Sorry for the double post but I didn't reserve two post slots on the previous thread so here is the revised guide with advise from the community. Good Luck.

Helpful Items

Useful Outfits (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=335251) -Thanks to sigmund500-

BFG Location- Go to Palisades Mall, then head towards the maintenance shop on the lower level closest to Atlantica Casino. Instead of entering, keep going down the hall. When you reach the end, go right and you'll find the elevator you took back upstairs from a mission. Use the elevator to go back down, head around the corner and straight into the door in front of you. Grab the Blast Frequency Gun leaning against the wall by the door then head back up to the mx shop and combine it with the amplifier -Thanks to hitechkoolaid-

-Best items
Plate Launcher- Cement Saw+ Plates
Boomstick- PitchFork + Shotgun- (Palisades High Noon Shooting=Shotgun and Atlantica Entrance stuck in planter in between two escalators=Pitchfork)
Quick Step:Wine +Wine
Repulse: Beans + Beans
PainKiller- Vodka+Vodka and Whiskey+Whiskey

Tips
-Easier with High level and combo cards
-Some of the challenges will require you to have a higher inventory limit in order to complete them
-To Earn the required amount of kills to open up the challenges Chainsaw + Motorcycle works the best unless you've unlocked the SUV
-Use the tips below for co-op as well
-Sometimes its easier to just die and reload checkpoint
-Pretty much all the kill amounts challenges should be done with a Super BFG

Challenges
Roof Top Massacre- You start out here at the beginning of sandbox mode. Preferable with the Super BFG or use combo card of your choice

Silver Strip Smackdown- Boomstick

Balloon Man- Wear Ninja Suit and jump through zombies, (wearing ninja suit is pretty much beneficial for every one except Thirst Quencher unless you want to hold the magazine)

Crowd Pleaser- Fire Crackers Heliblade, and Flying Saucer will help this
Place your heliblade on the stage so that zombies dont die from it. Start the mission, throw firecrackers against the wall near the tables so that they dont bunch up in the entrance and run out and grab their attention easy enough

Chop Suey-Plate Launcher counts as a slice, combine this with quickstep and aim for big crowds easy

Rumble in the jungle- Super BFG

Stiff Back-
!!!Let me start off by saying the higher your inventory cap is the easier this will be you need at least a minimum 10 open slots !!!
Go into Intimate Encounters in the Silver Strip and Fill up your inventory with massages. Go to Atlantica and climb on top of the octopus legs and look for a mag called Juice Boost. Next Go to the star where this mission starts and drop all of your inventory except the mag. Then go to the Leighs Fine Liquor (Palisades) and Stock up on wine (It's going to take a couple tries to get it right) Next go to the Grotto underneath the start of the challenge there is a blender and make as many quick steps as you can. Go to the start of the mission and drop all your quicksteps near the railing except for one and the mag. Drink them and then drop your mag near the rail but away from your collection of quick steps. Now pick up all of the massagers that you dropped earlier and start the challenge. Instantly drop all your inventory in the green zone and start looking for others. I will try and get a video to make this easier as explaining the locations is a little difficult but I finished with 1 second left.
Places to look
!!!NOTHING IS ON THE 2ND FLOOR!!!
-Couches
-Zombies Hands
-In the Grotto
-On top of slot machines
-In shrubbery
-Randomly on the Ground
-Start with grabbing the furthest ones away

Now you want to have the max amount in your inv. before you drop them off, then pick up a mag and a quickstep and drop the mag, rinse and repeat Now the best part is you want to have 30 before the 1 minute mark and the last 10 can stay on you but you just need to be standing in the green zone before the timer ends. Good luck its a pain in the ass
Side note much easier to do if you don't have Slappie shooting fire balls are you

As Requested video below
I apologize for the terrible quality but hopefully it helps

Killing Floor- Boomstick combo card (Shotgun + Pitchfork)is needed. The Boomstick special kill is worth 2500 PP. You need at least two of these to make the 35000pp requirement. Pitchfork is in Palisades near the atlantica entrance and the shotgun is 2nd Floor gun shop. It is super easy once you have them

