NOTE: This is my first ever achievement guide/roadmap for X360A. This is my contribution to the community, since I have benefited from it so much over the past couple of years. This guide is solely for the purpose of X360A, and may not be redistributed without my consent or X360A's.

Overview
- Estimated achievement difficulty: 2/10
- Offline: 40 (900)
- Online: 8 (100) *Note: Multiple "offline" achievements can be done online, this is just for ones that you have to be connected to LIVE for. Although I achieved "Unicorn Hunter" as soon as I imported my FM3 profile, so I am assuming that this achievement will not always HAVE to be online, but for those who didn't get it the way I did, then you will need to bid on a car in the Auction House to receive it, or participate in a sponsored Turn 10 community event; therefore making it an online achievement.
- Approximate amount of time to 1000: 150+ Hours (See: Bucket List & Factory Driver)
- Minimum number of play-throughs needed: 1
- Number of missable achievements: 3 (If you do not have a FM3 save, internet connection, or a Kinect, you will not be able to 1k this game!)
- Glitched achievements: None
- Do cheat codes disable achievements?: No cheats
- Does difficulty affect achievements?: No. Harder difficulties will net you more Driver level faster, but there are no achievements that you will miss simply for using Easy difficulty or driver assists.

*HINT: For the "EXCLUSIVE TASTE" and "FERRARI COLLECTOR" achievements you can gifts the cars to people. You are only able to gift them however if it is a Level Reward Car or a car that you bought with CR. You cannot gift cars that have been bought with tokens. However, cars that have been purchased with tokens DO count for this achievement.

Also, for the achievement in which you need to purchase or own certain expensive cars, utilize the Auction House to your fullest extent. You can find some great deals on here.

After you load up the game, they will put you in a one lap race on the Bernese Alps. You don't even have to come in first... just finish the race to unlock this achievement.

As you play through Forza Motorsport 4 you will earn "XP", which solely reflects your driver level; and everything you do - online races, event select, and rivals mode all contribute to this rank. So pretty much just play the game normally and this will come if you are going for the event completion or season achievements.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UP+2wzI=.jpg Bucket List - Finish 1st in every single race in the Event List in Career play mode. (80http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
This will be one of your last achievements in the game, if not the last... I know it was for me. This will most likely consume a lot of time, but it will not be as bad when you are working towards other achievements. Just remember that the season races count towards the number of completed events in your event list, so try to change up your races in season to cover the most ground on this achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UPg1IX4=.jpg Forza World Tourer - Finish a race on every race track in Forza Motorsport 4. (60http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
This achievement is better to keep track of. I never got this through normal play, and I ended up working my way almost entirely through this list before I unlocked it on an 1/8 mile drag strip. Remember that the reverse track do count, and so do drag strips. Easiest thing to do is setup a free race, or an online match (if you have a buddy who wants to join in). Set it to circuit race, with 1 lap, and use your fastest track car. After you make your way through circuit races, switch it over to drag, and finish that list, making sure it is only set to 1 heat per round. When going for this achievement, it only took me three days to get it, and that was only a few hours here and there. It really is not as intimidating as it sounds, trust me.

Just complete year after year of season mode, you will eventually unlock this. Although the seasons get longer every time, they are still relatively short, and shouldn't take you much time at all compared to some of the "harder" achievements.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/-f0LUg==.jpg Unicorn Hunter -Be the winning bidder on any "unicorn" car in the Auction House. (10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
You can get this either one of three ways; You can import a save from FM3 that has VIP status. Another easy way to get this is to compete in Turn 10 sponsored events in the Rivals mode on FM4. Or, you can get it the old fashioned way, by bidding on a "unicorn" car, which Turn10 releases every so often (note that these cars are usually VERY expensive - and are usually hard to obtain.) As a side note, Unicorn Cars CANNOT be gifted or auctioned/sold by normal/VIP players, only those at Turn 10 themselves can do this. Due to recent modding and hacking, it makes it even more difficuilt for those of use who play the game legit to obtain it this way. Turn 10 has been banning people and resetting cash, let's just hope it actually does something.

Here is a list of Unicorn Cars:

2002 Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type-A
2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera
2007 Ferrari F430 Scuderia
2002 BMW M3-GTR "Street Version"

