Trials Evolution is the sequel to the wildly popular Xbox LIVE Arcade title "Trials HD" from developer Red Lynx.

It's also the first game of Microsoft's new Xbox LIVE "Arcade NEXT" program and as such the game has 400http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg instead of the regular 200http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg for Arcade titles.

Single Player:

The core construct of Trials Evolution is the single player element of the game. A relatively open "campaign" sees you performing difficult stunts and maneuvers to conquer a number of increasingly difficult environments.

A total of 16 single player achievements make up the main bulk of the 400http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/g-icon.gif in this title. A large percentage of them will come naturally as you progress through the various stages, however some are track specific such as "Scenic Route", "Hard the Hard Way", and "Burnt to a Crisp", just to name a few.

Multiplayer:

For the first time in the series, Multiplayer makes an appearance, and thankfully there's only a small handful of achievements linked to it.

"Fast Five" is awarded for winning five races, while achievements like "Community Spirt" and "Check out my Ride" are unlocked by interacting with the online component of the game.

An achievement trading thread for the online component exists here (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?p=5016948#post5016948).

Achievement Guide

Pass every track in the Flatliner Event.

Flatliner is the Extreme series of tracks in Trials Evolution, some of the most challenging and rage inducing tracks in the game.

In order to unlock Demon on Wheels II, you just need to pass all of the tracks. It does not matter how many restarts or faults you amass along the way, just complete them all.

Some tips are below:

Max speed is not always the best speed. Assess the obstacle that's prevent you from progressing and tackle it from a number of different angles.
Practice some of the more advanced techniques (i.e.: angled bunny hop, crate hopping, jump timings.) on the Hard levels.
The 250cc bike is once again the best bike to use for most levels, however it doesn't hurt to try the others if you feel they offer you more control.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1994/5-g7Y0E=.jpg Hard the Hard Way - 20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Finish "The Ascent" without faulting on the Rattler 125cc bike.

The Ascent is a level within the Cutting Edge (Hard) series of tracks.

A mostly uphill track, you must complete the whole thing without faulting (Don't make any mistakes), or restarting. You must also complete this on the Rattler 125cc, the bike you unlock upon completion of the "No Problemo" achievement.

The most difficult parts and how to pass them are detailed below:

To jump the TNT box at the very beginning, maintain a top speed after completing the very first jump and quickly bunny hop.
To complete the "island" directly after the previously mentioned area, roll to the beginning of the slats the jump rest on, then hit top speed and roll on your back wheel across the middle tires before hopping across.
To complete the log jump across the TNT shortly after the island, hold forward on the left stick until you're about to jump, and then quickly flick it back and forward to do a prompt bunny hop across.

A video guide is below.

Finish all tracks in the Walk in The Park Event using the Phoenix 250cc bike.

The Walk in the Park Event is the first series of tracks you unlock directly after getting your D license.

Once you've unlocked the Phoenix 250cc bike and the "School's Out" achievement, head back to The Walk in the Park series and complete it using the the Phoenix 250cc.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1994/5-v6kmc=.jpg The Editor's Apprentice - 20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Create a track of your own that has at least three path points, then test drive it.

From the main menu, access Track Central and then the Pro Editor. Select a track environment (Beggar's Bottom works best), and immediately lay down three path points with the http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/y.png button.

Once you've placed down three path points, press http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/a.png to place an end point, and then http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/start.png and choose "Test Track". Once you drive to the final end point the race will finish, and the achievement will unlock.

Make sure to save your track for usage in the "Custom Finish" achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1994/5-oaavQ=.jpg Custom Finish - 20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Host and finish a Private or Local Multiplayer match on a User-created Track with at least 2 players.

Head to the Multiplayer tab, start a Local session and use the track you constructed for "The Editor's Apprentice".

You can sign into a dummy/secondary profile to unlock this locally, but you must complete the track with both riders.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1994/5-lxWwE=.jpg Burnt to a Crisp - 20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Pass "Lab Rat" without faulting while constantly on fire.

Lab Rat is a level in the Cutting Edge series of tracks.

To complete this achievement you must navigate the whole stage while on fire from the start. To remain on fire, wait a few seconds once the level begins in order to bypass the initial stream of water.

About half way through the track, you'll encounter a small tank with water in it which will extinguish your flames. In order to remain ignited you must drain the tank, and you can do so by jumping the pipe that is suspended slightly above and before it.

A video guide is below.

Pass the A License Test and get the Phoenix.

The A License is the last license test you will take before combatting the Hard and Extreme sections of the game.

You go over a few advanced moves including bunny hopping up multiple crates, hopping on angles, and landing with precision. Upon completion of the tutorial the achievement will pop.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1994/5-8SQd4=.jpg No Problemo - 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Pass the D License Test and get your first bike.

This will be the first achievement most players will unlock. To get it, play through the compulsory tutorial at the start of the single player game.

The relatively short tutorial takes you through the ultimate basics of Trials riding, including movement, jumping, and course navigation.

Join a public multiplayer match using at least five custom bike and rider parts.

This is another simple achievement, however you'll need to explore the single player element of the game in order to unlock it.

As you complete the single player stages you're awarded cash prizes, and these lump sums can then be used to unlock new aesthetic bike parts and clothes for your rider.

From the main menu, navigate to Garage, and then you'll be presented with the customisation screen. Purchase a piece of custom equipment from each category for your rider, and then from at least five categories for one of your bikes.

