased to £10,500,000.

Jordan Ayew - ST/RW/LW - Marseille - Attribute Rating 75:
Another 19 Year Old with seemingly endless potential. His amazing Pace will have troubled many Players of the FIFA 12 Demo and he is also Left Footed.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It would be great if more of the FIFA 12 Forum Users could contribute to this Thread. It has so far received over a thousand views but very few people are Posting their bargain Players for the rest of the Community to consider.

Picked up Theo Walcott (albeit in a crappy formation) for 700 coins last night.

Put him straight up for sale, and he went for 18,000 coins :woop:

I have started in my season of career mode with Derby County, business wise i had a very successful window. I signed players who were either past there peak and therefore relatively cheap, or young players who havnt reached their potential yet, as a result of being Derby County were a little on the skint side.
Anyways i bought -
Experienced (Past Peak)
- Andrew Johnson
- Micheal Owen
- Danny Murphy
- Liam Ridgewell
- Stephen Ward

Along with a few upcoming talents (Pre peak)
- Ross Barkley
- Jake Livermore
- Jack Robinson (Loan)

These are the players who i found to be good value for money, especially the older ones to which are far easier to bargain for and get for a better price.

I've now finished the first Season with Blackburn in Player Manager Career Mode so here's the updated Attribute Growth of some of my young Players:

Jordan Slew, +2, From 61 to 63, 2nd Team, Whole Season
Adam Henley, +2, From 64 to 66, 2nd Team, Whole Season

Sami Khedira, +2, From 81 to 83 (Real Madrid), 1st Team, Whole Season
Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson, +2, From 74 to 76 (Lillestrom), 1st Team, Whole Season
Serge Aurier, +2, From 64 to 66 (RC Lens), 2nd Team, Whole Season
Ignasi Miquel, +2, From 63 to 65 (Arsenal), 2nd Team, Whole Season
Leandro Bittencourt, +2, From 64 to 66 (FC Energie Cottbus), 2nd Team, 12 Appearences

That list is brilliant, just click the 'Growth' tab to see which players improve the most, and should be cheapest to buy early on.

I just finished my Player Manager Game with Blackburn after playing the Champions League Final Vs Barcelona:
See Video Below:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTT9BPAiGp8

I've now started a West Ham Game where I've put everyone up for Sale on the first Day to try and buy loads of Players with great potential (of 80+), as SemperVerus posted in Post #10.

I've already sold Carlton Cole and Noble and bought the previosuly mentioned Markus Henriksen for £9,610,000 who in my last Career Mode improved by +5 in the first Season (75 to 80) and was then valued at £18,000,000. Not bad when the Database shows that he has the potential to reach an 85 Rating!

I've just finished the first Transfer Window of a new Career Mode with West Ham as previously mentioned, trying to sell everyone to buy Players with big potential.

Here's my new West Ham Team:

GK - Smithies - 66 - Huddersfield - £1,800,000 - Potential = 82 (+16)
RB - De Vrij - 69 - Feyenoord - £3,400,000 - Potential = 83 (+14)
LB - Daprela - 67 - Brescia - £2,210,000 - Potential = 83 (+16)
CB - Caldirola - 69 - Inter Milan - £3,260,000 - Potential = 85 (+16)
CB - Benedetti - 64 - Gubbio - £6,100,000 - Potential = 86 (+22)
RM - Henriksen - 75 - Rosenborg - £9,610,000 - Potential = 85 (+10)
LM - Redmond - 64 - Birmingham - £1,910,000 - Potential = 81 (+17)
CM - Fernando - 70 - Gremio - On Loan (Future Fee Agreed Of £5,310,000) - Potential = 87 (+17)
CM - Signorelli - 57 - Empoli - £1,750,000 - Potential = 83 (+26)
ST - Virtual Pro
ST - Leandro - 71 - Gremio - £6,610,000 - Potential = 84 (+13)

Some of them weren’t my first choice of Players to sign but so many of the Players who are listed on the FIFA 12 Database of having Potential of +15 or more had only just joined the Club they were at so it was impossible to purchase them.

Hopefully, given plenty of first Team Football, playing well and winning Games most of them will reach close to their maximum potential within a couple of Seasons and then I will be looking at some very high valued Players which I can sell on to buy more well known Players. Ideally I would like to bring Tevez and possibly Mascherano back to West Ham at the start of Season 3 if possible, we’ll see!

I signed a 17 year old Canadian boy for 1.000 a week. When I signed him he was 70. Now he's 74, on about 3/4 of the season.

MikeCorruption

Lucas Piazon, can be easily signed via a season long loan, he is rated 65 and his potential is 85 not only that he can perform all 4 star skill moves, not only that but his Stamina is 93 which means he can pretty much play every single match in a row and a whole match without tiring, he is a top class goalscorer and can grow into the future messi.

I picked up Jordan Ayew as well. 3rd season in, he's an integral bench player for my team and is up to an 80 overall. I'm playing as Liverpool and some of these other teams pull some Godfather-esque transfer deals for me. i.e. Deals I can't refuse. Sold Glen Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, & Leiva all for WAY more than they were valued at.

I also signed the De Vrij & Henrickson that Boomerang Cat had mentioned. Both players are in the lower 80's. I also signed Minuain (sp?) from Atletico Bilbao (I think). He's a 19 yr old left winger who is a 79.

My scouts must really suck ass, because the best i've gotten in my 3 years is a 68 CB and 2 66 RM's.

I play as Newcastle. In Season 1 I bought:
James Milner - Man C - CM - 10m
Michael Owen - Man U - ST - 2m (excellent buy)
Phillippe Coutinho - Inter - CAM - Season Loan (seriously get him, he's awesome)
Aaron Ramsey - Arsenal - CAM - Season Loan
Van der Wiel - Ajax - RB - 2m (I think, excellent fast defender)
Thiago - Barcelona - CM - Season Loan
John Smith - GK - Free Agent

2nd season I've bought:
Fredy Guarin - Porto - CAM - 5m
Cicero - Sao Paulo - CAM - 5m
Saviola - Benfica - ST - 14m (fantastic striker)
Honda - CSKA Moscow - CM - 24m (best player i've bought)
Yoon Bit Ga Ram - Gyeongnam FC - CM - 1m (potential player)
Bruno Alves - Zenit Saint Petersburg - CB - 12m
Phillippe Coutinho - Inter - CAM - Season Loan (again)

On west ham career mode I signed
- Jack Robinson-Liverpool-LB.
- Connor Coady-Liverpool-CDM (On Loan)
- Ravel Morrison-Man Utd-CAM (On Loan)
- Terence Kongolo-Feynoord-CB

In summer when promoted looking to sign
- Lucas Piazon-Sao Paulo-CAM
- Jordan Ayew-Marseille-ST
- Nathan Redmond-Birmingham-LM
Or
- Danny Rose-Tottenham-LM

Mario gotze 84 £24 million but if this is realistic it would be. Considering jack wilkshire is 82 and 21 years old while gotze is 84 and only 19 years old. Also the fact that wilkshire would sell for more than £24 million and he's older and not as highly rated as gotze that's why it's a bargain.