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UPwCKEY=.jpg Grease Monkey -Create a car tuning file for your car. (10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Just go to: Upgrade>Tune Setup>Start>Save Current Setup then select an empty slot and save the tune.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UP2Xyoc=.jpg Painter -Create a paint job or vinyl group for your car. (10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Just go to: Paint>Paint Car>Save To Current Car, and the achievement should unlock.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/+3j0pQ==.jpg Show Off -Upload a movie to Forzamotorsport.net. (10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Save a replay from any race, it can even be an online one. Once you do, from the career menu, go to My Profile>Media>My Replays>Select a replay>Load... then when the clip loads, select the little film reel icon, crop the film, and upload a 5 second clip to http://www.forzamotorsport.net.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1751/UPzuy9s=.jpg Entrepreneur -Sell a car tuning, paint job, or vinyl group from your storefront. (10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png)
You can easily trade this with a partner, just put up a tune in the storefront for $1000 and have a friend buy it, and return the favor for them. If you do not know how to upload a tune, from the Main Menu go to: Community>Storefront>My Storefront>Press "A" to upload a new tuning setup>name, price and place the tune - and once it sells on the storefront you will receive your achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1751/+ucQ0Q==.jpg Speed Demon -Reach 240 mph in any car. (10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png)
Go into an online match, pick the SSC Ultimate Aero and for a track pick the Old Le Mans track, not the Le Sarth, as there are kinks in the straight that will not allow you to get up to speed. Doing it in this car is relatively easy, since it puts the Veyron to shame. If you have all of the add-ons you can also use the Veyron Super Sport... use anything you want, as long as it is fast.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1751/-9wC5w==.jpg Car Explorer -Fully explore any car in Autovista. (10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png)
No, you don't need Kinect for this achievement... When exploring the car in Autovista, just move around it slowly and make sure you click on everything, there should be multiple things on the outside and inside... like opening the trunk, hood and doors, checking the engine wheels and lights. You also have to sit in all the seats, turn the car on, get some narrative and closely inspect the engine, and I also did the challenge for the vehicle, but I am not sure if that is part of the requirement for the achievement or not.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/-jz6dA==.jpg On Location -Take a photo of any car in every Home Space. (20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
From the career screen, select Cars>Change Homespace, and make sure you are on the first one. Take a picture of your car (it doesn't have to get uploaded, only saved locally) and switch home-spaces to the next one in the queue... wash, rinse, and repeat. There are six home-spaces which should take less than 3 minutes to photograph on.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/+n7pHg==.jpg Star in a Reasonably Priced Car -Complete a lap around the TopGear Test Track while driving a KIA cee'd. (20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
You can either host up a game online and do this, or you can do it in Rivals mode when going for the "Born Competitor" achievement, and oddly enough the name of the challenge reflects the name of this achievement... making it really easy.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/+F-gqw==.jpg Clubbed Up -Create or join a Car Club. (15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
If you have friends who have the game, you can ask for an invite to their club, and if you are one of those "lonely" types, you can just as easily make your own club... since they don't cost any money and don't have a prerequisite rank.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/+b8YOA==.jpg My Car is Your Car -Share a car in your garage with your Car Club. (10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Just go to your club garage and share a stupid car (if you only want the achievement, and are not really using the club feature with other people). If you are, you should try to help out your club and share cars that people may need for the event select or the season mode.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UP17KRo=.jpg Autocrosser -Complete 10 Autocross events without hitting gate cones. (10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
There are Auto-X events in the Rivals mode, and there are exactly 10 events, just perfect them and you will get the achievement. Also, you will be knocking out a chunk of "Born Competitor" this way. You can also replay any race as many times as you want. I find the quickest and easiest way is to use the Ferrari 360 Modena on the Laguna Seca track in Rivals mode.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UPrL8ko=.jpg Outta Time -Reach 88 mph in a DeLorean. (10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Take the DeLorean on the Nurburgring, whip a 180 at the start and peg it down the back stretch.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UP9pGbM=.jpg Daily Rewards -Visit the Message Center on at least five unique days. (5http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
This one is pretty much self explanatory, and I am pretty sure you have to be connected to LIVE to do this, since Turn10 issues you a daily bonus when accessing the community section. Just visit your Message Center (LT) on five separate days.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UP1IEAY=.jpg Here's My Card -Create a custom playercard with badges and titles. (10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Play Career>My Profile>Edit Playercard... Pick a fancy badge and a title, and you are done.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UP9aIK8=.jpg Rivals Shootout -Race and defeat an opponent in Rivals mode. (10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Go to the rivals mode and select a race, an opponent will automatically be chosen for you, and they usually suck. Beat the (generous) time that they give you, and earn yourself a pretty little 10 gamerscore.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UP+P-Js=.jpg Legendary Battle -Beat a Ferrari 330 P4 in any race while driving a Ford GT40.(15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Just get a friend to go online beat him... or if you don't have any friends you can always set up an easy AI and give them a 330 and you select the GT40.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UP5vBAg=.jpg Awesome Drift -Earn a perfect Drift score. (20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Earn 5000 points in a single drift. Easiest thing is to go on the Catalunya School Circuit with a car that has a little over 500hp and preferably tuned for drift. You should be able to search the marketplace for a free drift tune, or there are some cars that you can use like a Pontiac GTO or Shelby Daytona that actually drift quite well.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/-qUDuw==.jpg Perfect Turn -Earn a perfect Turn score. (15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Just use and follow the proper racing line through the track, while maintaining a good amount of speed. Using a lower HP car is preferred since you don't have to worry as much about wheel-spin and skidding. If you are using a higher powered car, throttle control is your best friend.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/-0X7KA==.jpg Flat Out -Earn a perfect Speed score. (5http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
You should be able to get this one here when going for the "Speed Demon" achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UP3R6ck=.jpg Nice Pass -Earn a perfect Pass score. (15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
This one should come to you randomly while playing, it is easiest to get this achievement when starting from the back of the pack. Just pass a few AI while getting close, but not touching them.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UPuy8xY=.jpg Slipstreamin' -Earn a perfect Draft score. (5http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
This one should come to you randomly while playing as well, it is easiest to get this achievement when you are on a track that has a long straight, like Nurburgring or the Old Le Mans. Just stay behind the leader of the pack and track not to touch anything, while staying close to his back bumper.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/+pgMNg==.jpg Exclusive Taste -Own the five most expensive cars in the game (not including DLC). (50http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
This can either be extremely easy, or incredibly hard... well either way it is stupid. You pretty much have to accumulate 38 million credits, and waste it all on stupid cars that you probably don't care about. The easy thing about this is that you do actually get one of the cars, the 330 P4 at Driver Level 30, so that is 9 mil you can keep in your pocket, and if you want to keep the other 29 mil in your pocket just buy 12 car tokens which will cost you 800msp for 13 tokens. If you just want to get the game completed and not waste your hard earned CR, you could just pay $10 for it... (Which in my opinion the game is worth it. They come out with great DLC every month, are always hosting community events, and Turn 10 actually listen to their user-base. They are one of the few developers that have not yet succumbed to the noob migration. Catering a game specifically to the taste of the mass public, just to maximize profits.)

