Introduction:

Welcome to my guide for Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes! Just like all of the other Lego games you will need two playthroughs in order to complete them. The first playthrough will be for completing the Story Mode, while the second one will be for finding all of the collectibles (Minikits, Gold Bricks & Red Bricks).

Step 1: Completing the Story Mode

There are a total of 15 story levels in the game with each lasting you around 20+ minutes if not longer to complete. As previous Lego games, these missions are not difficult. There may be some parts where you get stuck and become clueless on how to progress through the level. If that’s the case I suggest looking up a walkthrough on YouTube to guide you through the levels. Try not to worry too much about finishing the level with a “Super Hero” status. You will be able to get all of these easily on your second playthrough if you have cheats enabled. Also try not to focus on collecting all of the mini-kits on each of the levels. As you may know from playing previous Lego games, some Minikit collectibles are only found by using certain characters. You will be able to collect all of these on your second playthrough by using Free Play. Here's a list of all story-related achievements that cannot be missed.

Theatrical Pursuits
Harboring a Criminal
Arkham Asylum Antics
Dynamic Duo
Asylum Assignment
It's A Bird... It's A Plane...
Chemical Crisis
Chemical Signature
Unwelcome Guests
Destination Metropolis
Research and Development
Down to Earth
Underground Retreat
The Next President
Core Instability
Tower Defense
Heroes Unite

Step 2: Gotham City Free Roam + Collecting Gold/Red Bricks

I highly suggest doing this before you start collecting all of the mini-kits in your second playthrough. Scattered around Gotham City will be Gold and Red Bricks, Citizens in need of help, unlockable characters, Lego vehicles that you’re allowed to drive and a handful of studs to collect.

There are a total of 250 Gold Bricks in the game. These bricks are obtained by finishing story levels, saving citizens, finding all of them in a level and finding them throughout Gotham City. Some require you to get up to certain places in the city while using Batman or Robin’s special suits. These special suits can be found at the exact location where you will be finding each Gold Brick. On the other hand there are also Red Bricks that you can collect. If you have played previous Lego Games then you should have an idea of what they are. Each Red Brick contains a cheat that you can purchase and use in the game.

Now is also a great time to start finding and unlocking the characters. Unlockable characters can be found throughout Gotham City with a red spotlight over them. I recommend first finding and unlocking The Joker, Riddler, and Lex Luthor since you need them in order to obtain all of the red bricks throughout Gotham City. I also recommend finding the x2, x4, x6, x8 and x10 character stud cheats before purchasing any other Red Bricks (cheats). Stud multipliers add up with each enabled so by having all of them enabled you will have an x3840 bonus. This will allow you to rack up a tremendous amount of studs and will allow you to purchase anything in the game. All cheats can be selected from the Extras Menu.

After completing Step 2 you should have collected at least 200 Gold Bricks and have found at least 40 citizens. The rest of the Gold Bricks can be found by collecting all of the minikit figures and citizens in each level, which is what we will be doing in Step 3.Here's a list of the achievements you should have been able to collect during Step 2.

Inferior Machines
Test Hero
Subway Hero
Green Lantern's Light
Halfway Through
Extra! Extra!
Kal-El Last Son of Krypton
Super-Villain
Gorilla Thriller
Justice League
The House of Luthor

Step 3: Collecting the Minikits + Mop Up

Now is the time to make your second playthrough of Story Mode in order to collect all of the Minikits. Each level can be replayed by entering the computer terminal inside the Batcave. Remember that you must select the Free Play option when choosing the level you want to play. You're also going to want to turn on the cheats "Gold Brick Finder" and "Peril Finder". This way you will be able to locate the citizens and minikit collectibles a lot easier. If you have been following the Roadmap then you should already have these cheats unlocked. You will also need to get a "Super Hero" status in each of these levels. If you turn on all of your stud multipliers then you shouldn't have a problem.

Conclusion

Lego Batman 2 is probably one of the most fun Lego games to date. Easy enough to complete while having tons of fun attempting to do so.

Climb to the top of Wayne tower while riding a Gorilla and playing as a female character.