I can now Update my previous post of my first Season as Manager of West Ham in Career Mode where I sold the whole Squad to sign some of the best FIFA 12 young players, with potential of 80+ that were available.

GK - Smithies - 66 - Huddersfield - £1,800,000 - Potential = 82 (+16) - End Of Season = 70 (+4) - Value £3,000,000
RB - De Vrij - 69 - Feyenoord - £3,400,000 - Potential = 83 (+14) - End Of Season = 72 (+3) - Value £6,000,000
LB - Daprela - 67 - Brescia - £2,210,000 - Potential = 83 (+16) - End Of Season = 72 (+5) - Value £6,500,000
CB - Caldirola - 69 - Inter Milan - £3,260,000 - Potential = 85 (+16) - End Of Season = 75 (+6) - Value £7,500,000
CB - Benedetti - 64 - Gubbio - £6,100,000 - Potential = 86 (+22) - End Of Season = 69 (+5) - Value £9,000,000
RM - Henriksen - 75 - Rosenborg - £9,610,000 - Potential = 85 (+10) - End Of Season = 79 (+4) - Value £15,500,000
LM - Redmond - 64 - Birmingham - £1,910,000 - Potential = 81 (+17) - End Of Season = 70 (+6) - Value £4,500,000
CM - Fernando - 70 - Gremio - On Loan (Future Fee Agreed Of £5,310,000) - Potential = 87 (+17) - End Of Season = 73 (+3) - Value £7,000,000
CM - Signorelli - 57 - Empoli - £1,750,000 - Potential = 83 (+26) - End Of Season = 61 (+4) - Value £2,100,000
ST - Virtual Pro
ST - Leandro - 71 - Gremio - £6,610,000 - Potential = 84 (+13) - End Of Season = 74 (+3) - Value £9,500,000

These Attribute Growth results were gained by playing on World Class Difficulty and by winning every Match, including Cup Games.

I feel a little disappointed by some of the Players lack of growth, like De Vrij, Fernando and Signorelli given their potential but I'll wait to see what Transfer Budgets I'll recieve when I advance the Game into the next Season before deciding whether to replace them or not.

Signed Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for Chelsea for about £8m over his value

But what a signing he's turning out to be, gone from 68/69 rating to 71 in a short space of time, playing him on the right of a 433 that looks like:

AOC - Torres - Shaqiri

The wingers (who I signed in summer window) are actually the joint top scorers in the league ahead of Torres

Adam Lallana, who is part of my cup/European side/team, is proving to be a quality signing, rated 77 after about 10 cup games.

lol, I sold my Two quality Central Defenders for a combined £59,500,000 to partly fund the Deal for Lionel Messi.

As previously mentioned I sold Sorensen who starts at Juventus for £35,000,000 to Man Utd and I also sold Sakho who starts with PSG for £24,500,000 to Arsenal.

All of the good Left Backs like Ashley Cole are now really old in Season 5 and Fabio Daprela who I've had from the start has now developed into one of the best Left Backs in the World.

As for a bigger name Right Back the only Player I want for that Position is Micah Richards from Man City but unfortunately they won't accept any of my offers as they apparently don't have enough cover in that position. That situation has been the same for the last 2 Seasons!

Yes, he's a great Right Back who's physical and very fast. From memory I'm sure he's been at the Club just over 2 Seasons and I can't remember him having a single Injury during that time.

Hmm i might just sign him then, i have only one right back

Messi cost £102,000,000

You realise that £102,000,000 is incredibly cheap for Messi?

I have a career with Anzhi, the rich Russian side. Not only are they blessed with Eto'o up front, but they also have an awesome budget!

Team after one and a half seasons:
GK: Krul - 81
RB: Van der Wiel - 80
CB: Coates - 73
CB: Samba - 80
LB: Ansaldi - 81
CDM: Ahmedov - 77
CDM: Rafael Carioca - 81
RM: Boussoufa - 82
LM: Zhirkov - 81
CAM: Carlos Eduardo - 82
ST: Neymar - 89

Sub: Camporese - 73
Sub: Daprela - 69
Sub: Jucilei - 75
Sub: Oxlade-Chamberlain - 76
Sub: Guberti - 76
Sub: Dzyuba - 76
Sub: Movsisyan - 75

Sadly Eto'o demanded a transfer in the January transfer window, dealing a blow to my savings. However with the 54.5m euros (he's only valued 21m!), I spent an extra 10m and bought Neymar, who has been absolutely incredible, goals left right and centre.

Best buys (all prices in euros):
Neymar - 64.5m (he is fast, agile, and a great finisher)
Krul - 8m (kept me in games so many times this season, great shot stopper and pulls off some cracking saves)
Coates - Half season loan, buy out clause 5.5m (had already grown to rated 6m, he is a real unit, tall and strong and shrugs even the best off the ball)
Rafael Carioca - 13m (defensive midfielder with a bit of everything - great tackler, plays the ball forward well, good shooter too)
Movsisyan - 4.5m (best sub striker I could hope for, fast and tricky with a good shot on him)

A question though, my growth has been somewhat poor, in the first season only one of my side rose despite a 100% season, particularly annoyingly Daprela who was first choice, playing well and yet nothing. Second season has been better but I'm still a bit disappointed, any tips for better growth?

:uzi:I have found some smashing buys in fifa 12 :

Aydran 16 from brazil ( u can find him by searching cause he is only 16) 66 start potentail at least 85 and he is a great passer. best to leave him in brazil till he is 18

Lucas piazon again 16 brazil striker leave in brazil till he is 19 for best potential.

assassdi plays for heevereen sorry for spelling 77 to 3 in two season lw great player who never lets you down.

El Shaarwaary from ac milan buy him in first january window on loan with an option to buy for two million more than he is worth. by the time you buy him at end of season he is already worth double what u agreed.

Roberto Carlos is a classic buy who play dm or lb he doesnt loss points and is almost 0 cost. Last 2 years and is great sub or injurie cover.

Can anybody else tell me of more 16 year olds at first season ?

I have more deals if you would loke
Ps Hudderfeild goalkeaper is a must 66 to 83 and is solid great keeper

The link to the Database of FIFA 12 Players with big Potential found in Post #10 on Page 1 isn't working for me anymore?

Is it working for anyone else or has anyone discovered another reliable resource or Link?

Would really recommend buying Davide Santon from Newcastle. 10 mil Overall rated 75, potential 87. One of my favourite defenders on the game.

Got C.Ronaldo for £80.5m which is cheap in my opinion.
Picked up Shaqiri for £17.5m, only got him in Jan window so unsure if he was worth it yet.
ter Stegen obviously for £8.5m.
Ramos for £19m which is cheap.
Thiago Silva for £26.5m which I think is also cheap.
Hazard for £42.5m, not bad considering he was worth £41.5m.

