Introduction:
To begin the Bloodbath Arena DLC, go to any fast travel board. There is a door in one of the tunnels in the Resort area that takes you there. All the achievements in this DLC (except "Looking for Trouble") can be done on Arena A (Easy) which, if you've already completed the original 1000 and have a Level 50 character, makes it a complete cakewalk. Each arena has a unique mod to be found and many enemies will be carrying unique weapons to loot, so watch out for those.

Note: Despite many of the descriptions saying "survive," you can actually be dead in co-op when a wave ends and you will still receive credit for completing it. You will respawn at the beginning of the next wave. Obviously playing solo you'll need to start over.

Step 1: Wave 30 in Co-Op
Find a group of one to three other players (more the better) and set aside some time to get all the way to Wave 30 completed in one session (90+ minutes). If you're good with them, turn on Analog controls for half the session to knock that out at the same time, though you have three other characters to use for fifteen waves so it isn't required and will likely be harder if you do try. You can also do the five waves with only punches/kicks and ten waves with only custom weapons during this run.

Step 2: Three Partials, 15 Waves Each
Using the three remaining characters, you'll need to do the first 15 waves each on any arena. You also need to do at least five waves in each arena (see Step 3), but it's best to use your strongest character for the harder arenas, so just do Arena A (Easy) for 15 waves with everyone.

Step 3: Five Waves in Each + Complete a Set
Using your strongest character, complete five waves in Arena D (Moderate) and Arena B (Very Hard), then enter Arena C (Hard) and make it to at least Wave 14 so you can kill one of every enemy type for the "Complete a Set" achievement.

Step 4: Mop Up
If you did not get any of the kill-based achievements during the previous two steps, setup the proper conditions and do them now to finish the 250G.

Play any Arena in co-op.

This will unlock as soon as you begin any of the arenas, so long as you have one or more co-op partners.

Set 5 enemies on fire and then kill them with explosives.

This does not have to be five at one time, just five in total. You'll want to stock your character with a good amount of Molotovs and either Grenades or something like a Deo-Bomb. Throw down a meat bait, then a Molotov to set a group of enemies on fire, then quickly switch to the bomb and throw that as well to blow up the flaming group. You can also put the meat bait next to an exploding barrel and shoot it rather than trying to switch to a grenade. Depending on the type of enemy and their level, you'll need to be quick before they die from the flames. You do not actually have to have personally set them on fire for this to count, just be the one to blow them up. Some enemies spawn on fire; those will count for this as well.

Survive 5 waves using only your fists and legs.

After the Title Update, kicks now use Stamina which will make this a bit harder. However, unlike most of the achievements in this DLC it does not have to be consecutive waves, so you can simply do the first wave five times if you find that easier. Really though, with a high level character, everyone dies in one kick for the first few waves in Arena A anyway.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/429/+9H7fw==.jpgComplete a set 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png
Kill enemies of 6 different types during a single round.

The word "round" in the description does not mean "wave" but rather "session" - so you have a full playthrough to get this for however many waves you do. All of the below need to be killed before exiting the arena.

Infected
Thug
Suicider
Ram
Floater
Butcher

You'll need to do this in Arena C (Hard). By Wave 14 all of the different types will have spawned (last being the Butcher). If you are playing with a friend, make sure you get the killing blow on the enemies for it to count.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/429/+jED7A==.jpgLooking for trouble 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png
Survive 5 waves in each of the 4 Arenas.

See "Gladiator School" for more info.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/429/+BAKWQ==.jpgStick it to the enemy 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png
Survive 15 consecutive waves using the analog combat controls.

You'll need to manually switch to Analog in the Options>Controls menu. The way this works for melee combat is you need to hold down the Left Trigger, then use the Right Thumbstick to attack. If you want to chop off a head for example, pull the thumbstick all the way to the left/right and then quickly flick it in the exact opposite direction. It takes some getting used to... however, you can avoid any hassle by simply using guns, kicks or thrown weapons the entire time the settings are enabled. If you play in co-op and have a friend do all the work, you'll want to make sure you hit at least one enemy each wave for it to count.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/429/+fDyyg==.jpgGladiator school 25 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png
Survive 15 consecutive waves with each of the 4 characters.

Using your highest level character, you'll want to find a co-op group and go for "Morituri te salutant" and "Death Incarnate." With the remaining three characters, you'll still want to use Arena A (Easy), since then you'll only need five waves of each of the harder arenas to finish "Looking for Trouble" and can do so using your highest level character to make it easier.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/429/+tfmxA==.jpgFancy 25 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png
Survive 10 consecutive waves using only custom weapons.

