I must of got lucky, I started the download 15 minutes into watching the Flavor Flav roast last night and it was finished a few minutes after it ended. So roughly a hour and a half

Thank God I'm waiting a couple of days. At that point, I think most hardcore people would have downloaded it, and I'll be buying the original game anyway.

Besides, I got way too much to do that I wouldn't be able to sit down and appreciate the demo before Thursday.

LOL, that is the point of a demo, at least good demo's anyway.

I downloaded this and stranglehold. They are both about the same size, Stranglehold downloaded in about a hour or so, Bioshock took 2 hours and 15 minutes. Crazy, everyone on my friend list downloaded it though and no one else even noticed that strangle hold had a demo  Both games were great, bioshocks graphics were freaking amazing and the framerate was fine. That was the only thing I was worried about, framerate, and Bioshock handles it well.

I really enjoyed the demo. I had very high expectations and it did not fail me. Most games disappoint me. I can't fucking wait for the full game.

It took me about 4-5 hours to download the demo today. But boy was it worth the wait. I remember first seeing the trailer for this game, the one when the guy gets drilled through the hand by the big daddy, and I thought, wow. Then I lost my excitement. After the demo I could not stop smileing, I can not wait to get my hands on the actual game.

yea thankgod microsoft updated xbox's to download crap while shut off, I just left it downloading overnight and it was finished by morning, so idk how long it took but I knew it was guna take long when I watched the whole 'Roast of Flava Flav' and came back to 5%

I wish the demo was longer and had more than two plasmids!

I like how I found a dead cat in a corner next to a thing that brings you back to life in that room where you first use your lightening bolt against a splicer "the one-two hit!"

It took a really long time for me, too. The file is also bigger than a lot of other demos, so that is also why it takes a while to download this one. And there were a lot of people downloading it at the same time, making it go even slower.

I didn't know this. So you can queue a load of downloads and then turn the 360 off and they will still download??

I didn't know this. So you can queue a load of downloads and then turn the 360 off and they will still download?? Yes you can. Although your 360 will appear to be off it will still be using power and your ethernet connection. Limit seems to be about six downloads at a time in the queue. Was an invaluable little addition to XBL during E3 and downloading all the trailers and demos.

There are two factors contributing to download time:

Demo size, in this case it's really big at 1.3 GB
Your connection speed. I have a pretty good one so i got the demo in a little over an hour.

took about 20 bomberman live games and it was downloaded for me, about 35 mins its worth the wait though lads... its fantabulous

Yes I didn't have a problem too. It is 1.3 GB like sln333 says but I guess many people downing it at the same time is the main problem that slows the servers down. Be patient it is well worth it.

If the download locks up and stops making progress cancel it and restart it. It will quickly pick up where it left off.

It's officially the largest file I had ever downloaded in a single go. I've played it, and I must say I was blown away.

The best way to describe the feeling is to compare it to the time when I was a kid that started up the SNES for the first time (my first console) and played Super Mario Bros. for the first time. So much to see, so much to take in. This is the mark of the new generation of games.

I've never felt so gleeful while playing a videogame for a very long time.

The downside, it was too short. I was aching to at least take on one Big Daddy and harvest a Little Sister in the demo. Oh well, maybe next time.

4-5 hours for me.

Played it for about 25 mins, then had to go to work. Played it agin today thinking it was gonna be a big demo, and only got about 2 minutes further! Gutted!

It was a short demo considering the file size, but I did enjoy it. Lookin forward to the full version now.