Murder on the High Seas-Super BFG

Rule #1-Same as before Quick step run your ass off

Do Not Try This At Home Boomstick Combo Card gets you the most points

Thirst Quencher-Impossible to do without the drinking magazine or sports outfit (Americana Casino-Bernies BBQ 2nd floor, climb across the lights to the little ledge Zombrex was here in DR2) Fill up your inventory with drinks before hand makes it easier
From the start run to the poker room, then the bar in the center and finish in the stage area where you face the magicians should have plenty of alcohol

Ijiek Motors Present-Motorcycle-Dont Crash that easy

Party Hard- Use Fire crackers or just run out grab their attention and run back in pretty easy

Extreme Off-Road- Motorcycle with Chainsaw, chainsaw can be found on top of the rafters on the stage south of the Yucitan Very easy to get

Scaffolding Shuffle-Just use the vehicle near the star. Before you start the challenge move the jeep next to the star. Start the challenge, hop in, drive to the left side of scaffolding, and get out. Should be there in around 30 seconds. Gives you more time for error seeing the jump to the second ledge can be a pain.

Killer Rides-Stock up on fire crackers. Remove the barriers to the ship that flips upside down and the saucer that goes up when you press the button. At the start work with the Saucer that you press the button to operate throw fire crackers let them pile on it and then press the button. Finish up with the ship throw the fire crackers in the dipped down part

Fast Food-Same as Balloon Man. Moose Head and Quick Step

Shutter Bug You need 2 magazines in you inventory
-Photography 1-Uranus Zone- First Aid station on coffee table in corner
-Photography 2-Palisades Mall, Second Floor, Robsaka Mobile
-Fill the rest of your inventory with fountain fireworks
Start the Challenge and jam two or three zombies with them and take a picture as close to their face as you can. Rinse and repeat

Pawned Prestige Boomstick!!!!!

Robot Race-Quickstep and Repulse are needed for this one. Drink them prior to the challenge and run your ass off.
(Rabblerouser's tip -get the clown car and park it next to the challenge icon and then use that to get over there quickly)

Burn the Bodies-Either make or buy the Fire Spitter. (Toy Gun + Tiki Torch or Palisades pawn shop) you need at least 5 of them to be on the safe side. From the Start make your way towards the palisades entrance there is a massive group of zombies there should have plenty of time left once you hit 120 kills

Lightning Never Strikes Twice- Easiest with the Tesla Ball and the Electric Crusher (Battery+Sledgehammer). You have plenty of time and Zombies

Tunnel Vision- NEED A MOTORCYCLE- From the Star get on the tracks and turn left and drive. Don't crash

Mad About Hats- There is an unlimited supply of Lizard Masks in Ye olde toy box right near the challenge.

No Thanks Ill Stand- As usual Quickstep and I found that using the Blambow was the easiest you need at least 6 of them in your inv. if you fail just die and reload check point. You want to walk around and see where the biggest clusters of chairs are best places are
-The beginning with wooden tables dont waste to much time but try and get at least 8-10
-Slots in front of starting point
-Blackjack tables in front of Platinum Strip Doors (12 Chairs)
-The Circle Bar (12 Chairs)
-The cluster of yellow chairs in the area
The key is to just keep shooting while aiming DTS and try to avoid exploding yourself

Tunnel Of Blood- Motorcycle with Chainsaw easiest 500 kills ever

One Armed Bandit 2 Money Hackers, there are 2 ATM's and then just hack the slots

Alternative Method-Stock up on Money cases $10,000 in each one. Uranus zone respawns them. There is one in the bank vault and 2 in the Bar's upper level. One behind the counter when you reach the top and another one in the vip area. There is also a $60,000 one that won't respawn if you are holding it located in a hidden area. If you do the Robot Race afterwards climb the robots right arm and go out onto the thumb, jump across, look left and climb in the window. The first room has nothing much, but when you go into the next room there are two baskets on the floor, one has a handgun and money case.

