View Full Version : Using 360 controller on Xbox

Ok so I've been wondering if there's a way to use my wired 360 controller on my original xbox. I like it so much more than the S-type controller.

I think it may be possible but I don't really want to hack up my controller to find out.

The reason I think it might be possible is this. Many people have spliced a male usb cable to the S-type controller and used it to play on the computer.

Now I'm wondering if I can splice an s-type connector to a wired 360 controller since the wiring for each seem to match up. I guess main obstacle would be the software. I have my doubts about the Xbox supporting the 360 controller.

I would think that it wouldn't be a possibility because of the guide button nd such.
I personally wouldn't risk splicing or cutting anything.
Why not just play your xbox games on your 360?

Unfortunatly you cant use the 360 controller on the xbox but ironicly you can use the xbox and/or 360 controller on the PC. I use my wired 360 controller for BF2 on the PC all the time, helps with the vehicles.