Just a few players.

Aleix, is a speedy and young winger with about over 90 sprint speed and 90 stamina
May Mahalangu, (spelling may be incorrect) is a great all round cm
Igboun, Young striker with good sprint speed.
Nathan Redmond, a very young rm with good sprint speed and stamina
Frei, young Fulham winger good sprint speed starts of 68 and 17 years old and has a potential of going up to 78

Playing as Malaga and starting my second season this is my team:

Hart
Monreal Pique Chiellini Azipcuelta (BARGAIN RB and QUALITY)
Schweinsteiger Vidal Gotze
Messi
Jovetic Cavani

Subs:
GK: Malaga second goalie
Defenders : Naldo
Midfielders : Buonnanote Isco Oxlade Chamberlain
Strikers : Doumbia Rondon

Now I did this through the season long loan glitch mostly however some players I actually signed. However if you can pick up bounnanote he is a really good cam great finishing and 4 star skills.

Decided to build a team of young players with great potential and currently have:

GK - Sergio Asenjo (75 AVG) -
RB - Nathaniel Clyne (72 AVG) -
RCB - Frederik Sorensen (74 AVG) -
LCB - Jan Vertonghen (80 AVG) - not really young and AVG already high but he's awesome :)
RDM - Christian Eriksen (80 AVG) - high AVG as well but he can grow as he's young
LDM - Harmeet Singh (73 AVG)
RAM - Luciano Narsingh (73 AVG)
LAM - Oussama Assaidi (76 AVG)
RS - Luuk de Jong (76 AVG)
LS - Jack Russel (70 AVG)

Subs:
Vadillo (LW) - 16 years and already very fast, can and will grow
Nathan Redmond (RM) - 17 years, also very fast

Injuries :(
Christian Pasquato (CA) - 22 years, buy this guy immediately. He's very fast, has great ball control and can also score from a distance. Keep him some years and he's the new Messi
Stephan El Shaarawy (CAM) - only 18 but incredibly skilled. Pretty much the same as Pasquato
Thibuat Courtois (GK) - only 19 year old GK with very, very acceptable skills
Simone Benedetti (CV) - 19 year old CV with a lot of strength
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (RM) - same deal as El Shaarawy and Pasquato. Despite being 18, he is very fast and can make a goal here and there

I'm quite proud of this team and really wondering how they will develop. Like Boomerang Cat, I'm going to update every half season

Thanks to all of the Forum Members that have added their ideas to this Thread so far, lets keep this going.

I have another Backup Player to add to the collection of Value For Money Bargains:

P. Camara - CDM/CM/RM/LM - Valenciennes FC - Age: 19 - Ability: 66 - Potential: 78 - Growth: +12
Description: I've used him in two Career Modes as a Backup Player to Yaya Toure. Papa Abdou Camara is 6ft 2", has a surprising amount of Sprint Speed and Acceleration and also has red boots!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've recently started a new Career Mode with Arsenal this time playing on Legendary Difficulty.

At the start of Season 2 I managed to sign both Cristiano Ronaldo for £92,000,000 and Lionel Messi for £125,000,000 after cashing in on most of Arsenals assets like Van Persie, Walcott, Gervinho and by receiving a healthy Transfer Budget reward for hitting my objectives in Season 1.

So far I've noticed that Difficulty does seem to effect Player Growth. For example David Hoilett on World Class Difficulty developed very quickly into a great Player, however over a whole Season on Legendary Difficulty he didn't even get +1. I'm getting similar results for old favourites such as Jordan Ayew, Fabio Daprela and others.

I'll Update this Thread in the near future with my full Arsenal Team at the start of Season 3.

UPDATE

My current Man City team, halfway Season 1
GK: Sergio Asenjo (76) +1
RB: Nathaniel Clyne (72) +0
RCB: Frederik Sorensen (76) +2, even though he had a 3 month injury
LCB: Jan Vertonghen (81) +1
LB: Luna (new purchase) (73) +0
RDM: Markus Henriksen (76) +0
LDM: Xherdan Shaqiri (78) +2
RAM: Luciano Narsingh (74) +1
CAM: Christian Pasquato (76) +0
LAM: Jordan Ayew (75) +0
ST: Luuk de Jong (78) +2

Subs:
Christian Eriksen (due to low energy) (81) +1
Vadillo (65) +1
Harmeet Singh (74) +1
Joe Hart (84) +1
Vincent Kompany (85) +1
Greg Cunnignham (69) +1
Oussama Assaidi (78) +2

Out on loan:
Johnny Russel (great speed but lack finishing skill) (70) +0
Nathan Redmond (great potential but didn't get much playtime) (65) +0

Really surprised that Sorensen grew with 2 points, since he had such a long injury. Also glad that Vertonghen and Eriksen grew while they already had a high AVG. Pretty neat to see de Jong grow as well, he is getting better every match. Last but not leat, Shaqiri also showed me a quick growth, gaining both points within a month of each other

Rather disappointed that Clyne and Henriksen weren't able to grow, since they have played pretty much every match since I bought them. I also hoped Sergio Asenjo had grown more than he did, since he has made many good saves.

Currently a little more than 3 months away from the end of the first season, hoping to see more growth.

GK: M. ter Stegen - Overall Rating: 81 - Bought For: £8,000,000 (Season 1)
RB: F. Sorensen - Overall Rating: 79 - Bought For: £10,500,000 (S1)
RCB: V. Kompany - Overall Rating: 88 - Bought For: £25,100,000 (S3)

RS: Lionel Messi - Overall Rating: 96 - Bought For: £125,000,000 (S2)
LS: Neymar - Overall Rating: 89 - Bought For: £65,100,000 (S3)

2nd Team (41212):
GK: K. Schmeichel - Overall Rating: 78 - Bought For: £4,250,000 (Season 2)
RB: D. Boyata - Overall Rating: 74 - Bought For: £3,100,000 (S2)
RCB: J. Matip - Overall Rating: 75 - Bought For: £4,600,000 (S2)
LCB: S. Coates - Overall Rating: 73 - Bought For: £5,500,000 (S3)
LB: H. Badstuber - Overall Rating: 78 - Bought For: £5,250,000 (S3)
CDM: P. Camara - Overall Rating: 70 - Bought For: £2,500,000 (S2)
RCM: A. Oxlade Chamberlain - Overall Rating: 73 - Bought For: N/A
LCM: A. Diaby - Overall Rating: 78 - Bought For: N/A
ACM: N. Redmond - Overall Rating: 69 - Bought For: £2,750,000 (S2)
RS: Jordan Ayew - Overall Rating: 78 - Bought For: £10,000,000 (S1)
LS: David Hoilett - Overall Rating: 79 - Bought For: £20,000,000 (S2)

Some of the younger Players from my First Team like, M. ter Stegen, Sorensen, Shaqiri, Gotze and Neymar are Players that I am hoping for big Attribute Growth from, however as I've previously mentioned, Difficulty of the Matches does seem to effect the amount of attribute Growth a Player can achieve.