Double Trouble- You are going to want 2 Painkillers and Quicksteps in case you mess up the first time its pretty easy, next you want a Combo card melee weapon of your choosing and a LMG (Yucitan Food Court entrance up on ledge between Baron Von Brathaus and Food Court Entrance) or a Super BFG. Use your juices and start the challenge. When you fight them focus on just one like in the campaign, melee until you get knocked down a pp marker will pop above her head and then she will run. At this point pull out your LMG and just fire shots at her until she runs back at you. Rinse and repeat

Rooftop Massacre 2- Super BFG

Again Thanks for the help Hitechkoolaid

Are the co-op challenges different than the single-player challenges? I'm just wondering cause I'm watching this video here and I didn't see the challenge here in this guide.

Co-op challenges have different names, but are basically the same except the total needed for each medal doubles.

With this guide, I was able to get gold medals on almost every challenge first try. Stiff back and No Thanks, I'll Stand to 2 tries. I just stayed in aiming mode and fired like crazy around the place. I hit the 75 chair mark with over 10 seconds to spare.

Silver Strip Smackdown- Boomstick

There need to be a better method than this. I'm packed with two Boomsticks and achieve only 29.500 PP. When I look on the leaderboards, there are people with 90.000 PP (if not hacked). The time window is too short for Boomsticks.

HiTechKoolAid
10-15-2011, 07:23 PM
It's Boomstick + all 3 combat magazines. You get like 3250 per kill that way.

Yeah worked just fine. I was too lazy to search so I started the challenge with only one COMBAT magazine (#2, 10% additional PP for kills with weapons).

The Food Court is a good place for Blambows. Two bow and arrows above Lombardi's the candy store, and a Dynamite up there as well just further along sitting on a box. Then another Dynamite in the Maintence Area near Cheesecake Mania.
Exit to Yucatan Casino and back in to get more, Rinse and Repeat as needed.

Its still not as amusing as the combo weapon the two make and yes I made several. I missed that jump like 3 times, I hit two or 3 zombies I shouldnt have, picked up the cookies, didnt pick up the massager while going up the slide (I thought I had a full inv lol) and I think theres a few more...

Lightning Never Strikes Twice- Easiest with the Tesla Ball and the Electric Crusher (Battery+Sledgehammer). You have plenty of time and Zombies

after attempting this method and failing over half a dozen times, i decided to try out some of the other electrical weapons and i highly recommend the tesla ball and lightning gun. i made three lightning guns and one tesla ball and got 254 kills on my first attempt and #7 on the leaderboards.

The Blambow works.

Jump on to countertops and tables, so the zombies can't reach you and you have a better angle to fire. Then spray arrows at chairs and move on to the next counter or table.

I started jumping on the counter right near the start and taking out the restaurant chairs, then jumped on the bar's outer counter and took out nearly all of the slot machine chairs. Then I jumped on to a blackjack table and took out the chairs in that area. The only chairs I shot from the ground were the bar stools. That kept the zombies from screwing me up, and made the task a lot easier.

I used 50 arrows and blew up about 85 chairs. It took about 3 tries once I started jumping on counters and knew where the big masses of chairs were. It took a lot of cursing-filled attempts to figure that out, though. :)

He only sells them if you have them in your inventory already. It's like the one on the Silver Strip. If you have Flamethrowers made, he'll sell them, otherwise he doesn't have them.

Probably impossible seeing the time it takes to collect, return, and empty out your inventory. You would have to make 4 complete full trips and I just don't see it happening, but I could be wrong. I would think 10 slots is the minimum you want to try this challenge with.

Does anyone have any videos or alternate methods for Killer Rides and Party Hard? I can't seem to get anywhere with them.

For Party Hard - there is a toy space ship on the grass island north of the gap. X activate the space ship just outside the area, and all the zombies will zone in on it. The space ship will follow you so just walk and lead them all inside.

