I'm playing MYPlayer on custom with adjusted sliders. Then I set it to rookie and I swear I should have something by now. Still at 0 gamerscore.

Not that I can remember. My Player stats don't go towards your "stat" achievements though. I found this out the hard way.

I don't think that difficulty matters. I haven't played My Player yet, so I'm not sure, but I know that difficulty doesn't matter in everything else so I don't see why it would in My Player. Like the above post said, none of the stats earned in My Player count towards the stat related achievements such as the strikeouts, doubles, homeruns, etc. That could be your problem, otherwise I don't know.

Any chance they'll have to be done in the major leagues?

Not sure what you are asking..??.. If you are asking if you can get the stat achievements in My Player once you reach the Majors, no you can not. You can only get the non-My Player achievements in non-simulated games (exhibition, season, dynasty, online).