One big Arsenal Player missing from my Team is Jack Wilshere who I reluctantly decided to sell. This is because at the start of Season 3 when Wilshere was aged 21, Rated at 87 and Valued at £40,000,000 I received a bid of £60,000,000 from Man City for him. After rejecting that offer I got another bid from them of £70,000,000, which I also rejected. Man City then came back with a third bid which I felt was too good to reject of £85,000,000.

I've played a few Games in Season 3 with my latest Signings but to be honest I am struggling to enjoy playing with Neymar in the Team. His Strength is only 37 which makes him relatively easy to barge off the ball & his Stamina is only 49 which means he can only really play effectively for 45 Minutes per Match.

I've hit my 7th season (I think) with Anzhi so a brief update:

Formation: 3-2-3-1-1 (custom variation on 3-5-2)

ter Stegen 89
Jones 89, Hummels 88, Nastasic 88
Strootman 87, Wilshere 90
Shaqiri 85, Gotze 90, Bale 90
Neymar 91
Pato 89

Subs:
Coates 81, Daprela 76, Jucilei 79, Oxlade-Chamberlain 83, Ananidze 84, El Shaarawy 82, Lukaku 83

I did have Doumbia (truly incredible, pace, stamina, finishing, long shots, heading... the lot!) but Man City offered me 90m euros (valued 35m) so I took it for the 30 year old.

Gotze was great in early season but picked up a serious injury, however Ananidze has been astonishing, world class back-up. Lukaku is a great sub to have, complete striker trait and 98 strength, 92 pace and 91 acceleration. Bale has also been a revelation, frequently being my second/third top scorer with 15ish goals per season since he came - not bad in a 30 game season!

Regarding Neymar, I find his strength is not too much an issue as he seems to have great positioning and finds the space to get free, but I agree his stamina lets him down - El Shaarawy has played only about 3 games less, so he has clearly been needed on several occasions.

Neymar 91
Pato 89

Regarding Neymar, I find his strength is not too much an issue as he seems to have great positioning and finds the space to get free, but I agree his stamina lets him down - El Shaarawy has played only about 3 games less, so he has clearly been needed on several occasions.

The lack of Stamina for Neymar in FIFA 12 practically ruins him as an effective Player which is very annoying.

My frustration with him is made worse because I've moved Cristiano Ronaldo back into Midfield to accommodate Neymar into the Team and he just doesn't measure up to Ronaldo.

I'm seriously considering selling Neymar as soon as possible because this Season of my Career Mode so far hasn't been as enjoyable with Neymar in the Team.

You have 2 teams??
How?

I always try to have two usable Teams in each Career Mode, a First Team of my best Players and at least 11 Backup Players in my 2nd Team should I get any injuries to my First Team Players or a tough run of Games, for example 3 Games in 5 Days.

You can also make around £5,000,000 per Season from signing 1 or 2 of the most valuable Free Transfer Players in each Transfer Window. When the following Transfer Window comes around try to give each of the Free Transfer Players a few minutes on the Pitch while having them Transfer Listed to encourage Bids for them.

The same tactic can be used with Youth Players who have decent Potential. I probably promote around 5 or 6 Youth Players per Season and they usually end up being Sold for around £1,000,000 each which also helps the Finances to be able to build a stronger Squad.

Youth Players with really high potential can sometimes be Sold for big money as I remember I had an Argentinian youngster called Maxi Mendez in my West Ham Career Mode. At the time he was 17 and I managed to sell him for £6,000,000, despite poor attribute Growth over 18 Months in and around my First Team.

I hope this helps.

I've actually noticed that since Neymar's poor stamina was noted, it has improved in my career significantly, and has now reached a vaguely respectable 75. He still struggles to last whole matches, but his position as top league scorer speaks for itself, I guess.

Sales:

Vertonghen unexpectedly requested a transfer, so I had few choice but to let him go. Thought 21 million was acceptable, as he was worth 17 or something. Got Pique as a replacement. i know Pique doesn't fit well in the idea of young, promising players, but I wanted someone with experience and skill to takeover Vertonghen's position and role as captain.

I've decided that Neymar has to be sold, mainly due to his woeful Stamina which hasn't improved, and I can then move Cristiano Ronaldo forward to play with Lionel Messi again as a Striker.

I'll also sell Shaqiri because of his poor Attribute Growth at Left Back and Yaya Toure because he's getting old, which will allow me to move my Virtual Pro Back to CDM and use the money raised to sign a new Left Back and Two new Top Quality Central Midfielders.

I know exactly who I want to bring in as my new Left Back but I went for Shaqiri last Season as I was too short of Cash to purchase my first choice. I have Three Midfielders in mind for the Two Midfield Slots that I need to fill. I'll Update the Thread when I've finished the first Transfer Window of Season 4.

Welcome the xbox360a.org forums & thanks for posting your Career Mode recommendations.

I've always liked Santon as a Player when he was at Inter in past FIFA Career Mode's and when I've played Exhibition Matches as Newcastle in FIFA 12 he's been very noticeable quality, mainly because of his strange Pink Boots.

He's always been an appealing option to me in Career Mode but I've never signed him because he's worth around £20,000,000 after the first Season. I might consider Buying him in the future though because of his 85 potential, which is likely to make him one of the best Left Backs in the Game.

I'm still unsure whether that is possible, as it would take so many Seasons to improve a Players Overall Rating from an average of around 60 to 65 to grow +20 to +25.

For a Player to achieve his maximum growth Potential I'm pretty sure they need to start Games regularly, Play in a Position that is natural to them, Win most Games and get a high Match Rating in almost every Game.

Maintaining all of these factors over several Seasons seems too much of pain for most people so it's best to use the Scouting System as a way to boost your Transfer Budget.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't think they would reach their max potential unless they play every game for 10 + seasons. What about player growth when on loan, is it reasonable? I know to loan them out to the worst club that offers as they get more game time.

No probs. Player Growth for Players that you let get out on Loan also seems fairly poor, even with Youth Players who have high Potential.

EA should hopefully improve the Attribute Growth of Players ready for FIFA 13 as the current system needs looking at.

Gareth Bale is on a Wage of £200,000 per week, he wanted around £120,000 but rejected that, he also rejected £150,000 before finally accepting the £200,000.

I had a similar situation with Mario Gotze who I signed from Man United (another rival to Arsenal) and the lowest he would accept was £275,000 per week!

Gk: Akinfeev 84 Growth: +1 = 85
Rb: Mario Fernandes 75 Growth: +1 = 76
Cb: Berezutskyi 76
Cb: Amorebieta 81 (winter signing)

Lm: Alessio Cerci 75 Growth +1 = 76
Cam: Honda 81 Growth: +2 = 83
St: Doumbia 83 Growth +1 = 84

I sold Necid for 16,5M €.
Also, at the start of the season, Dzagoev demanded a transfer, so i sold him for 36,5M€.
Marchisio cost me about 25M, Cerci 10,5M, Shaqiri 25M, Diarra 6,5M, and Amorebieta about 8M.
I think I have a pretty good team with very much growth potential. Tell me what you think of it and improves or signings I shoul do or make.