Killer Rides - remove all barriers from the lifting off spaceship ride and stock up on firecrackers. Just keep the ride going and keep tossing firecrackers right at the spaceship; it makes kills lifting off, and when landing.

For anyone that's doing the Party Hard challenge and is having a hard time with Firecrackers, make a Zombait at the bar in Uranus Zone (Large Soda + Ketchup or Mustard). To get there, go to Uranus Zone from Fortune Park and search the bar to your left. Then it's a breeze from there. As long as you're not wearing the Ninja costume obviously.

I think it's random spawn. First time on the bike I got about 300 kills, second time on the bike I got 600 kills, they just seemed to spawn in thicker groups the second time when the first time there were the same amount, but they were scattered all over the tracks making it hard to kill while constantly moving forward.

What ride is that exactly? Is that the one right in front of the door, or is it the one that's activated by a button mentioned in the guide? Because I was looking for that one and couldn't find anything.

Also, I haven't gotten a chance to do the co-op, but how does it work when two people each need a magazine (like for the drinking one) or just any situation where two people need a specific item like that where there's usually only one.

For the rides, it can be either, the activated or the ship. Co-op not sure. I don't think the magazines respawn if someone has one, what might work is have one person with the magazine and the other in the full Sports Fan outfit, or have one with the magazine drink all the alchohol standing in one place, while the other is in Ninja gear with quickstep and runs around grabbing a full inventory and brings it back.

Okay, thanks, but I still don't know where the activated ride is. I can't find one like that around anywhere.

It's near the boat. If you come in to Uranus from the Strip through the tunnel, it is directly to your left. It is flush with the ground with a circle of barricades around it. Just past it is a small podium with a button on it. If you look on the map, in the North East part of Uranus, it's the big blue circle that doesn't highlight when you cursor over it.

I got to 497 in my first try.. annoying isn't it when you're only like a few kills away and could have got those few more kills within a second if the timer wasn't aready on 1.. lol

Asked further up but it got buried, if you only do challenges in coop, do they stack with solo challenges? So do all challenge achievements unlock? Or do you need to do both Solo and Coop?

Yeah totally. I rushed like crazy through these tunnels, looking for more zombies at one spot but no luck. Like the others said, depends on the different spawn times.

That's a good question, but I somehow think they don't, I already got gold on the one challenge I tried in co-op.. should probably find this out before I go and put hard work into solo.

I was having some trouble with using the Fire Spitter for Burn the Bodies. Maybe I was just doing it wrong. Either way, I just went to the pawn shop outside the casino, bought a flamethrower, and did it with just that easy as pie. Seemed like an easier method to me, just thought I'd throw it out there.

It's 30, count again! ;)

Tenselemming & all you other dear users. :)

I had no problems with the 28 challenges but I'm really struggling with these two, can only get Silver:

Edit: Just got GOLD with three Super BFGs, one LMG and the complete Ninja Outfit. Hit 77 chairs. Nice! :woop:

Tunnel Of Blood- Motorcycle with Chainsaw easiest 500 kills ever.

Are there any other suggestions other than in this guide. Tried it, not working. For the first one I tried even Assault Rifles or the Super BFG and for the second one I also tried the SUV, still no Gold. :o

I made a save near yucatan I think. if anyone didn't know, there's a chainsaw on top of the stage where the rock band was, which is close to the bike trailer so you can try again quickly.

just blaze, for tunnel of blood are you strictly staying in the narrow tunnels or going out on to the tracks? i went through the tunnel in front of me at the start, then went out to the tracks and did laps until time ran out, aiming for the biggest groups of zombies. i only ended with 510 or 520 kill but it still worked for me in only two attempts. i used the motrocycle with chainsaws by the way.

Yeah no problem. I only used two Super BFGs though and when the timer reached like minus 15-20 seconds I switched to the LMG and blasted every single chair on my sight.
Also the complete Ninja Outfit was quite helpful cause I lost important seconds due to one or two zombies who grabbed me (while wearing any other suit).