You'll likely get this without trying, but make sure you don't use any punches/kicks, or anything generic like a Molotov or Grenade. Your rage and the explosive barrels in the arenas will also void it. Make sure you have some kind of mod on most of your weapons as well so you don't accidentally switch to a generic weapon and void the achievement. If you play in co-op and have your friend do all the work, you'll want to make sure you hit at least one enemy each wave for it to count.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/429/+zceVw==.jpgMorituri te salutant 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png
Survive 30 consecutive waves with at least one co-op player.

See "Death Incarnate" for more info.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/429/+Inzlg==.jpgDeath Incarnate 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.png
Survive wave 30.

You'll want to couple this with "Morituri te salutant" to make it a bit easier, and use a full group if possible. Arena A (Easy) will be the easiest option obviously. The enemies start at lower levels and level up as you progress, so the higher level your group is, the better off you'll be. So long as one person is alive at the end of a wave, you'll all respawn and continue. If your entire group dies, you have to start from the beginning.

For some reason the Thug isn't on the list as a zombie type. Also for the analog control achievement, be sure to at least hit a zombie each round. If you run around and do nothing the counter will reset. Same goes for the modified weapon one and the one for only using your fists and legs. You don't need a kill, you just need to hit one zombie each round.

Also the "survive consecutive" doesn't mean that you can't die. I got the one for completing level 30 with a co-op buddy and I died loads.

Kill enemies of 6 different types during a single round.

There are a total of seven enemy types in the game, so you'll need to kill at least six off the list below in a single round.

Walker
Infected
Thug
Suicider
Ram
Floater
Butcher
Dont think walkers count as i've been down to only needing one and the achievement menu says I only need to get a ram. Looked about and nobody seems to know where to find any rams. Also worth mentioning when they say round they dont mean in a single wave but rather a single match.
Also for 'fancy' using your rage seems to also void the achievement and I'm sure but not positive the canister and barrells will void it.
Lastly, maybe let people know in the road map there is a weapon mod pick up to be found on each level usually very close to the repair station.

---

[Generic clarification needed for the entire set of achievements: Does "survive consecutive" mean that you can never die, or if you die can you retry from the current wave and keep going without voiding the achievements?]

if your entire team dies, then you re back to wave 1, so this means reach wave 30 with at least one survivor each wave, in one sitting, no retry possible

In a bunch of descriptions you mention that "as long as you hit an enemy it will count." Does this mean one enemy per wave? Or one total?

Also, for the extreme firefighting, to get the achievement, does it have to be you who sets them on fire and you who blows them up? Reason I ask is cause since enemies might die quickly, if you can have a teammate throw a molotov and then you throw a grenade a split second later, it'll make it easier to blow them up before they die from the fire. Not sure if it'd work if a partner throws the molotov though.

I realize you might not be able to answer these questions Pants, since you're at work today like me, but thought maybe someone could answer so it can be added to the guide.

For the first question, it would have to be per wave. The counter would reset if you miss a wave and you'd have to start over. For the second, I assume you'd have to do both actions since it doesn't say "kill 5 burning enemies" or something similar, it specifically tells you to set them on fire AND blow them up.

But yeah, both of those are still speculation to me at this point!

EDIT: Oh, and thanks for the few people above with tips, guide is as up-to-date as it can be right now. :)

For the fire one I hit a exploding barrel right next to a flamer zombie and it sayed 1/5 so I dont think you need all 5 at once but it can be done on the easy arena just get up on that little walkway near the door and gather up 5 zombie on the ground throw molotove and throw a nade and that should work. hope this helps

i can confirm that killing 5 zombies with fire & blowing them up does not have to be all at once, also you do NOT need to light the enemies on fire either. simply blowing up a zombie that is on fire will count towards this achiv.

The only arena that has all 6 different types of zombies is Arena C, the swamp map. You should get a Walker, Infected, Floater and Suicider in the early rounds. On round 11 your first Ram will appear and on round 14 there will be a Butcher.