Edit: Also, I bought Abel Hernandez for 16M but he didn't have chances to play because of Doumbia so I loaned him for half season. And also sold Mark Gonzalez for 7M (he demanded a transfer too).

Didn't realise how much money you could make from youth players, every player with high potential goes for around 500k and you also get the rare ones which sell for more than 3m.

Also how are you supposed to buy Messi, no matter what price I offer there is never enough cover in his position, does this mean I will never be able to buy him until barca buy another striker?

Ibai Gomez is a bargain for 900k. He plays for Bilbao and has a potential of 70. Maybe thats not what your looking for but hes scored some very important goals for me in my Wigan Manager Mode.

Some players I found very worthful in my career with Shrewsbury;

Marvell Wynne - 66 AVG
Listed as a central defender, but way more useful on my midfield due to his fysicial stats: 96 Acceleration, 95 Sprint Speed, 91 Stamina, 80 Strength, 82 Jumping, 74 Balance and 76 Balance. His fnishing's only 43 though, so he's put to best use to rush through the defence and then give the pass.

Jon Taylor - 61 AVG
Like Wynne, very fast. He starts with 92 Acceleration and 90 Sprint Speed. He also has 80 Stamina, so he can last long as well. Only has 56 Strength, but considering his speed that shouldn't be any trouble. 59 Finishing allows him to make some goals as well
Taylor is listed as an RM, but may be more useful in the attack if you have Lionel Ainsworth as well

Lionel Ainsworth - 62 AVG
Great guy to have behind Taylor. 91 Acceleration and 90 Sprint Speed makes him pretty much the perfect partner for Taylor. Has high Agility as well with 84, but his Stamina isn't too high with 69, so use him well as you'll most likely have to sub him before the end of the match.

Piotr Celeban - 68 AVG
Central back well worth the money. He has the speed (71 Acc. and 71 Speed), Stamina (82) and Strength (71) to make a very good defender in the lower leagues or for low-budget clubs. His 84 jumping makes him valuable when defending corners as well.

Cedric Mabwati - 70 AVG
Left winger with simply beast physical stats. 91 Acc, 89 Agility, 90 Balance, 91 Jumping, 91 Sprint Speed and 80 Stamina. Also has 70 Ball Control and 72 Dribbling, so he's the perfect man for the left wing to give the final pass. If you can afford him. With €2.9M he's not cheap and his €10.000 wage may also be pretty steep for low-budget clubs

I recently began a new career with Newcastle Utd, after a season and a half the team is as follows:

Krul 81
Piszczek 79 - S. Taylor 79 - Vertonghen 83 - Santon 79
Ben Arfa 81 - Cabaye 83 - Tiote 83 - Afellay 83
Ba 84 - Carroll 79

Subs: Kjaer 78 - R. Taylor 75 - Gosling 77 - Cleverley 77 - Gutierrez 79 - Cisse 82 - Rhodes 73

Reserve/Loan: Bannan 76 (on loan, Celtic), Ranger 69, Forster 77

I sold Coloccini in order to bring in Vertonghen in the Summer and thankfully the only player so far to demand a move was Kadar in the reserves who was easily replaced.

Besides the commonly recommended Santon, I've been massively impressed with the growth of Tiote, he has become a fantastic central midfielder and comes highly recommended, as does Cabaye. Carroll's growth has been a little sluggish I think but I've only had him for this season and he is the league top scorer so I guess that counts for something. Krul is also a keeper I'm fond of and always grows to a stable rating in the low 80s for a fairly low price. I'd also recommend Gosling who has grown steadily without masses of football.

I've been a little disappointed with Rhodes, I've had him since the start and I had hoped he would grow a little faster. Afellay has also failed to shine but he did have a serious injury so I cut him a bit of slack. Cleverley has failed to grow at all while at Man Utd (I think), but I only just got him and will probably get him out on loan next year when Bannan returns to get some regular football, and hopefully he can grow into the 80s.

Some more players that were very valuable for my Shrewsbury team:

Craig Westcarr - 62 AVG
Quite fast as well with 83 Acceleration and 91 Sprint Speed. His 66 Finishing also makes him a better scoring machine than most players in lower leagues. Fact he's only €250.000 makes him cheap as well, and he doesn't need much salary.

Thiago Cionek - 69 AVG
Central defender with the speed (71 Acc, 80 Speed), strnegth (78) and stamina (80) to become very useful. I got him for €550.000 and a €3000 wage, which I find pretty cheap for a central defender of his quality.

Killian Brennan - 68 AVG
Like most of my midfielders; quite fast and high stamina. Has 68 Crossing as well and is a relatively good free-kick taker wiith 65 free-kick accuracy. Brennan cost me €875.000 but he doesn't need much salary either

I've just been getting into Career Mode.

My Team is Chelsea, and I put all the options on hard, so I just didn't have an unlimited budget.

I have loyalty to my guys like Terry, Drogba, Lampard so I can't sell them yet.

Lucas, Muniain, and Lukaku are all beasts though and will need to start soon.

Oh.. and if you need a CM BUY RAMIRES. This guy does it all, his work rate and stamina are out of this world. He's my favorite player to control.

Here's my squad now. I play a 4-4-2 with the outside mids pushed up a bit so they are almost wingers.

First Team
GK - Cech - 84
RB - M. Richards - 82 (Purchased for 12.5M)
CB - David Luiz - 80
CB - Terry - 85
LB - A. Cole - 85
RM - Hulk - 86 (Purchased for 30M)
CM - Lampard - 84
CM - Ramires - 81
LM - Mata - 87
RS - Torres - 85
LS - Drogba - 86

Subs/Reserves
LW - Muniain - 81 (Purchased for 14M)
CAM - Lucas - 82 (Purchased for 28.5M)
CB - Cahill - 80
CDM - J. Mikel - 80
ST - Lukaku - 77
RW - S. Kalou - 79
RM - N. Redmond - 68 (Purchased for 3M)
CDM - O. Romeu - 72
CAM - Mellis - 64
CAM - Benayoun - 79
GK - Turnbull - 74

Key Players on Loan
LW - Malouda - 81(Age 31, Full Season)
CF - Lucas Paizon - 61 (Age 18, Full Season)
LM - De Bruyne - 77 (Age 20, Full Season)
CB - J. Bruma - 74 (Age 20, Full Season)
GK - Courtois - 79 (Age 19, Full Season)
CM - J. McEachran - 72 (Age 18 Full Season)

Key Players Sold
Essien - 83 (Sold for 12.5M, Board forced me to sell)
Ivanovic - 83 (Sold for 12 M)
Bosingwa - 79 (Sold for 4M)
P. Ferreira - 74 (Sold for 1M)
Sturridge - 80 (Sold for 20.5 M)

