For example, I hate RTSs. I just think they're boring as all hell. However, I enjoyed Star Trek: Legacy, not for the gameplay, but because I loved hearing "Yes, Captain!"

What about you?

I hate Sports games, but I had a blast ending fake football players' careers in Blitz: The League.

I love how they show the X-ray when you break a bone. There's just something viscerally amusing about watching someone's neck snap like a twig or knee cap shattered after a big hit. :D

Hmmm...hmmmmmmmmmm......That's a tough one.

I guess.....it would have to be........I suppose.......Burnout. I don't really like racing games, Burnout doesn't require any driving skill at all and you are actually playing well if you crash! It was brilliant online too, although the Revenge port wasn't all that fantastic.

Probably Forza 2.

I don't know why I bought that game, and I was drunk for the 20 minutes I played it. Got 10 achievement points.

I had fun just trying to wreck the AI's cars.

Probably NHL 2k7, even though i hate most sports games (I have no idea why i bought this) I found this quite amusing. Not because of the actual game play but because of the fighting :uzi:Hmmmm only got 35 GP from it atm...

07-27-2007, 05:53 PM
I hate the racing genre but I LOVE running from the cops in NFS games. NFS and Mario Kart are the only racing series I like.

07-27-2007, 05:55 PM
I'd have to say The Racing Genre (Forza 2) aswell. I didn't think I'd like the reaslistic part of the game. Since i used to loves Need for Speed games. But I've been playing it for about 5 hours and really enjoy it.

07-27-2007, 06:00 PM
Kids games...I hate 'em...don't know why, prolly because they are so easy and yet sometimes difficult...but the best moment was I think when I found all the damn postcards in Cars....nothing like the lil ploop..achievement unlocked...

07-27-2007, 06:11 PM
I really don't like RPG's, but Oblivion was the proverbial shít.

07-27-2007, 06:15 PM
I hate racing games and I had fun throwing Burnout, TDU, and NFSMW out the window with minimal points in all of them.

07-27-2007, 06:19 PM
im not a big fan of RTS's either but i loved playing the custom game modes on warcraft 3 frozen throne i wish i could get it to install again :(

Probably Forza, as most people have said. I'm not really into sims, I'm more into arcade racers to be honest but I decided to pre-order the game after hearing about all of the customization and online that was involved. I love it!

07-27-2007, 08:29 PM
I hate the racing genre but I LOVE running from the cops in NFS games. NFS and Mario Kart are the only racing series I like.

I basically have to say the same thing as Legion.. I also liked *some* of the online multiplayer.

The most fun I have had with my least favourite gerne.

Genre: Family. Making it look like my 4 year old cousin was pro at cars, while I was using the other controller to play? Pure Pwnage.

My least favourite game is Gears of War, but its so fun to chainsaw the Sniper =P

07-28-2007, 02:00 AM
Least Favorite Genre: Strategy

The Best Strategy game ever made: Age of Empires II, the only strategy game I've liked so far in my life time, and I doubt I will ever see another good one again

07-28-2007, 02:04 AM
If this kinda counts...

I'm not big in Command and Conquer (my friend loaded that zero) and building games but i like outpost kaloki X. Even tho i have a zero in it as of now it is so fun!!

My least favourite game is Gears of War, but its so fun to chainsaw the Sniper =P

Also agreed-I HATE GEARS OF WAR. But I love chainsawing off Carmine's head!!!

I am not too fond of family games, but I had a lot of fun playing Guitar Hero II

07-28-2007, 02:22 AM
i dislike RTS games like Age of Empires for some reason. i just can't get into them, but when i played Rise and Fall Civilizations i just couldn't stop playing it lol

07-28-2007, 04:02 AM
Well I'm not really one for racing sims like Forza 2, but I bought it anyway.

And I dont know what happened. I poped it on, and just couldnt stop playing. It was like, just one more race, just one more race lol. I played that game for over a month every day for alot longer than I should have. The game just hooked me for some reason, and I ended up having a blast with it!

not usually into third person shotting games [i dunno why] but gears and lost planet have proved to be kick ass

[i wouldnt count third person shooter as a major genre but w/e]

07-28-2007, 05:23 AM
Sports games. But a friend insisted I play a Football (not American Bruteball) so many years ago (in the 20th century). It was fun, until I realized that all freaking games related to any specific sport are basically the same, lacking innovation, and just tweaked with every new edition.

07-28-2007, 05:45 AM
Hmm games i hate but yet dont... chromehounds i usually hate games that require lots of details and buildling and what not that also have impossible achievements but this game is a lot of fun...

07-28-2007, 01:49 PM
I hate basketball, but NBA 2k6 was downright awsome:woop:

07-28-2007, 02:51 PM
I don't really like Hockey games but NHL 2K6 was ok.

I'm not a big fan of puzzlers, they just bore me to death. But since finding out about this XBLA thing, I have outpost kaloki, hardwood backgammon, bejeweled 2, I play hexic.
I still don't like the genre, but I think I'm starting to open up to more and new types of games.

07-28-2007, 10:49 PM
Worst Game: Bullet Witch
Best thing I did: Threw it out the window :P

07-29-2007, 12:28 AM
Even though it is not a genre. I had loads of fun playing NHL 07. I had some fun with Fifa 06 to.

07-30-2007, 07:05 PM
ive never liked role playing games but oblivion took my life away

07-30-2007, 07:09 PM
I had never played turned based rpgs as i though/think they are gay but from the first few min of final fantasy X i straight fell in love with it. It changed my whole outlook on games and really got me into gameing more than casually, thank you FFX.

07-30-2007, 07:41 PM
I'm not a big fan of Family games but because I share the 360 with my lil' Sis we got a few...

Viva = hour of fun and replay value
Lego Star Wars = great drop in, drop out co-op and very funny
Guitar Hero = Need I say more?

The 360 Dragon

07-30-2007, 10:26 PM
To be honest i don't know what genre i specifically hate but one game i loved that i thought i wouldn't was Texas Hold 'em poker even though i didn't think it would excite me i found it fun.

I dont really care for racing games but the Burnout series is really fun.

08-03-2007, 04:53 AM
I'd have to say Jade Empire. I hate RPG's for the most part they are lame and involve an ambiguous character talking a lot. Jade Empire on the other hand was not made by the japanese (yeah) and had a cool setting and fun action. It was short, but I had fun with the different styles and classic arcade references.

i CANT stand RPG's, yet something about Oblivion made me love it for a while...

08-03-2007, 09:38 AM