The 5 cars in the list for the achievement are as follows:

1964 Ferrari 250 GTO - 10 million credits
1967 Ferrari 330 P4 - 9 million credits
1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rosa - 8 million credits
1958 Aston Martin DBR1 - 6 million credits
1965 Shelby Cobra Daytona - 5 million credits

If however, you are patient enough to earn this without tokens. Just work on all of your other achievements like "Factory Driver" and "Bucket List". Just remember that if you purchase a car with a token, you cannot gift it to another player.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UPhzAjA=.jpg Look Ma, No Controller! -Use Kinect to drive any car in Free Play. (5http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
You DO need the Kinect for this achievement, luckily enough my sister has a Kinect... if you are not as fortunate you may have to bring your gamer-tag and save with you to a friends house and use their Kinect, or just buy one for the achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UPsYM8U=.jpg Factory Driver -Get any Car Manufacturer to Affinity level 50. (60http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
This achievement is honestly not as hard as everyone makes it out to be. To get to level 50, you need 2,642,500 XP. If I figured it out correctly, from start to finish (not including load times) you can attain this in 9 hours.

I will tell you this secret..

First: When going for this achievement, try to stick with Ferrari, this is what I have done it with... and I could not imagine doing it with anything else. They have a great selection of cars, spanning across a wide variety of classes, and the method I used calls for a Ferrari.

Second: While progressing through Event List and Career Mode, try to use a Ferrari whenever you can. By the time I was done with my Season 10, I was at Affinity Level 20. After that I started grinding through Event Select, using nothing but Ferrari's.

Third: Once you get to Level 25, this is where it gets easy. As the difficulty backs off, and it is only 50k XP for every rank, which might sound like a lot, but honestly isn't.

In event select, find a race called Ferrari GT Club. (4th block down, 6th block from the left.)

Use a Ferrari F50 GT (PI: 875)... I found it to be the fastest car for this race. From the three tracks you are given pick the middle one, on the Bernese Alps. This race can be completed in under 4 minutes, and because of the XP bonus, you will earn 15k XP. So using this method you can roughly gain a rank every 12 minuted or so...

Keep this in mind as well: You cannot hire a driver to get this achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UPr4y1Y=.jpg Born Competitor -Post a time in every Rivals mode event. (30http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Pretty self-explanatory, just go to Rivals mode, select the first group, then the first race, and keep moving down each list in the order, that is how I did it. Try to do this with a short time period because Turn is is always changing the events on there, and you don't want them to swap out a group of events that you just completed a week prior.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UPjZwuM=.jpg Forza Faithful -Import a file from Forza Motorsport 3. (15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Luckily enough I was a big Forza addict before this game and I just happened to have a save on my HDD for FM3. If you don't, just rent the game or borrow it from a friend.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UP2dzDI=.jpg Kingpin -Knock down a gold bowling pin in Car Bowling. (5http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Just do a bowling event on the Top Gear Track, if you are playing through the Season, you should get to attempt this pretty quickly, and it is pretty much impossible to miss every golden pin... so you should at least hit one and get this. Pretty much a free achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UP-D2WA=.jpg Ferrari Collector -Own every Ferrari included on Disc 1. (40http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Here is the full Ferrari list:

For Unicorn Hunter if you were a VIP in Forza 3 and you import your profile you will be automatically gifted 2 cars that are considered Unicorns in Forza 4 and the achievement will unlock. (The 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera and the 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia are the two Unicorns.)

If you were not a Forza 3 VIP/lost your save etc. you will have either win a Turn 10 competition which offers a Unicorn Car as a prize or you can bid on the Auction House under the Unicorn Cars tab, although this method is very difficult as Unicorn Cars go for a VERY high price.

As a side note, Unicorn Cars CANNOT be gifted or auctioned/sold by normal/VIP players only those at Turn 10 themselves can do this. For a full list of Unicorn Cars please see the FAQ HERE. (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=335519)

^^ I thought your info for Unicorn Hunter was a bit messy so I typed out my own one out if you want to use it. All information is confirmed to be true at the time of writing.

Im with this guy you need to make the font small, but IMO you dont need spoiler tags for this guide. I would only use them if you talking about a story mode in a game.

But good effort on the guide so far...

Thanks for all of the information guys...

I was tired at the time of writing this, so I overlooked the spoiler tags and the font size of the gamerscore... I originally wrote this for my own forum which works a little bit different than X360A. Seeing has how I am used to phpBB rather than vBulletin.