Newcastle, March 2014 (Season 3) - (Initial Club - Fee - Summer/January Season X):
Krul 83
Richards (Man City - £12.5m - SS3) 83 - Vertonghen (Ajax - £13m ish - SS2) 83 - Tomkins (West Ham - £11m - SS3) 80 - Santon 81
Forrest (Celtic - £17.5m - SS3) 81 - Cabaye 84 - Tiote 84 - Ben Arfa 82
Ba 84 - Carroll (Liverpool - £17.5m - SS2) 82

Subs: S. Taylor 80, R. Taylor 76, Cleverley (Manchester United - £10.5m - JS2) 79, Gosling 77, Gutierrez 78, Cisse 82, Rhodes (Huddersfield - £3.2m - SS1) 74

Notable reserves: Wickham (Sunderland - £5m - JS3) 73, Butland (Birmingham - Loan, £1.5m agreed fee - SS3) 67, Leali (Brescia - £13m - SS3) 78, Marveaux 78, Bannan (Aston Villa - £8m ish - SS2) 78 (on loan)

I still recommend all players I recommended before, and now I am much happier with Cleverley's growth (he is also an excellent player). Carroll has gone from strength to strength and is much more enjoyable to play with (although he is not my top scorer this year). I can't recommend Richards enough, a fantastic player to use and probably the best young right back in the world - stole him for cheap from Man City reserves and was worth every penny. Forrest has scored plenty of goals and been fun to play with despite his lack of growth this season, however fingers crossed he'll go up a bit in the next few years.

Leali is one for the future and has got a +2 this season despite not playing - I've been really happy with him. Wickham has also been a good back up striker in the brief time that I've had him and will probably replace Rhodes on the bench next season - Rhodes seems a bit sluggish (1 goal in 11) and still isn't quite showing the growth I'd hoped.

Vertonghen has been disappointing, he has not had a single stat growth in nearly two seasons and has spent long periods out due to injury, so I'm likely to sell him in the summer and replace him with Subotic, Howedes, Clark or Dede (my summer targets before I chosen Tomkins). Nick Powell clearly has plenty of potential, but I've never managed to get him out on loan in two seasons of trying and he has barely grown in my reserves - I'm hoping next season he will prove me wrong.

I haven't visited this Thread for a while because I've been playing a lot of Max Payne 3, but I just wanted to thank the members of the x360a community that have contributed to this Thread.

It's really useful Info for everyone who starts a Career Mode in FIFA 12.

Sometimes players inform you they want to leave immediately. Shortly after the board will send an e-mail telling you that payer has to be sold

This is one of the most frustrating things about Career Mode in FIFA 12, Players wanting to leave for no apparent reason.

I've had my Virtual Pro request to leave twice during my West Ham Career Mode and Lionel Messi asked to leave at the start of Season 3 during my Arsenal Career Mode.

If you get an email from the Board telling you to Sell the Player before the end of the Transfer Window, just Reload you last Save and you normally get a different email response telling you that "The Board will let you decide whether to sell the Player or not".

Started a Blackburn Career and my signings have been Henriksen, Ayew, Owen, Smith (Gk) and Miquel. Sitting in 5th at the moment. Im on Legendary Difficulty though. Got booted out the Carling Cup by Barnsley in penaltys. Only lost one in the league to Arsenal. 3-1 was the score due to two bullcrap penaltys. Drew to Everton 0-0. In October and im against Moneybags City. Europe Leagues my personal expectation.

what are the best CDMs to buy in career mode? I'm playing as Newcastle United and have Cheik Tiote as one of my two CDMs in my formation. Thinking of getting Yann M'Vila (£21,500,000) or Sergio Busquets (£18,000,000).

M'vila and Busquets are both good options as a CDM, the only thing I don't like about Busquests is his facial likeness which isn't very good.

My personal favourite Player that can play as a CDM in FIFA 12 is Yaya Toure. He's incredible all round, and even though he's a few years older than M'vila and Busquets, he still manages to maintain his Value many Seasons into the Game.

I started my Career at AS Monaco with a really poor budget, which made winning games a pain in the a** at times,

But the first player I bought on my current career was Jorge Henrique from Corinthians, he is rated 75 overall and valued at £2M. I'm now in my 2019/2020 season with St.Etienne with a yearly budget of £150M but I still always use Jorge Henrique purely because he is an amazing player! Looking at his stats there is nothing special except his great speed and long range shooting, Even if you are managing a top club I would recommend still buying him as a 2nd Striker.

Also I would Recommend M.Traore from OGC Nice, he is rated 77* and relatively cheap, oh and he has a blistering long shot!

But my all-time favorite buy Has to be Jeff Louis from Le Mans, I just bought him in my 2018 season for £4.5M and he is now rated 79 with 99 Stamina, and 99 Balance

So i used tottenham just so that i would not have to buy modric and i must say they do not need any real changes the first season. I scouted for attackers in the Ivory Coast and got a 16 year old striker 66 overall with 91 potential. He's my first team leading scorer. Ivory coast has given me a gold mine of great prospects, the attacker i was talking about, worth 7 mill already not even done with the first season, so i would recommend scouting there.

I found this thread a few weeks ago, and used some of the players mentioned. Thanks to everyone for posting all these players. I decided to make an npower championship team in Creation Centre. I sold all but 2 players, then bought and sold players to make my team as perfect as I could. So far, I am in Season 2 with AC Croydon (Creation Centre Club), and got a lot of growth from all players.
STARTING XI:
GK: De Gea= 78+3=81
RB: Shipps (Creation Centre Player)= 73+0=73
CB: Ream= 68+4=72
CB: G. Cahill= 78+3=81
LB: O. Gonzalez= 71+2=73
RM: S. Holden= 79+2=81
CM: Cabaye= 78+5=83
LM: Felipe Anderson= 70+3=73
RF: N. Redmond= 68+1=69
LF: F. Montero= 74+1=75
ST: Le Toux= 73+0=73
BENCH:
ST: Volland= 70+2=72
ST: D. Henderson= 69+0=69
ST: Stead= 67+0=67
CM: Michaels ( Creation Centre Player)= 72-2=70
CB: A. Henley= 66+0=66
CB: DeMonte (16 YO Scouted Player from France)= 65+0=65
GK: Featherstone (16 YO Scouted Player from England)= 60+0=60

