View Full Version : Stars Of The Week Question

Why are the values of the Stars Of The Week cards HIGHER than their normal cards? I just got lucky and opened up a Zach Parise STOW card and his value is over 10,000 pucks in the trading section.

Just wondering why this is. Are they better to play with in the actual game or is it just a collector thing?? Cheers.

Stars of the Week in real life are then transfered to NHL 12, and they get their own special "star of the week" card. They are valued more because they are rare.

Most people collect the SOTW cards, but you can put them in your lineup. Since I've never got one, I'm not sure if the player's overall is inhanced.

Also, the more games left on the players career, the more valuable.

The stars of the week have an additional +3 added to all stats which make him a better player then his standard counterpart. Salary is also higher.