Wave and Smile
Out of honey? Chew bees!
Looking for trouble
Fancy
Morituri te salutant
Death Incarnate

playing with DeadOnArrival19 (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/member.php?u=286711) and I can confirm the following:

for the waves with fists-kicks, and modded weapons, you have to use ONLY these to kill, and no other means for those rounds, if you use a kick while you trying for the modded weapons it will reset the counter and you ll need to do a fresh 10 waves. Stomps count as kicks, so they do not void fists and kicks
for "Looking for trouble" you just need to do those 5 waves in each arena. Once completed just walk through the door you entered the Arena, and you ll be back in the Arena Lobby. From there choose another Arena. We actually waited till the timer was over and displayed "Wave 6".
We did the 30 waves on easy, we actually went to wave 34, but guess we got tired and died,

get a lot of medkits, and I mean a lot, 30+. Don't worry about the money, you get a lot during the waves 100K+. If your teamate died, revive him its the best chance you have of clearing the wave and you don't want to reach wave 28 and to lose for a freaking infected banging you.
A good tactic is to stick together with your partner for them damn infected coming at you, so if one fails a hit another one doesnt.
Have firearms, it will help a lot exploding from distance those suiciders.
We cleared it only 2. 4 people will be a walk in the park.
We sticked near the work bench, having on our left the bridge, and facing the path that comes from the entrance door.

Another good place might be the arena on very hard. If you go on the metal stairs, opposite of the bench, and just sit there side by side, crouching, it seems the infected get confused, and only charge through the stairs, and not going around, so they always come right at you and you have the high grounds. Don't know what enemies spawns after wave 5, so I do not know how achievable this will be in higher waves. Just a thought. It helped on the 5 waves for the "Looking for trouble"

good hunting

Guide's should be pretty much complete. In a bit over two hours tonight, myself and two others did all of the achievements except "Gladiator School" so this is an extremely easy set of achievements. I'll be polishing this off when I get home from work tomorrow.

If there are any other tips I should mention, let me know. I think I covered everything though.

Yes, you get xp for all the zombies you kill + you can net extra xp by completing certain wave challenges (Kill the most enemies,don't use up your stamina,...)

I have a question: Do zombies drop rare weapons? (orange) in any arena?

I have a question: Do zombies drop rare weapons? (orange) in any arena?

I wondered this myself as my mate has still to get 'rootin tootin lootin' and this may count but only seem to get a bunch of purples.

I've been playing as purna and her rage ability is awesome for this DLC as not only do I get a good 10 kills but it heals all my team and buffs them. As all my weapons are modded and she gets a bonus to rage using modded weapons I can get rage twice a level. I believe a full team of high level purnas would just be unstoppable.

If you're talking about "Wave and Smile", then the only way you'd miss this if you're playing by yourself.

For the fire one I hit a exploding barrel right next to a flamer zombie and it sayed 1/5 [....]

Wait.... so if you just shoot those red barrel, it'll give you credit for both burning and exploding? I never shot them before, so I don't know if they explode in flame, or just simple explode.

About how long does it take to get from round 1 to 15 and from 1 to 30? I know, with the most survival games, that the rounds get longer as you get higher up, but how much longer?

No, he said he shot it next to a "flamer zombie" meaning the guy was already on fire. The explosion has to kill a zombie that is already inflamed. It won't do both at the same time.

About how long does it take to get from round 1 to 15 and from 1 to 30? I know, with the most survival games, that the rounds get longer as you get higher up, but how much longer?

Well I put the time for the entire 250G at 3-5 hours. In 2 hours last night, we did 1-30 on Easy, 1-5 on Moderate, 1-5 on Very Hard and 1-18 on Hard, plus a second 1-14 on Hard because we died before the third person got their Set achievement.

For Gladiator School, do the 15 consecutive waves have to be in a single round? Or can I play 5 waves with a character in Arena A, quit out to the lobby, play the first 5 again, quit out, and play the first 5 one more time for it to count as 15 consecutive waves? My remaining 3 characters are level 10ish and I've been having a hell of a time with co-op games freezes. Would make it much easier solo.

In the arenas? The zombies' levels are independent of the host's level. The zombies start at level 1 in the Easy arena and gradually increase. I believe in the very hard arena they start around level 20.

I had some troubles with the 'Extreme Firefight' achievement in the Arena, so I decided to try it in the main game, and I succeeded.

The easiest way to obtain it:
1. go to tunnel near the gas station at the southwestern part of the map (Resort).
2. make sure to have some bullets or cheap throwing weapons
3. get the propane tank to the tunnel entry and step behind the tank
4. wait for the burning runner, which will eventually run from the tunnel (I don't remember if it is needed to turn off/on the power supply above the tunnel)
5. shoot just right when the runner is near the tank
6. repeat 4 more times

Runners are always burning so you don't need to set them on fire, and they are infinite. There a several propan tanks around the station plus you can get them respawned by going to coast (just several steps east the station), so that will be no problem too.