Cabaye grew 5 points in my 1st year. I play him mostly at CM, but he is a good backup at LB or RB.
Henley is a young player from either Liverpool or Blackburn, he will develop eventually. Ream, Anderson, and Gonzalez will grow even if you only play them 8 games a season. Le Toux, Redmond, and Montero in my mind are the best starting offenses you can have. Redmond has good pace, stamina, and insane speed. Le Toux has good strength, a powerful shot, ability to score from afar, and can't be knocked off the ball easily. Montero has good speed, but his accuracy and vision make him a great playmaker. If I've built an attack, but its about to die, I pass it to Montero and he manages to either draw an extra defender, or puts the ball behind the defense for an attacker to grab and shoot. Redmond doesn't grow very easily, but I think he's the best player on my team. He is just killer everywhere. I've played many career modes, and I want to reccommend some other players too, here they are:
GK: D. Ricketts: His OVR starts in the high 60's, but he always positions himself well, and he can throw the ball farther than any other keeper in the game.
CB: Hertaux: His stamina isn't wonderful, but he plays his position well.
CB: Shawcross: Ryan is very tall, and he is strong too. He can always knock strong players off the ball, and he can kick that ball off the pitch easily.
ST: Lewandowski: I highly reccommend buying Robert. He plays on BVB( Borussia Dortmund), and will only get better, but it takes him starting most games. The reasons why I like him: I am related to him, so he belongs on my team. He seems to be as strong as Ibrahimovich(Spelling is Off?), and has a strong shot. I have scored almost 20 goals with him from the half line, and he is also has a great header.
RM: D. Richards: Dane is only rated 68, and his attributes won't impress anyone, but he has great speed, passes well in game AT HOME, and is good at headers. He used to be my go-to sub for midfielders and strikers, but I got an offer from Reading to buy him for 1,800,000.
RM/CM/LM: B. Convey: Bobby is similar to Fredy Montero. He is sort of like the second choice to Montero. Most importantly: Bobbie works REALLY WELL WITH NATHAN REDMOND, MARKUS HENRIKSEN, JAMIE SMITH, AND FREDY MONTERO.
For some reason, Henriksen, De Vrij, A. White, Daprela, and Kongolo never grew any, and I started them for 4 straight years. I'll take that back, De Vrij grew +1. Does anyone know how/why they grow so slow/ don't grow at all. I'd also like to get rid of De Gea. For some reason, The only goalie that has played well for me was Donovan Ricketts. I've hand Mandanda, Adler, De Gea, Rimando, and even John Smith. None of the above players listed have performed even ok. The best form I've gotten from an above goalie was a 6.3. They are usually out of form, and riding at 4.3-5.9. Why is this so? Funny, I don't have a 360 YET, but I do have PS3. I just had to post, hope this post helps someone. If you have PS3, feel free to add ClubMonger. Just shoot me a message saying that you saw my post on xbox360achievments.com.

It is pretty cool to related to a fairly well known striker. I think my great grandmother is either his cousin's grandmom or his step grandmom. Only one person has asked me if I think he's gonna get transfered to Man U. I don't think so, he has too many connections at BVB. There are a few players that play for Poland with him. I think he'll stay for a while, unless he wants to go back to Lech Poznan, which would be a killer to his rep.

OK, I stopped my career with my young promises at MC.
Now, I'm in a career with Shrewsbury and it is my goal to make it a 5 star club with high-rated players. I'm in my 2nd season now, 5 months through the year and have the following selection:

Shrewsbury - 3 star club (started as 1.5 star club)
Starting XI
4-4-2
GK: John Smith - 77 AVG
RB: Jermaine Grandison - 61 AVG
CB: Piotr Celeban - 70 AVG
CB: Thiago Cionek 69 AVG
LB: Joe Jacobson 63 AVG
RM: Lionel Ainsworth - 65 AVG
RCM: Marvell Wynne - 67 AVG
LCM: Matt McKay - 69 AVG
LM: Mervan Celik - 69 AVG
RS: Jon Taylor - 67 AVG
LS: Craig Westcarr - 64 AVG

Subs:
GK: Danny Vukovic - 68 AVG
CV: Kim André Madsen - 71 AVG
CM: Sean McAllister - 63 AVG
LM: Killian Brennan - 68 AVG
ST: Bruno Fornaroli - 66 AVG

Reserves:
RM: Luke Male - 57 AVG
CM: Ryan Woods - 57 AVG
CM: Nicky Wroe - 65 AVG
CAM: Mohammed Lartey - 68 AVG

Out on loan:
RM: Mark Wright - 62 AVG
CV: Connor Goldson - 58 AVG
LM: Steven Leslie

The Starting XI is very pacey, with Ainsworth having 93 Speed and both Taylor and Wynne having 96. Westcarr isn't as high as I would like, but his pace and accuracy make him a very decent striker.
Smith might be sold next transfer period, since i can use the 4 million he's woth very good and Vukovic has already shown he can handle himself very well.

I'm having serious defensive problems since I'm competing in 5 leagues (npower League 1, League Cup, FA Cup, Euro League and J. Paint Trophy) and the great amount of matches get alot of players tired fast, but I have only 1 backup defender.

Also wondering what to do with players such as Male and Woods, as I've loaned them out for the entire year I was in the npower League 2 but they made no progress whatsoever

Anyone got any ideas what I should do? My funds are really limited now (€750.000 for transfers and only €3.250 for salary) but I really need some more bakcup players

my squad after two years.

gk courtois (about to sell to go after van der steigel)

rb: jerome boateng, (about 22-24, can play all over back 4 about 10 million i think)

st: terry brill ovr 73, gone up plus 7 in a year, and scored over 100 goals in that time. insane
rw: alex oxlade-chamberlain ovr 78 plus 9

lw: ryo myaichi is ovr 78 and still banging them in but spurs are struggling in my league with an insane squad just their starting keeper is ovr 44!!! so if spurs go down im gonna get bale to replace myaichi as bale can defend and i can switch him, wilshire and suk-young down the left side.

im also after a 84ovr cdm from brazil by the name of casemiro, who has gone up ten overall in three years.

I started with Southampton in the championship.

Season 1 - Finished 6th and lost in the semi-final playoffs vs Birmingham.
Did not have enough budget to buy players so got most of them on loans like McEachran, Ramsey, Frimpong.(quality ones)

Season 2 - Finished 5th and won the play-offs thus promoted to Premier League. Bought some of the quality players on loan again like McEachran, Coutinho.

Season 3 - Started the season with a bang. After losing the first game to Aston Villa 4-1 and drew second game vs Fulham 0 - 0 . I won 13 games continuously to my own surprise and this time without the quality loan players with only McEachran (for the third time on loan). But my slump in form very badly led me to finish 13th.

Season 4 - Finished 14th after just managing to get ahead of relegation in the last 6 or 7 games. Signed Robert Snodgrass on free and Heber for 6m pound.

Season 5 - Finished 8th. I was in 10 - 13th position for most of the season but I picked up a momentum in the last few games to go little bit higher but missed the europa league spot. Signed Lewandowski for around 14m and a good signing. (The board started giving me a budget of 16m at the start of the seaon)

Season 6 - Finished 8th again. But this time I was in 4-6 th postition in most of the season but just in the last 2 games I fell away. Signed Bannan for 12m.

