So... I saw this blog on Kotaku that has 3 upcoming games from Ubisoft. And... well... I don't know what to say. Two of them seem like they'd be fine if aimed at a younger female audience... the third... well you decide.

Its called "business" lol. A lot of these gaming companies realize DS is the way to go because it'll sell. This is even more smart knowing that females owned DS's and enjoy it more than your casual PSP. I wouldn't be surprise they would make Wii games of this too.

O, I get that. That wasn't so much my point. My point was that the third game is about making & raising children and shows a girl on the cover that looks like she's still in her teens.

Here's a link to the Kotaku article (it's quite satirical): LINK HERE (http://kotaku.com/gaming/nintendo-ds/ubisoft-puts-women-in-their-place-287100.php)

You too can be 3 years old and learning to raise yourself.

Look closesly at the pictures of the babies in the third one.

You can see the watermarks from whatever photoshop program the dude was using.

Fake.

The games have been annouced - click for IGN article (http://games.ign.com/articles/805/805686p1.html) & if you search Kotaku own site you'll find this article (http://kotaku.com/gaming/instruct-them/ubisoft-puts-women-in-their-place-287100.php). So unless there is a huge conspiracy with IGN and Kotaku I'm sure these are real.

“Our consumer research revealed that the young girls’ market has been relatively overlooked. We are happy to introduce a variety of titles relevant to what girls in this age group have indicated they are most interested in.”

Yeah, the images may be fake, but the games I'm almost positive are real. Saw this a few days ago, and I'm sure if you dig you can find some press articles.

I want implying the naysayers!

Plus, the images MUST be fake, why would Ubisoft leave watermarks from iStockPhoto (or rather even use them?)

Kool, now no one has to raise their kids, just get them a DS and let them do it theirselves.

As far as the watermarks, maybe they were pressed for time for the cover images and rushed them?????
