I need help with this category. I'm not really sure what it describes and how I can improve it.

I've been tuning my 2010 Nissan GT-R for S700. I'm quite happy with where it is (as I'm trying to use Nissan for Affinity), but I've also taken a look at some of the most downloaded GT-R tuning set-ups.

For every download, I've noticed that my car outperforms greatly in Acceleration (0-60 & 0-100) and braking. But I always seem to have a slightly lower "Lateral Gs" rating.

I thought it may describe the amount of Gs your car can pull while turning without spinning out, but I'm not sure.

Any clarification and general tuning tips would really help. Thanks.

That's exactly what lateral Gs are. Best approach to tuning is usually to upgrade the suspension at the same rate as the engine. Better tires and lightened car are good for handling, generally. Adding a bit of negative camber helps if you have adjustable suspension, but not too much. I usually put -3 on the fronts and -2 on the rears, and drop the ride height as much as possible.

I'll leave it to the real experts to get into more detail than that.

pretty much anything that lowers weight or helps with the handling will lower the lateral gs.

here http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/thread/4877212.aspx is an in depth guide on how to tune straight from the forza forums. this helped me learn how to tune my cars.

Awesome links, I'll post them in the FAQ Thread so people always have access to them.
