Reward cars in Forza 4 are done very differently from previous games. This time around you get a reward for every driver level as well as a choice of 2-7 different cars. These cars have similar performance and are part of the same general vehicle type. What can differ greatly though is their value. Especially in the higher levels, one car may be worth several hundred thousand while another is worth several million.

The people at Gamespot have been kind enough to make a list of all the reward cars to help us decide which one to choose. This way if you like more than one car you can take the more expensive one for free and buy the cheaper one yourself.

Also, thank you to Mohegan13 who has been feeding me constant updates on which reward levels the DLC cars fit into.

For those interested in getting the "Exclusive Taste" achievement, the following are the 5 most expensive cars in the game. Two of them are reward cars at Level 30 however you should take the '67 Ferrari 330 P4 because it's significantly more expensive, you will have to buy the other 4.

5 Most Expensive Cars

Thanks for posting this list here :)
Ferrari 330 P4 - 9 million :/... will pick this one as a reward definitely!
Luckily the other Ferarris aren't that pricy...

It would appear that T10 listened when people complained about the high price of some of the cars.

I notice both the P4 and the Daytona Coupe have had a price drop. The P4 is down 2million from 11mil to 9mil and the Daytona has a rather significant drop from 10mil to 5mil.

Makes you wonder if the same is true of the Ferrari 250TR (15mil) and Ferrari 250GTO (20mil) and if so what their new prices are.

-Any way, thanks for the list. It'll certainly be helping me with some of the really high priced cars.

Very nice List. With the Level Information from http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=334704 there only 2 questions left for me concerning achievments:

1. What are the 5 most expensive cars?
2. What are the Ferraris on disc 1?

Thats a big help especially considering if people want to buy all or the majority of cars in the game.

Thanks for putting this guide together. Just skimming over the list, I would have made a couple really poor choices, primarily for level 6. I would've gone with the 69 Trans Am.

Think it belongs here (info from http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/forza-motorsport-4/achievement/56930-Exclusive-Taste.html, credits to *X* and Lurkin)

The 5 most expensive cars for the exclusive Taste Achievement:

1964 Ferrari 250 GTO (10m)

1967 Ferrari 330 P4 (9m) (Reward at Player Level 30)

1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rosa (8m)

1965 Shelby Cobra Daytona (5m)

Aston DBR1 (6m)

Nice to see they did drop the price on the 250GTO/TR then. 8m/10m is a lot better than the 15m/20m of FM3.

Do the car rewards go all the way up to lvl 150 or do they stop at 50?

Do the car rewards go all the way up to lvl 150 or do they stop at 50?

Unfortunately they do stop at level 50, the other 100 levels offer no benefit.

I added the list of the 5 most expensive cars at the top of the thread.

Will there cash rewards for the other levels or are cash rewards now tied exclusively to affinity ranking?

Forgot about that.

The first 50 levels will offer you a choice of several cars. Every level after that will give you cash rewards.

Just read on the official forums that some DLC cars get added to the reward list.

Someone who has the Muscle Pack DLC said the 65 gto and 66 nova were added to the level 5 reward choices.

Ya I read about that in the "Under the Hood" articles. If any DLC car fits into the reward car groups they'll be part of the reward car lists.

I'll find out which ones fit where for all the DLC and add them to the list as they're announced.

Rewards cars only sell for $100! so don't pick a car thinking you can sell it for something else. Rewards cars seem to be upgraded past what you can buy in store so pick what you want to drive most.

I think the point is that for people that want to own all of the cars, they can see the respective prices of the free level cars and can make their decisions based on that.

That's it.

If there is more than one car in a reward list you should obviously take the more expensive one and buy the cheaper one yourself.

Reward cars have always only been worth $100 resale, that's nothing new.

If anyone sees one of the DLC cars (Pre-order exclusives, VIP Pack, Ship Bonus, DLC Packs) in the reward lists in the game please post here so I can update the list to reflect that. Also, please include the prices of these cars as well.