I am going to correct everything now, let me know if anything else needs to be fixed.

Also, I will give credit where it is due, thanks guys!

You can get the "Flat Out" Achievement at the same time as the "Speed Demon" achievement, if you use the Burgatti Veyron on the Le Mans track.

You've also missed an achievement -

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/forza-motorsport-4/achievement/56916-Star-in-a-Reasonably-Priced-Car.html

I can't see the Top Gear achievement listed? So here is a little go at helping;

Select 'Play Career', 'Go Race', 'Rivals' and then the second tab called 'TopGear Rivals'.

Select the first challenge call 'A Reasonably Priced Car' and complete the lap.

This is not necessary (bold) as I have no clue how to even do a challenge and I have this achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1751/UPuy8xY=.jpg Slipstreamin' -Earn a perfect Pass score. (5http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png)
This one should come to you randomly while playing as well, it is easiest to get this achievement when you are on a track that has a long straight, like Nurburgring or the Old Le Mans. Just stay behind the leader of the pack and track not to touch anything, while staying close to his back bumper.

This should be Draft not Pass.

Other wise its all good.

@master_shake_350 (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/member.php?u=53051)

The Draft/Pass mix-up is now fixed. As for this bit with the "Car Explorer" achievement, after you start up the car (in this case we are using the 458 Italia) all you have to do is start the car up and then there should be a steering wheel icon above the steering wheel, if you click on it a pop up will say "UP FOR A CHALLENGE?"

Like I said I wasn't sure if it had to be done or not, since it is accessed through Autovista mode, I for one got the achievement after climbing into the passenger seat, but this was AFTER I did the challenge. So I wasn't sure if it HAD to be done or not... just figured I would mention it, just in case...

@SuperSkyline89 (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/member.php?u=302305)

Thanks, it is appreciated.

@Matt36 (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/member.php?u=443136)

Thank you for pointing that out! I don't know how I missed the best (IMO) achievement in the game! Like I said, I was tired when posting it, and now I am coming across all of these mistakes...:(

As for Flat-out, I already had that covered towards the bottom of the third post, but thanks, I actually went back to check and make sure it wasn't excluded from the list.

Also, for anyone wanting that drift tune, I will try to upload it to the Storefront tonight. For some reason the FM4 servers are down right now and gifting/selling is a bit dodgy. I will be selling the tune for my 240 for 10k a piece, and it is best used for the Catalunya School track.

Just get a friend to go online and do a lap of the speedway in the Ferrari and beat him... or if you don't have any friends (or you ate your Wheaties this morning and are feeling dangerous) you can always find ways to earn this by yourself, I'm sure of it.

you can do this on your own.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/+pgMNg==.jpg Exclusive Taste -Own the five most expensive cars in the game (not including DLC). (50http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
This will either be extremely easy, or incredibly stupid... well either way it is stupid.

1965 Shelby Cobra Daytona - 5 million credits

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UPhzAjA=.jpg Look Ma, No Controller!

I can guarantee you that this will be one of your last achievements, as this is rumored to take absolutely forever. Even Turn10 stated that their goal was to have less that 1 percent of people attain this in under a 24 month period. I for one don't think that it will take THAT long. Just stick races that net you bonus Affinity points, and try to stick to only a few of the manufacturers.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UPr4y1Y=.jpg Born Competitor -Post a time in every Rivals mode event. (30http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png)
Pretty self-explanatory, just go to Rivals mode, select the first group, then the first race, and keep moving down each list in the order, that is how I did it.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1751/UPjZwuM=.jpg Forza Faithful -Import a file from Forza Motorsport 3.

Awesome Drift

1) Free Play
2) Quick Race
3) Shelby Cobra 427
4) Benchmark Test Track Speedway (1st track listed)
5) Race Difficulty - set it up like this;
- ABS OFF
- Steering Normal
- Stability OFF
- Traction OFF
- Shifting AUTO
- Suggested line OFF
- Rewind ON
- Opponent EASY

Can EASILY do this on the first corner. If you lose a high score, you can rewind and continue it. You can shift left and right once you press A for handbreak to continue the drift. NO TUNING REQUIRED! Use a stock/base Shelby, not from your garage.

Hope this helps at least one person. Trial and error for myself has paid off with this method!

I'd also like to add that Chevy or Ferrari would be the easiest to get the "Factory Driver" achievement, solely because they have the widest range of cars. Chevy has the full range of F-R1, Ferrari has D-R1. It's possible with any manufacturer but these are the easiest. (Personally I'm using BMW, because they are my favorite!)

You mean their range of cars stretch the most across class E to R3 for example?

xGeegx
10-19-2011, 05:40 AM
No, no, farther than that. Chevy stretches from the most basic F cars all the way up to R1 class cars. Ferrari however starts at D, but has a very wide selection of cars. I have also recently discovered that BMW stretches from F-R1 as well. It lacks an R2 car, but if you heavily modify an E92 M3, you can turn it into an R2 car.

My friend. Do not take this personally. I am just trying to help. Guides are meant to help people. Charging the x360a community 10k a piece for the tune setup is self profiting. Just saying you might wanna lower it to the lowest mark of 1k or offer to gift it free. The moderaters might not look to kindly to it. And again just trying to help.

But you have a great guide. Can tell you put time into it and I thank you. I wanna help just a tad.