Ii took me forever with the blambow as well. Finally I just spammed the hell out of it using about 3 shots per group of chairs. I also aimed at zombies since it seemed that the blast radius was bigger if it hit a zombie first. I never tried the super BFG, if that works I would give it a try.

The Super BFG works like magic, if you see 3-4 chairs in one row simply blast away. It has also a wide range.

As I said before I mixed it up with the LMG, cause the last 15-20 seconds are really crazy to get a few more chairs if you only see a single one at each slot machine.

Easiest way I've found to do this one is to avoid wearing the Ninja outfit and drink a Zombait. You can find the necessary ingredients and a mixer in the nearby Food Court area. After starting the challenge, drink the Zombait and run around in the crowd to lure them in. Placing Hunks of Meat near the stage and using Firecrackers can help out as well if you're trying for a higher score.

Yeah that was my mistake when trying to do this in COOP, cause I had the entire Ninja Outfit on and wasn't a big help, even with ZOMBAIT (Taco+Apple at the Rojo Diablo Mexican Restaurant), so went I backstage "during the challenge" and found a head piece to put on which nullifies the Ninja Outfit's ability. We made it in the last 15 seconds with 36 zombies.

For no thanks I'll stand I just filled my inventory with grenades from the gun shop and one spot for a melee weapon that swung down. Then I figured out where the highest concentration of chairs was and threw the grenades toward them. With a lot of time left I only had around 15 more more chairs to break so I ran around and used my melee weapon. Worked the first time I tried it this way.

Hey Blaze, since the Super BFG method is your go-to for "No Thanks...", I'll ask you.

When you use Super BFGs, do the blasts penetrate through the slot machines, or do you have to have a clear shot at them (aside from stray zombies)? I'm thinking about trying this method for the co-op version and I want as much info to run through my head before go time.

Well what I did was, I looked for chairs that were one behind another, mostly 3-4 of them in a row and for them only one shot was needed. I don't think the shot will penetrate through the slot machines.

COOP-Example:

I was locked & loaded with 2 Super BFGs & 1 LMG and I went the left way, starting from the challenge star. My partner was strapped with 3-4 Bamblows, he went for the chairs on the right side and we met each other right in front of the entrance to the Platinum Strip.

When the timer showed like only 15-20 seconds left I switched to my LMG and shot every single chair on my sight by holding :ltbut: and pressing :rtbut: as soon as I saw one.

We were both wearing the complete NINJA OUTFIT. Also drinking QUICKSTEP before the challenge starts is quite helpful.

I already sorta tried that method with a Super BFG.. it didn't really work at all for me, the Blamblow worked better, but the thing is, I get the same results from using the blamblow as I would just jumping on top of chairs with Quick Step.. (50 or so chairs) its working out to be impossible with me using any method..

Just a addition guide to challenge Double Trouble for gold (got it at 40 secs)

3x lighting gun (B.F.G + electrical rod) (one or more for back up)
1x pain killer
juice boost mag

backup just in case ammo runs out (which it should not)
1x katana
blades mag

once challenge start drink the pain killer, the lighting guns should be next in your inventory, start aiming at one of the ladies and fire away (I only used one and half lighting gun ammo with only one health bar scrapped off) (done @ lvl 50)..

Hopes that helps others having problem with this challenge getting gold.. thanks

i know all the strategies but i wanted to add this one and make note that who ever does a Trophy guide you are more than welcome to use this strategy in the guide. This works for BOTH SP and CO-op

Erotic Magazine - Slot Ranch Casino Mens Room Stall
Photo Magazine - Robaska (next to High Noon) in Palisades Mall
Photo Magazine - First aid Station on the Table in Uranus Zone

grab a few Fountain Fireworks as well (for co-op)

The first Picture you take of the 4 Probes will be 6000+ then 3000+ just take a few of these then mess around with the fountain Fireworks as by this time you will be well over 10000.

i just tried this and my personal best was 4600 (barely gold). i just got 16000 where you only need 10000 for co-op gold.