It seems that the '65 GTO and '66 Nova are part of the Level 5 list, I've updated the list with those but I don't have the prices so if anyone can get me those that would be appreciated.

All the reward cars are modified to max out their current class, so there really isn't a "wrong" car. Just what you'd like to drive. The thinking here is to get the most expensive one so you save money by not buying it, and buying the cheaper one if you want it.

Currently only Ferrari has an achievement tied to it for owning all cars on disk one - Listed in the first post

The other achievement has to do with affinity level, which is how much you drive a car for that manufacturer, and it is for level 50 I think, You can drive 10 different cars from Ford and reach 50 or drive one car from Ford to reach 50.

All the reward cars are of similar performance so there isn't any benefit from one or the other.

For achievements, there is one for owning all the Ferrari's listed at the top.

Otherwise the reason I made this thread is because sometimes you'll see multiple cars in a reward group that you want. Normally you'd just take the one you like the most but if you know which one is the most expensive you can take it and buy the others with cash.

I used Ford as an example, you can use any car from any manufacture as long as you get that manufacture to 50. I don't think I was clear, just in case.

I also use custom settings, but I tend to spend some time messing with tire pressure to get a good grip level on the car I use. Haven't messed with race parts too much as I haven't seen the need so far, the reward cars seem to do fine. In fact I think I only purchased one car, the crappy first one you have to pick. The only issue I have is that the races are too short, only 2 laps. Doesn't give you much time to be patient and pick and choose your passing. There should have been 3 laps at minimum, 4 would be best. It would make for better racing and cleaner too. I find that I have to "bully" my way through the field just to get behind the leaders with enough time to pass them before the end of the 2 lap to win.

I think they did a good job with F4 so far. Cars with same PI seem evenly matched and nothing really dominates like in F3. I guess they really did fix the PI issues and the drivetrain dominance issue from last series. Also the driving feels top notch, The tire data seems to have really nailed down the feel of grip and feedback.

The biggest difference is the way the difficulty is handled. In FM3 hard difficulty was a realistic race. Every difficulty below that made the AI cars less powerful which is why you'd always blow them away on the straights. Now though no matter what difficulty you play on the AI cars have all the power that they're supposed to have, the only difference is how aggressive the drivers are through the corners. That's why taking them on a straight is impossible unless your car is more powerful. The races are won in the corners now, much more like real racing.

You'll have to take that up with the board moderators. I suggested a sticky for my FAQ Thread, this, and the original x360a car club thread and that was the response I got after my FAQ Thread was stickied.

I think it was fair enough but if you feel strongly about it you should contact a mod, they're the ones that sticky things.

I just drove it in free play. Maybe the cause is related to having two save files, because it happened on level 19 on my second save (no SEAT or Renault). If you saw my thread you'll know I was contemplating having another save to get more reward cars and I thought helping with this list was a good excuse to do it. Otherwise, has anyone else got to these levels since the JJ pack?

Xelos I suggest you go and read the official forums. I believe multiple saves may be something turn 10 are acting on unless I read it wrong.

Try this one http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/thread/5151523.aspx

I do not know what their criteria are. I am also not sure its worth the effort. If you play the game you can buy any car you like you earn that much.

I was worried about that, but I started it before that was posted and what if I never saw that? Where does it state this in game? What if I lost my storage device and had to make a new save? How can they tell anyway? Besides it's not like I'm manipulating the game. I've only ever got CR from races. And I still have'nt received the latest 2 VIP gift cars, so I'm starting to dislike Turn 10.

Edit: BTW thanks for the heads up. And about not being worth the effort, the reward cars are worth millions and if I do the 100K CR thing on a new save rather than my main one I get the rewards and the CR to buy more cars instead of just the CR.

if only I'd seen this before I started playing........so many cars I've now had to buy including the level 30 ferrari i passed on that I wouldn't have had to had I seen this before. Oh well. All part of the "fun" I guess.