For Level 50, there is a good strategy in the forums. Make 100k+ and 50k xp every 18 mins is what its called? Ask the guy if you can link or put his vid in your guide.

And also for the Awsome drifting. Tell people to go to the "Fajimi Kaido old down hill" track. This track is perfect. I struggled with this cheevo through every map. Then got 3 perfect drifts on first try with this one.

If someone took the time to work on a tuning setup they can sell it for whatever price they feel they deserve, it's your choice whether you pay.

And since you don't need a tuning setup to get a 4000 point drift you have no reason to complain. If you can't do it with a stock car you're not going to be able to do it with a tuned one.

Not for nothing... but if guides are meant to help people, why has everyone thanked me and contributed useful information into this guide? What would you call it then? Also, I am not "charging the X360A community" I am charging people who play Forza that care to buy good tunes off of the storefront, I don't see why just because I put the time and effort into getting this guide up I should be screwed for the sake of people like you thinking that I owe them something... This game is easy enough to get money in, I don't see why 10k really matters, since free upgrades are unlocked at Affinity level 4.

On a second note: I am not forcing ANYONE to buy the tune (and thanks to the Turn 10 servers being down every time I seem to try it, I have not even gotten the tune uploaded)

If you want to buy it, feel free to, it is there for anyone (X360A or not) to use... it is a quality drift tune, which may take some getting used to. In return you are helping someone collect money for the Ferrari Collector achievement. It can also be done by using an old Pontiac GTO, and numerous other cars, it is one of those achievements that is pretty self explanatory that really don't need much direction in the first place, and is more skill dependent than anything else.

-----

Also: most people that are going for 50 are also looking to get 1000 in the game, so there is really no need to boost 50, seeing as how it is a waste of time, and you will get it while progressing through Season and Event Select. If you go out of your way to use that method you are just wasting time...

I was a level 45 on Season 7, and hadn't touched Event select... so the likelihood that I would not earn level 50... even by the end of Season 10 (not even figuring Event select) is highly unlikely, which is why I never posted the method, since the purpose of guides and road-maps are to help people 1k games easily and efficiently. I just don't see that method as being efficient. When I get around to editing the guide, I will make a few revisions, and maybe add some videos since I found my camera. But until then I think the current version suffices. Like I said, most of the ones that need revising are just common sense, but I will change it for the sake of it potentially helping people.

----------------------

So, as for the "moderators not liking it" bit; I really don't see a problem with it. When I signed up to this site a while back, I read the rules carefully and I believe that all of my conduct on this site since day 1 has been in order. If a moderator has a problem with me promoting my storefront (mind you, I am not charging people to get them the achievement, nor am I soliciting services among other things...) kindly let the moderator handle this issue with me personally if there is actually a problem.

Although I appreciate your concern, I am also not a kid, and I understand forum rules and consequences set in place by X360A.

The Ferrari & Exclusive car collection can be got my gifting cars.

Should be added.

If you check the guide again, "last edited on Oct. 15, 2011"

Near the top of the first post, but it is fine... you are only trying to help, but I believe I was one of the first people on the site to mention the gifting of these cars to obtain the achievement.

Ya you have a good opinion. But small things like moving from 10 to 1k and putting up good strategies for simple achievements could be the difference from a good guide and a great guide. There is a portion of casual gamers that think the world tour is to hard and don't play it. Event list grows alot fewer XP. Now these people won't hit 50 for a long time. All I'm saying is adding the extra things can benefit others.

I am not arguing for myself. Beat 10 seasons in 2 days while working full time. I'm just looking out for others.

Earn 5000 points in a single drift. Easiest thing is to go on the Catalunya School Circuit with a car that has a little over 500hp and preferably tuned for drift. Send me a message on LIVE if you need a drift tune, I will sell the one on my 240sx for 10k a piece.
Wow, seriously? What's the point of an Achievement Guide to help other x360a-er's when you try to pull that shit?

Did you not read anything else in this thread, or are you just trying to troll?

There are other options out there for you to use other than a drift tuned 240, it is only there for people who want it. I have the right to sell my tunes on the marketplace just like every other Forza player on Xbox.

Don't be a noob, 10k isn't much... it's not a big deal. How about this? If you want a tune for free, go search for it! I am not just willing to throw my tunes out there for free just because I made an achievement guide for you guys, sorry. Use intuition FFS... any car in this game that is RWD and has some power behind it will be able to drift on almost any course, I personally like the Catalunya School Circuit, but Fujimi is a close second.

I guess it is ungrateful f*cks like you who plague games now, huh?

Yeah, I understand your views and respect them, and like I said the strategies for the small achievements will be revised. There is no difficulty difference between the two, except season mode is easier to earn money. Also, I usually don't see the casual gamer going for level 50, I see them just playing the game for fun and not worrying about the achievements.

As it is, I think I am going to keep the tune to myself and people in my club because it seems like people are touchy that I mentioned that I would have a tune on my storefront. All I was trying to do was help some people on here, but I guess a few people see it a different way and don't appreciate the offered help, unless they can just get stuff for free. I don't see why I have to do that... they offer a storefront where you can put a price on things for a reason, and it is not like it is ridiculously priced, it's 10k. I only offered it since everyone in my club used my car to get the achievement, and I figured it would be some help on here. I guess that 10k would be better spent on a Chevy Spark...