If you have completed the game already then you should have Wonder Woman unlocked in order to use for this achievement. If you do not then you could free roam Gotham City and start unlocking the characters.

Gorilla’s can be found in the cages at the Gotham Zoo, where you will need to use a remote terminal to open up the cage. Choose a girl character and jump onto the Gorilla by pressing :ybut:. Now you’re going to want to set a marker at the Wayne Tower, which can be found at the south part of the map near the bottom of the bridge in the middle. It’s the tallest building in the game so it will be very hard to miss. Once you’re there, find a side of the building where it will let you climb up with the Gorilla. The achievement will unlock once you’ve reached the very top.

This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed.

You will get your first chance to use Superman during Story Level 5 (Chemical Crisis). Simply double tap :abut: in order to fly. You will need to use Superman anyway during the levels in order to get past various obstacles. Remember that there are a lot of studs scattered up in the air that only Superman would be able to get.

Brainiac can be found and purchased for 500,000 studs in the middle of Gotham City. Refer to the picture below to see the exact location where he can be found.

After you have purchased and unlocked Brainiac you will need to find a LexBot. LexBot’s can be found by roaming around Gotham City or playing specific levels in Story Mode. You could always choose to use the cheat (W49CSJ) to have him unlocked. While roaming around Gotham City, hold :ybut: to choose the LexBot character, and then switch to your other character and select Brainiac. Simply smash the LexBot up with Brainiac until you unlock the achievement.

Obtaining more than 10,100,000,000 is extremely easy as long as you have all of the stud multipliers enabled. I unlocked this when going back to collect all of the minikit figures in each level. Just make sure you go into the Extras Menu and enable every one which will lead to a x3840 stud bonus.

Complete the Bonus level

The bonus level can be found in the Gotham Park of Gotham City, which is located in the center of your map. The bonus level will be shown by a large Gold Brick and will require 175 Gold Bricks in order to be opened. The objective in this bonus level is to reach one million studs by destroying everything that you can in the Lego world of Gotham. You will be allowed to use the following characters: Batman, Robin, The Penguin, Clark Kent, and Superman.

There are quite a few tricky spots in this bonus level which could leave you clueless for hours, but I'm going to do my best to explain to you where they are and how to complete them.

1: In order to get Superman you will need to reach the third part of the bonus level, which is all the way to the right of the map. There will be a telephone booth as soon as you walk across the bridge. Simply walk into the booth with Clark Kent and you will be changed into Superman.

2: "Purple and dark blue statues, how do I destroy them???" - This may be the trickiest part of the level, but here's how to destroy them... You're first going to want to have access to Superman. Once you have him you will need to go to the middle part of the level near the green and purple paint pumps. There will be a small platform that is sticking out of the water. What you're going to want to do is fly up there with Superman and stand on the pole. The pole will start to go down and you will be allowed to drain the paint. You will notice the Joker's Mech coming out of the green paint. That is how you will be destroying the purple and dark blue statues at the end of the level.

*Once you have used the Mech to bring up the Wayne Tower, fly up there with Superman and you will notice a couple of purple studs.*

http://i.imgur.com/14suz.jpg

3: When you're riding the Metro to the other side of the level you will notice a few purple studs outside. There is a terminal to the right of the Metro that you will need to use in order for you to open the doors. You can also destroy the seats inside the metro for some extra studs!

4: You can destroy the Church! This will provide you with a tons of coins so make sure you do it! You will have to use Superman or Clark Kent in order to take it down. You can also use Batman's suit which has explosives to blow it up.

Unlock all Justice League characters (Single Player Only)

(I recommend unlocking these characters after you have accumulated enough studs by using the multiplier bricks.)

Most of these characters will be unlocked with progression of the story, while the others will need to be found throughout Gotham City. These unlockable characters can be located by pressing :ybut: to scan your map. Their location is represented by the yellow, door looking objects. Some doors will require a certain amount of Gold Bricks in order for you to open them, and the characters will need to be bought in order for you to unlock them.

