Now I have the standard edition and my friend has the limited. He is having a very hard time. And I am going through the world tour very quickly and easily. He said he thinks his limited is harder then my standard. I want your opinion on the matter?

I have the limited edition and im not finding it particularly difficult so far (season 5). Are you using the same assist settings and cars for races?

There is no difference in difficulty between different editions of a game lol.

My opinion, your skill is better than his... I am pretty sure only difference is the DLC and packaging you get!

I personally am finding Forza 4 to be quite a hard game some races ive got the most powerful car with the difficulty set to easy so i should be winning it easily and the AI just pulls away from me alot. Its taking me forever to progress through it.

ya i am almost on season 8. And I dont find the game very hard at all. Could it be that I turn my brake assist off and he keeps his on? I keep telling him to turn it off cuz it slows your car down, but he said he has a hard time controlling his vehicle when he does.

Up the difficulty then? =/ having a steel book or some extra DLC doesn't dictate how difficult a race is.

ya i just wanted to know. Just my word saying its the same in an arguement means nothing. But having the backup and opinions of the x360a community holds alot of leverage. He will believe it now.

Its common sense really. But glad you got your query sorted.

The only difference between regular and LCE is the DLC and a metal box.

The discs are all the same. Either you are playing with different difficulty settings or he just sucks. Best way to prove this is to play against him in the same car ;)

For what it's worth I am finding world tour extremely easy with the LCE. I haven't lost a race yet.

Some people are just terrible at this game, and do not understand driving or driving physics in the least. Not saying I can break down the science of it, but my friend picked this up and just doesn't get it, he gets so mad and won't listen to my advice. People can't just jump into an S class and expect to control it.

it's the automatic braking and the stubborness of the ai. The braking slows you down too much and with the braking the way it is, it is very difficult to pass the ai.

Good point about the ai, I have found that they are far more aggressive than previous games, making it a nightmare to get a clean lap in career mode

If you have braking assist turned on, turn that crap off. I had that issue with that very first race in the game (when you are driving the Ferrari 458). The braking assist was on by default and I couldn't catch anyone in front of me. After that race, braking assist was the first thing I turned off. There are a lot of areas in the racing like that turn yellow and orange that you shouldn't need to hit the brakes at all, yet the braking assist will slam on the brakes for you, as you watch the opponents pull away from you.

I think the only driving aides I have are the racing line and traction control. Steering is normal. I'm not looking at my settings at the moment though.

the Auto-breaking. Not the game. ;)