To anyone that expects free tuning files, maybe you should learn to tune yourself and then think about whether you want to offer all the hard work you put into it for free.

I spend days making liveries for my favourite cars an there's no way in hell I'm going to give those away for free. I sell my vinyl packs for 1000cR and full liveries for 5000cR, which isn't much, but it gives me some satisfaction that people are willing to pay for my hard work. Tuning is no different.

And like I said before, you don't need a tuned car to get 4000 drift points. Any decent bone stock AWD or RWD car can get you well over 10,000 points if you connect drifts on a track like Fujimi Kaido.

The only thing between someone and that achievement is skill, if you can't cut it then practice until you can (ridiculous idea I know, actually working for something), don't blame others.

1) Free Play

3) Shelby Cobra 427
4) Benchmark Test Track Speedway (1st track listed)
5) Race Difficulty - set it up like this;
- ABS OFF
- Steering Normal
- Stability OFF

- Shifting AUTO
- Suggested line OFF
- Rewind ON
- Opponent EASY

Can EASILY do this on the first corner. If you lose a high score, you can rewind and continue it. You can shift left and right once you press A for handbreak to continue the drift. NO TUNING REQUIRED! Use a stock/base Shelby, not from your garage.

Hope this helps at least one person. Trial and error for myself has paid off with this method!

There's a much easier way to do the drift achievement. No need for tuning or anything. Do this:
Race Online
Create Race
Race type: Test Track Type E (Huge space an basically no barriers)
Player: 1
AI: 0
Laps: 50 (so you have time to get it)
Advance dificulty turn everything to off so you can drift easier, then go race. You will be in a long empty space, so start turning and drift, go with your favorite car I did it with the Mercedes Benz SLR and just started to turn without ever taking the car into 3rd gear, it took me like 4 laps and the car eventually got a 7000 drift score. Avoid hitting walls and making a donut and you will be fine.
Here's a video showing how to do it!

http://www.supercheats.com/video/Forza+Motorsport+4/11170/videos.htm

I couldn't find anything by our community but that's pretty much the whole deal.

I think Turn10 massively overstated this. It's not even comparable to Bucket List. I got Factory Driver yesterday from 10 career seasons & then working on event list races. Overall completion on my stats page is only 20%.

Heck, if you're earning the credits instead of borrowing/gifting cars, both Ferrari Collector and Exclusive Taste are more time consuming than Factory Driver.

They didn't say it would take 2 years to get. They said less than 1% would have it within 2 years. Most people will give up and not finish it. Significantly less than 10% actually bothered to get Solid Gold from FM3.

Great guide, found it very useful.

Don't understand all the fuss about spending 10k on a tuning setup. With all the money this game throws at you, 10k is a tiny drop in the ocean, and I never mind paying for something I'm too lazy to do for myself :)

im seeing more of 100 hours, not a 150 hours. im not even close to 100 hours yet and all i have left is bucket list and affinity. using the affinity cheat that will take a little while and hire a driver for all the events, im seeing maybe 100-120 hours. but i may be wrong. i guess we will see

Factory Driver only takes 25-30 hours total to complete, and you can complete it while giong for Bucket List. I strongly recommend against doing the "100k credits/50k xp" race over and over just to get Factory Driver. It will come easily by the time you finish Bucket List.

As for Bucket List, hiring a driver for all the events doesn't save you any time. They don't complete the race any faster than you would on your own, and in most cases they're a bit slower, though only by a handful of seconds. Sure, you can have the computer driving while you're doing other stuff, but the end result of time played on your profile stats will be the same.

I'm at 87.0% complete on the Event List right now. I have spent a total of maybe 5 hours doing Rivals races. The rest has been spent on Season mode. I raced the first 7+ seasons of World Tour without realizing it would give you events that didn't count toward completing the Event List. After realizing that, I always made sure to choose events that would count toward the Event List when doing World Tour. So subtract maybe 15 total hours from my time that could have been avoided had I not done any Rivals challenges and made sure I was choosing only events in World Tour that counted toward the Event List, and I would then be at 140 hours total played right now (currently at just over 155 hours adding up time driven, upgrading, storefront, and menus).

So I don't think it's possible, no matter how fast you go through the game, to 1000 this game in less than 120 hours. 150 might even be pushing it, as I've got 13% of the races left still and very few of them are short. Just counted them up and I have 153 races left to go, most of which are around 8-10 minutes long. Figuring 8 minutes a piece, which is probably on the low side, that's another 20 hours still to go. And that only counts driving time alone, not time in the menus, time loading races before and after, etc. That all adds up even if it's only a minute here and a minute there.

Cant do this one, every time I Try it says my save file is corrupt?

You have to go to the Dashboard and into your Memory settings and browse to Forza 4 and delete the files for Tuning Setups, Replays, Pictures, and Paintjobs. Make sure you don't accidentally delete the game save, just those smaller files. One of them is corrupt and causing the problem. I had the same issue with not being able to save tuning setups until I did that.

I have all but the Kinect achieve, and I am sitting at 172 hours and 12 minutes of just racing time. I got Bucket List early, with 22 races left on Event List, at about 20-25 minutes each that's still about 10-11 hours left on the table. There is some extra driving time to gain the money for the last few millions for the last 2 of the Most Expensive Cars, but not more than a couple of hours. 5-8 at the most.