Season 7 - Currently 2nd. Signed Darpela for 9.9m

Squad:

J. Smith -GK 77
R.Gunter - RB 77
J. Hovield - CB 79
M . Jose - CB 81
F.Darpela - LB 83
J.Cork - DCM 75
H.Devield - DCM 80
R.Snodgrass - RW 81
A.Lallana - CAM 78
B.Bannan - CAM 81
R.Lewandowski - ST 81 (scored 30+ goals in the first two seasons he played)

Cork and Lallana the only 2 players to be from the beginning of season 1. There are the backbone of the team. Lallana is my highest scorer this season till now.

I have invested quite a lot in scouting and developing youth players since I want to add more quality and I have less budget. There was a time in the 6th season when after signing players I did not even have a budget to sign a youth player from the academy for 500 pounds per week. My total budget was around 180 pounds!!!! But luckily it was the end of the season otherwise I would have lost another 6-7 good players because i did not have enough to renew their contract. The board added 5m which later became 16 m at the start of season 7.

I bought ST andre-pierre gignac (79) for € 12,000,000 and he is a BEAST!!! He is amazing with long shots, he has amazing strength and good speed. Hes a 79 but with more potential. I bought ramis (77) who is a CB for around € 6,000,000 and jose rojas (74) a RW for € 6,000,000. Rojas has 94 speed and 92 acceleration. I'm using west brom so gignac was a replacement for cole who i sold. I usually use gignac and rojas upfront with gignac playing left and rojas on the right.

one wierd thing i noticed is that tottenham who had a great outfield squad let their keeper situation get bad i mean their best keeper is 44 ovr!

infact they've been relegated now to the championship and i nicked gareth bale. buggers tried to charge me 50 million for them. got him for 36 after about 4 reloads

Another guy I have to point out;
Marko Mitrovic from Chelsea
He's a striker with a low average who may consume alot of money for clubs with low budget, but despite his not so impressive stats he is incredible

I'm not sure how much people care nowadays, but I have a few names to suggest after starting a Russian League themed revival of Portsmouth, starting in League 1:

Lacina Traore - Probably pretty well known nowadays, the 74 rated striker from Kuban Krasnodar stands an impressive 6 foot 8 inches, and is lethal in the air. League top scorer, works best at the front of a 4-3-3.

E. Pomazan - A goalkeeper I've raved about in UT, the young Russian keeper from Anzhi (I think) has received a large ratings boost from his 64 rated card in UT to a rating of 69 in career mode. An impressive shot stopper, he has shown a high level of growth in a relatively small number of games (he is back up for Pletikosa, also a top keeper), and has helped us win crucial games and penalty shootouts in the cup. Highly recommended.

Anton Sosnin - A 21 year old central midfielder from Kuban Krasnodar (before update - Kyryla Sovetov), a relatively low value and rating of merely 62 would probably be enough to put most people off. While he has been fairly slow to grow, he has been a key player for the team after impressing in a cup match against Fulham. Confident on the ball and capable of playing a good pass, he has also popped up with the odd crucial goal. Excellent squad player at least.

I really wanted to like Glushakov and Fayzulin, however I have found the two to be disappointing on the whole, and I shall probably be selling Fayzulin for Ananidze in January, as I have always enjoyed using Ananidze and watching him grow to a good 80+ player.

After the success of last two Year's FIFA 12 & FIFA 13 Career Mode Discussion Threads with the Community members of the x360a Forums, I thought it would be beneficial to everyone to make it an annual tradition.

Remarkably last years x360a FIFA 13 Career Mode Discussion Thread was viewed more than 337,000 times in less than a year. This equates to more than 7 times as many views as the next most viewed FIFA 13 Thread on the xbox360achievements Forums.

With FIFA 14 soon to be Released, many Players of the Game will soon be creating a new Career Mode with their favourite Team.

This Thread has been designed for Users of the Forum to share anything they think others might find useful during their very own FIFA 14 Career Mode.

Anything else related to FIFA 14's Career Mode which the majority of the x360a Community would find interesting:

There are a number of changes that EA have made for FIFA 14's Career Mode and a full List of the details that have been released so far can be found below:

FIFA 14 Career Mode Fundamentals

A new “Disable first summer transfer window” option has been added to Career Modes setup. This will allow you to maintain real world squads up until January.

The OVR player value has now been masked in Career Mode. You can only see the OVR value of players in your own squad meaning you'll have to scout players to find out how good they are.

Player growth now appears to be more subtle, with only minor gains and decreases seen after half a seasons play.

Player fatigue has maintained the match by match recovery changes from FIFA 13 but appears to be more harsh on in-game fatigue, with more players in to the orange/red values
.
Career Mode User Interface

A new user interface has revolutionised the way you navigate Career Mode's menus.

Five main navigation options now hold all game information – Central, Squad, Transfers, Office and Season.

Most tiles in the Career Mode interface have sub-options which you access by flicking the right analogue stick.

Team formations can now be changed on the fly without going in to Team Management. A tile on the Squad screen is dedicated to this task.

The email screen now has a reading pane and the game no longer stops advancement for trivial information.

Player Conversations now appear in the their own tab within the email notification screen.
Global Scout Network

When you start Career Mode you will now have 3 GSN scouts already hired.

You can have a maximum of 6 GSN scouts.

6 Scout Instruction slots allow you to configure the types of players you want to search for.

You first choose the position, age group and contract length. Then up to six traits to find the type of player you want to find.

You can relocate your scouts to new countries, or recall them at any time.

A tile on the Central Career Mode homepage, updates in real time as new players are scouted.

Once targets are identified you can choose to remove them, keep them, or compile a more detailed scouting report.

The detailed scouting reports will show you a selection of player stats and their potential transfer value. The more times you scout a player the more accurate the data becomes.

The player OVR value is hidden, as are the “showing great potential” and “has that something special” traits, until scouting has been completed.

Youth scouting is still in Career Mode and is completely separate to the Global Scout Network.

Youth scouting now costs money too (192k for 3 months).
Transfers

A new “Reject all/Disallow future offers” option has been added to the transfer offer screen. This will prevent clubs from persistently offering for players you do not want to sell at any price.

The new Transfers Hub shows all the latest rumours, news and the biggest deals all on one screen.

Transfer Deadline Day now has a club by club breakdown for the league you're in. This allows you to see all the Ins and Outs at the clubs in your league.
Career Mode Audio

Jeff Stelling is now the stadium and pre-match announcer for FIFA 14.

The commentary team now directly reference previous match results, eg “a great 3-1 win against Swansea last week”.

The commentary team will also discuss current transfer rumours in more detail.

For me, the most interesting of these recently announced features is that "The OVR player value has now been masked in Career Mode. You can only see the OVR value of players in your own squad meaning you'll have to scout players to find out how good they are".

I had a feeling this may happen after seeing the first FIFA 14 screenshots a couple of Months ago. This will make the FIFA 14 Career Mode Discussion Thread even more valuable, especially if EA make each individual Players Overall Stats different to those that can be found in the normal Match Modes and Player edit option, we'll wait and see what they do.

What does everyone else think about the FIFA 14 Career Mode changes?
