hypermetalsonic
Like all my games, I installed this before playing it. Didn't notice any problem aside from the fact it took almost a min to load up the game (just a long black screen before the epic logo appsears, which I assumed was normal). game first began to stutter/load slowly during dom's death scene to the point where it was unwatchable. I noticed the same thing happens with the 'previously in gears' video... As for online, I wasn't able to join any of my friends invites, though could join random matches. It would spend 2 to 3 min at the Marcus loading screen till it says connections were lost..etc I ended up deleting my install and just playing from disc, now everything is running x10 faster. What could be causing this? I tried installing a 2nd time thing it was just as bad as the first time with same results. Was hoping to be able to leave my system on to boost some of the versus modes, don't want to kill my system in the process Edited October 6, 2011 by hypermetalsonic
Burnout x360a
Weird because everyone else that I know that have the game installed say it loads quicker as a result. Either way, i'd take a marginally increased loading time over the heat generated by a spinning disk.
Steve9213
My only gripe with the loading time is that it takes so long before you can skip the Microsoft/epic cutscene, leading up to it though from starting the game from the dashboard is fine
hypermetalsonic
well then, apparently 3rd time's a charm. Installed it again and its finally running smoothly and as fast as before from the disc.