Being a VIP has nothing to do with it.

Own the Superleggera or Scuderia in FM3, import then into FM4, bang, unicorn hunter.

The Scuderia and Superleggera are part of the VIP pack, so being a VIP does have a little something to do with it.

this is not a 2/10 compared to forza 3 its much harder to win even when using sliders and best car in the race, in forza 3 i almost never finished a race with at least 1 lapped opponent, i would recommend to change it at least to a 5/10, as i saw that and i thought it would be easy, nope now my completion is ruined, save people the torment i had, and bump it up to at least a 6/10 or 7/10

The achievements on this game are much easier than Forza 3. The Unicorn achievement is the only hard one, and it's only hard for people that didn't import from an LCE of FM3 (or with a unicorn from FM3 already, or through the pre-order bonus, or that don't Facebook) because of cheaters. You don't have to win to complete the season achievements. Just run the race. Anybody that can't win the Event List races on Easy needs to consider avoiding racing games.

I agree with this post if you are trying to win every race in career mode. There were some races I entered where it was nearly impossible to win. The cars handle MUCH differently in this one than the prior games and that should be noted at least.

2/10? No way.

2/10 represents how hard it is to get the achievements. You don't have win any of the races in World Tour to get the Season achievements, and you can hire a driver with the AI on easy to get Bucket List. The Achievements are very easy to get.

Oh well, to each their own. I feel that time spent on getting achievements in a game factors into how difficult the achievements are at some point. To blindly ignore the time requirements and just say they're easy if you have unlimited hours is sticking your head into the sand in this case.

Also, my post was supposed to read, "I agree with this post if you are trying to win every race in WORLD TOUR mode." Those races weren't easy due to the Adaptive AI (http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/thread/5004632.aspx) and make this game more like a 6/10 overall based on what I posted.

A better description for this achievement would be - Post a time on the leaderboards on every race track in Forza Motorsport 4.

If you race offline you do not post times on the leaderboards. In the event list it showed that I had finished a race on particular tracks, but only when I repeated those tracks online did I get the achievement.

Also, this is a list of tracks that I did not find in the Event List:
Fujimi Kaido Full Circuit
Fujimi Kaido Full Circuit Reverse
Fujimi Kaido Old Hill Climb
Fujimi Kaido Old Down Hill
Fujimi Kaido New Hill Climb
Fujimi Kaido New Down Hill

I know what you meant, and answered it that way. You can come in last in every race of WORLD TOUR and still progress through the game. It has nothing to with Adaptive AI being too hard. You do not have to win the races in World Tour mode to get the Season Achievements, only Bucket List requires you to get first in the races, and that doesn't have adaptive AI. Some people did have trouble getting first against Adaptive AI, but since Adaptive AI doesn't prevent anyone from getting achievements, it shouldn't be factored into the difficulty given.

Only if we expand the definition of 'better' to include 'wrong'. You don't have to post a time to the leaderboards to get this achievement. I got if offline. All drag strips, Fujima Kaido Full, and Nordschlieffe were all raced offline.

To the original poster, perhaps could you edit the guide to show that you can get "bucket list" without finishing all the races.

The second update hasn't changed what has been previously discovered. You get bucket list with exactly 22 races left (that's what happened to me this morning).

This could prove important and interesting to people that don't want to spend money on cars like the Koenigsegg CCGT which you pay 1,5 million for 1 race. Or the 1950's legends that you use for 4 races. People could choose which 22 races not to do in order to save money.;)

Is it possible to save in Forza 3 any file that can be imported to Forza 4 without gaining any achievement in Forza 3?

I'm starting a new GT and I really don't feel like playing F3, wanted to start F4 to get the 1000G's... if I start F3 I have to get the full 1000 there too and I really don't want to do it

I do not really understand this achievement:
Forza World Tourer 60 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png
Finish a race on every race track in Forza Motorsport 4

"This achievement should come naturally as you progress in your career"

"Total Circuits So Far: 130 Circuits"

Are there career races on the Benchmark Test Track, and all the variations?

Or do I have to complete custom races on these tracks?

What about the Top Gear football field?

Has anyone gotten this achievement already?

These don't appear in Bucket List. The Test Track and Football Field are not required for World Tourer.

Nurburgring Nordschleife - Full Circuit
Top Gear - Full Circuit
Fujimoo Kaido - Full Circuit, Full Circuit Reverse, Old Hill Climb, Old Down Hill, New Hill Climb & New Down Hill

and the 9 Drag Strip Races:
Infineon - 1/4 Mile
Hockenheimring - 1/4 Mile
Sedona - 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 & Mile
Top Gear - 1/4, 1/2 & Mile

Do the Drag strips first, they are absolutely not going to be run elsewhere, then do the FK partials, then do Top Gear Full, then do the FK Fulls and Nordschleife. Some people ran into FK and Nordshleife full tracks in World Tour, and saving them till last will make sure you don't run them if you don't have to.

You have listed the 330 P4 and that you can get it at level 30. You can also pick up several other Ferraris at cartain levels. Maybe add the levels you can get them at to the list of cars.

quick question: I'm about 1/3 done the 9th season in career mode with a level 20 affinty (Audi). Once I finish career mode if I were to get the backup driver to do all the races for me in the event list would that be enough to get me to level 50 affinity? Of course I would be using audi in every race possible which is over 90% of them.