Once you've done this, navigate to the Multiplayer menu and join any public multiplayer match. The achievement will then unlock.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1994/+RKCWA==.jpg Fast Five - 20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Win five matches in public multiplayer.

To unlock this achievement, simply navigate to the Multiplayer menu, and then join and win five matches.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1994/+zOL7Q==.jpg The Professional - 30http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Successfully complete the single player career.

In order to unlock The Professional you must amass 135 medals in the single player portion of the game and unlock the "Trials Cup".

These can be unlocked by completing the various levels and skill games available. Getting Silver on approximately 80% of the tracks and skill games will put you at 140 medals.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1994/+I1mLA==.jpg Loonie Lander - 20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
The hawk has landed. Time to show the flag! (The small one.)

To complete Loonie Lander, you must enter the UFO level under Circus Games.

Immediately fly high up and right, and continue going until you find a tall tower. Enter the circular shaft on top and then proceed to dodge and avoid all the obstacles until you come to the end of the maze.

A video guide is below.

Complete any Extreme track.

The Extreme tracks in Trials Evolution fall under the Flatliner series. To unlock the Flatliner series, accrue 135 medals across the single player campaign (Skill Games and Tournament medals count towards this total).

Once you've gained access to the series, complete any of the levels within to unlock the achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1994/+kqKsQ==.jpg Flawless Victory - 20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Finish the "Scenic Route" Tournament without any faults.

This achievement is not nearly as difficult as it is tedious.

The Scenic Route tournament comprises of five tracks ranging from Easy to Hard difficulties, most of which do not present any major challenges to complete.

I recommend using the Phoenix 250cc bike as its acceleration, speed, and control are all top tier and it's also slow enough to give you a chance to recover from small hiccups.

Finish the whole Tournament without making one fault or restarting once and you'll unlock this achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1994/+6pyIg==.jpg Nervous Twitch - 20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Doh! You had a near-perfect run on a Hard or Extreme track, but blew it after the last checkpoint.

The easiest track to complete Nervous Twitch on is Home Run, the first track in the Cutting Edge series.

After navigating past the giant wall with the fiery peak, you'll drop down and ride of a dirt mound before turning to face a ring of fire.

Accelerate and intentionally drive into the pond of water, and then reset your rider and the achievement will unlock.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1994/+Yt7lw==.jpg Community Spirit - 20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Post a time on another player's custom created track.

To complete this achievement, head to Track Central, enter the Get Tracks menu, then download and fully complete a track from any category.

Upon posting a time this achievement will unlock.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1994/+GuDBA==.jpg Unyielding II - 20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Finish "Rock Steady" without faulting or changing your rider's posture.

Similar to the "Full Throttle" II achievement, you must complete this whole level from the Terminal Velocity Event.

This time however you can release the throttle and use the brake, however you cannot alter your riders posture with the left stick.

The only challenging areas here are the beginning which can be passed by lightly suppressing the accelerator, and the area upon first entering the tunnel which can be passed by moving slowly and feathering the brakes occasionally.

A video guide is below.

Finish "Archipelago" without faulting or ever releasing the throttle.

A sequel achievement to the original found in Trials HD, Full Thottle II is awarded for completing the Archipelago level found within the Collateral Damage Event without ever letting go of http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/rt.png or making any faults.

Practice the level a few times using the Phoenix 250cc bike, and focus on balancing your rider across some of the more treacherous terrain found towards the start of the level.

Find every squirrel location hidden away in the secret corners of the world.

Throughout Trials Evolution's levels there is a total of 20 hidden squirrels.

Some are gained by completing levels while others are in hidden spots akin to the secret area achievements in Trials HD.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1994/-giZ2w==.jpg Beyond the Wall of Pain - 10http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg
Smash your bike and break every bone in one spectacular crash.

This achievement is actually a lot more difficult than it sounds, especially if you're riding under normal circumstances.

The easiest way to get this achievement is to complete the levels until you unlock the Cutting Edge series and then attempt the Dammed level. About ten to fifteen seconds into the level, large portions of concrete start exploding underneath you.

A little bit forward of this is a fence with TNT surrounded by explosive barrels. Drive right into the TNT and boom (Pun intended), there's your achievement.

Haha I apologise for starting it and then leaving it. I had to go to the gym.

The game, so far, is really average to me. The tracks up until Hard have literally been "Hold down the RT and hope you hit the jumps at the perfect speed."

There hasn't been much actual skill riding so far, but I'm at the Extreme tracks and I think that might change.

Implemented your Flatliner suggestion as I only just found out I had made that error. Will credit you accordingly.

Also, in relation to your bolded point. I didn't say they were required, just that the medals you accrue in the Skill Games and Tournaments do count towards your totals.

Well I have just Completed every track from "Walk in the Park" "Fuel for the Flames" "Terminal Velocity" "Collateral Damage" "Cutting Edge" "Death Valley" and no achievement :( I'm assuming I don't have to gold them all so wtf... I kinda suck at Trials was Hard enough to beat 1 or 2 of those tracks in Death Valley.

I've edited the guide accordingly as I do believe you need to unlock the Trials Cup to get the achievement, which does require 135 medals.

I credited/thanked you guys, too. :)

EDIT: It's 2am and I am off to bed. Please leave any changes and I'll make them when I wake up at 9am. Thanks!

Just confirmed that The Professional unlocks when you have 135 medals and the amount of medals is all it cares about. I didn't play a single level in Death Valley before I unlocked it.

It's "Trials Evolution", and I wasn't calling this game Trials HD, I was comparing the secret areas in TE to the secret area achievements in Trials HD.