Also About the Ill Stand Challenge i was gaming with a guy he suggested Hail Mary's. said he had 80 chairs with about 30 sec to spare. i have not had a chance to test this one YET.

For BURN THE BODIES, I did it on my first try with the Flamethrower (Gas Canister + Water Gun). There was Gas Canisters right outside the Yucatan by Chuck's truck and a watergun around the stairway leading up to the Shoal nightclub and one in the Toy store in the Palisades where you find Slappy. I only needed one though.

It's actually pretty easy. You just gotta find big groups of zombies and do extremely quick bursts of flames or swipe from side to side (for REALLY big groups). So long as your flamethrower even brushes them, they'll burst into flames and you can run off and burn more zombies while waiting for other groups to die. (Best with Ninja outfit, of course). You can easily get 10-15 zombies in one burst.

For the gathering zombies in an area ones (Slot ranch stage and Fortune Park rock path), I found it was much easier to wait just for night. At night, they're more aggressive and in bigger numbers. Firecrackers were hard to use IMO. Just by running up to them and sloooowly moving back into the area, they'll just follow YOU. DON'T use the Ninja outfit. But there's a headdress by the stage and Flower head thing in the bushes by the rock path for temporarily getting rid of the ninja ability.

Hope that helps.

The first room has nothing much, but when you go into the next room there are two baskets on the floor, one has a handgun and money case.

i dont see this money case in the secret room

25000 what? If it's PP you need to get the Combat Mags + Boomsticks (Pitchfork/Shotgun). If it's money then get a ton of Money Hackers and when using them, manually aim (with LT) at the slot machine/ATM and you can use about 2-3% before it gives you the money.

These challenges were a lot of fun. They're very easy but it's still rewarding when you figure out what your load-out should be for some of them. It's all up to you but I'd say that using a guide is to miss the point of the challenges (even if you want quick achievements) . It's interesting to come here and see how others approached certain challenges afterwards though.

Some really good tips here.

An easy way to get the Stiff Back challenge is to simply start it, then immediately press B again and quit. All the dildos, sorry I mean “massagers” will remain in the mall. Now you can look for where they are and map yourself a route that’s easy for you. While you’re ding this pick up and discard anything that might be in your way. Also, you don’t need to bring any "massagers" into the mall with you as they will be provided with this method. Remember after you drop off the second 12, grab another quickstep because it should run out sometime on the second run.

I know is been a few months since this post, but for anyone else having trouble with the Tunnel of Blood challenge (this was the only one I had serious trouble with), combine the remote mine method from No Thanks I'll Stand with the normal slicycle route.

By laying 12 remote mines in the corners and tunnels I wasn't going to ride my motorcycle through (especially stairwells and warhouse corners where zombies tend to congregate), and setting them off right after the challenge began, I was able to give myself a 50 zombie head start. Since I got 502 as my final tally on this attempt (my sixth or seventh), it saved me tons of aggrevation.

Typically the requirement is twice of what you need, sometimes even more than that but it seems easier to gain PP using two people with Boomsticks rather than just one (at least on Silverstrip Showdown, I actually had to find all the Combat magazines in order to break the score there).

On Extreme Off Road, it's very easy to get 450-510 kills with just the SUV if you choose the right path in killing all the zombies on Silver Strip. However I definitely recommend Super BFG for this on co-op as the jump goes to 800 and you won't have enough time to kill everything with just the SUV (and alternatively, a Slicecycle for the other player).

On No thanks, I'll stand I actually had to find a different method...co-op it was no issue as me and my partner just used shotguns + quickstep but singleplayer I always fell short by 10-20 chairs. I used the method shown earlier in this thread where you set up Remote Mines, blow up 40-50 chairs as the challenge starts then just jump on everything else.

Anyways, all challenges are done on my part and this game is 1000'd today after I got all those 100K kills x.x