I love Forza but I can only race on the same track so often until it becomes a complete grind. Plus I have a half dozen games on my to-do list so I would like to get the 1000GS in Forza as quick as possible.

I doubt you would get near lvl 50, but it will help.

My advice is to make sure you turn off the class restriction when you tackle the event list. That small change will help you burn through the event list quicker since you can utilize the faster race cars in many races. Also makes it easier to have a valid car without having to buy another or tune down one of your existing cars.

If you need to boost manufacturer affinity still after unlocking all the other achievements, maybe you could set up an unattended oval race. Private online race w/ one AI, 50+ laps of a suitable oval track, put rubber band around the throttle (and steering if needed), maybe turn on all the assists. I'm not sure if it would work. But it is a strategy I used back in GT3 days to boost credits.:p

Edit: It does work, but gave me zero credits. Must be the game's anti-cheat system.

Nice guide, I would perhaps add to it that using the auction house for the most expensive cars can save you a fair bit..

I got my Shelby Cobra Daytona for about 1mill creds, my 250GTO for just under 7mill. meaning for them wanting the achievement its well worth checking the auction house.. (those 2 cars is a saving of 7mill straight away...showing how the Auction house can really help)

Question: I plan on on getting both the 'factory driver' and the' bucket list' achievements. I will be using the backup driver for all races that don't allow Audi's (since its my affinity car).

Now once I get these achievements will I have enough credits to buy all the cars needed for the 'Ferrari collector' and 'exclusive taste' achievements assuming I don't buy anything else?

These are the only achievements I'm worried about and while I am using the auction house most cars don't sell for much under the retail price anyways.

Oh, and will the 'forza world tourer' achievement still unlock by the time I finish the event list even if I use a backup driver for a lot of the races?

Thanks to anyone that can help.:)

Hiring a driver doesn't affect this achievement, however, you won't unlock World Tourer just by completing the Event List. There are a few tracks that don't show up. Do a search for World Tourer here to find a list. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just not sure right now which tracks they are and I don't want to give you bad info.

You'll have to do every track except the Test Track layouts. You also have to do all the drag strip layouts and I don't think those are on the event list. Some reverse tracks probably aren't there either.

What I did is make an Excel sheet with all the tracks on it and just marked them off as I did them to keep track. I'd suggest doing something like that as you work on the event list (or just do them in online custom race, that's what I did) so you know what's left over at the end.

RWD with 400-500hp. Cars with short wheelbases are easier to get drifting but longer ones are more stable and easier to hold in a drift.

Try the current generation BMW M3 and the w427 Monaro. Do it on one of the Test Track layouts, you have tons of room and literally every corner is capable of a 10,000+ point drift.

Ultima GTR- (probably set for top speed for oval racing- no wing) on the test track speedway. 1 (sometimes 2) perfect drifts per lap.

250+mph drifting, half way through the turn. :D It was super easy.

I can't drift at all! I ended up getting all the drifting badges failing at getting a LB time at ovals. (got my first one for the achievement, with the Shelby cobra, same track, took me a bit though as described somewhere here in the forum, probably this thread)

Thank you everyone for your positive feedback over the past couple of months.

To tell you the truth, and I am embarrassed to say this... I completely forgot I was the once that submitted this guide to X360A.

A friend of mine actually said to me, "Dude, you posted the achievement guide for Forza 4 on X360A?"

After I checked it out, and saw that I made it to the front page (where achievement list, and achievement guide are located) I was surprised.

I have not had the time to read everyone's feedback on my guide, although I did browse a few of them and they were mostly positive and somewhat helpful.

---------

I have made a few (long overdue) edits to this achievement guide (including how to get the Factory Driver achievement very easily). At the time of writing this I was only worried about finishing this game as fast as I could, and beating everyone else to having a submitted guide on the site.:woop:

I figured it was my way of giving back to this awesome community that has helped me greatly over the past couple of years. I have always been more of a forum lurker, looking for the info I needed, and that is it. So although this doesn't make up for my "laziness" or lack of participation, I hope it does earn me a little positive karma, if nothing else.

I will be making a separate achievement guide soon for the DLC achievements, even though they are very easy.

This thread on the official forum is great. It starts with the general ways to get unicorns and this guy updates it almost daily. I've got 3 unicorns in the past 3 days just by following whats going on with the forza motorsport forums.

thanks for the link, but i have no idea what any of that means. im not on facebook, so thats probably the easiest of those options out of the window.

what about in the guide where it suggest importing a save from FM3 and being VIP, how would i get a unicorn from that, would it just pop up in a message after importing the save. i might just buy FM3 if its as easy as that, im gonna need to buy a kinect too for that kinect achievement, which fucking sucks.

I did get the achievement importing my FM3 save but I was vip in both. I believe you had to be high enough level in 3 and own the unicorn in 3 to import it into 4. I also believe that the cars were DLC cars in 3 so you might have to buy vip and/or dlc for 3.

Thanks! Nice guide and also the extra input helps alot, too; I've been struggling with the drift/draft mess and one quick question...where the heck do I find a Delorean?

Just passing here to add some useful information to "Outta Time" achievement.

1st - This achievement can be done in Split-Screen Versus mode.

2nd - In case anyone is from other country (like me),the 88 MpH are equal to 142KpH
