Hey, I've been looking around for some good off line multiplayer games and haven't been able to really find any.
Anyone know of some good ones that they liked, or just some in general.

I've been trying to find something for me and my girlfriend to play.
She really liked the civil war game for some reason but that wasn't 2 players.

There's always ShadowRun. Most games that have online multiplayer, usually have offline as well.

Lego Starwars II, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (1 & 2), Rainbow Six Vegas... to name a few

Shadowrun does not have offline multiplayer, you can play with bots but not split-screen, would need two consoles.

There was never any mention of it needing to be split screen. Lan is still considered offline multiplayer.

Yea it can be co-op or head to head.

I wish shadowrun was a split screen multiplayer. That would be awesome. But sadly she doesn't own a 360 so it has to be split screen.

I forgot about doom, that should be fun on co-op. And I have GH2, but only 1 controller. Waiting for GH3 to get a second controller.

I'll have to try gears of war, she might like that. And GRAW 2.

My gamecard came from the livecard.net forums. Not sure where exactly.

Shadowrun doesn't have offline multiplayer you're right however, Rainbow Six: Vegas does. Simply go to multiplayer on the start menu which shows Xbox Live, Split Screen, and System Link. Split screen allows you to play multiplayer offline, but note that the split in the screen is vertical which is very odd as most multiplayer split screens are split horizontally.

ya Marvel Alliance is pretty fun and addicting if you're into beat-em ups or comic books lol.

Aegis wings is fun on multiplayer
TMNT the Arcade is also a classic

you could also try Contra or Super Contra, they're ok but i prefer the NES version. DL the trial demo for these games to see if ya like em.

the best one so far, at least in my oppinion, for ease of pick up and play, is bomber man live. It is a complete blast. And for only 10 bucks it will def. work for you.

by the way, did marathon make anyone dizzy or quezy?

Perfect Dark Zero

You and your girlfriend would like it, there's split screen multiplayer with or without bots, tons of options, and there is also split screen co-op.