Here's a list of the Justice Leagues characters that will need to be unlocked:

Batman
Superman
Green Lantern
Cyborg
The Flash
Wonder Woman
Martian Manhunter
Aquaman

Play a level in co-op

This must be played in Story Mode, Free Play will not work!

Go ahead and plug in a second controller and press start whenever you are in the game. You do not need to have a friend with you to play since you can easily get this by yourself. Simply press start near the end of a mission and you will get the achievement after completion. You can “Drop Out” out of any game by pressing Start > Drop Out.

Rescue all Citizens in Peril (Single Player Only)

There are a total of 50 citizens that need to be found throughout the game. Some are found by roaming around Gotham City while others are found during story levels. To be exact, 15 citizens can be found during Story levels(15 Levels), while the rest of them (35) can be found in Gotham City free roam. Each citizen will require a special character in order to rescue. I recommend attempting to save the citizens that are in story levels during your second playthrough. This way you will have all of the characters unlocked in order to rescue the citizens.

An easy way to determine where a citizen is located is by using the cheat "Peril Finder". This is collected when searching for all of the red bricks in the game and could be very useful. Similar to the Minikit and Brick locators, the Peril Finder will bring up a purple arrow to show where each citizen is located throughout the levels and Gotham City.

To determine which levels that you have already found a citizen in is by looking at your map. When going to select a story mission you will notice that there will be a face in the bottom-right hand of the screen. If the face has a happy smile then you have already found them in that level. If the face has a sad face then that means that you still need to rescue him in that level.

Get Super Hero in all levels (Single Player Only)

In order to get a "Super Hero" status in each level you will need to fill the bar at the top of the screen with yellow. Each stud you collect will keep increasing the bar. This is pretty easy by just playing the levels as long as you destroy everything, or it can be extremely easy by using the stud multipliers (x2, x4, x6, x8, x10). These multipliers can all be enabled at once and will turn into a x3840 bonus for each stud you collect.

Stud Multiplier cheats are earned by finding and purchasing the Red Bricks in the game. Please click on "Cheat Codes" if you would like to see a list of cheats that can be used in the game.

Unlock all characters (Single Player Only)

There are a total of 50 characters included in the game. Some will be unlocked via story completion, while others will need to be bought at various locations throughout Gotham City. Some characters can also be unlocked by using cheat codes. For a list of cheats codes in the game, please see the thread listed below.

CHEAT CODES (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=374814)

Unlockable characters are shown on the map as tiny, yellow doors and will require a certain amount of gold bricks in order to be opened. She will be found near the Gotham Park and will be the last door you will see on your map.

Use all the Minikit vehicles

There are 15 Minikit vehicles that you will need to use in order to unlock this achievement. Each vehicle is unlocked after collecting all of the minikits in a given level. There will be five land vehicles, five air vehicles, and five water/sea vehicles with each of them requiring you to be at certain computer terminals in order to have access.

You will need to hop into each vehicle in order for the vehicle to be marked as "used". The achievement will unlock upon jumping it to the last vehicle.

There are a total of 20 Red Bricks that can all be found throughout Gotham City. Red Bricks are the “cheats” in the game and will need to be opened with The Joker, Riddler, or Lex Luthor. They can be found by opening up your map and scanning the area. Each red circle on the map represents a red brick. Some will be hiding up on rooftops while other will be in corners on the ground and will require one of the listed characters above to be opened.

Collect all the gold bricks (Single Player Only)

Gold bricks can be collected by doing several things:

Completing every Story Mode level (15)
Collecting all 10 Minikits in each level (15) (see “Minikit Hero”)
Rescuing all Citizens in Peril (50) (see “My Hero”)
Earning “Super Hero” status in each level (15) (see “Super Hero”)

Finding them around Gotham City

This achievement can be extremely time consuming since most Gold Bricks are found by roaming around Gotham City. Gold Bricks can be located by opening up your map and pressing :ybut: to scan the area. Some are collected by using Batman or Robin to get up to the brick, while others will require you to save citizens and to complete vehicle checkpoints. Each citizen that you save will earn yourself one gold brick, which nets you 50 gold bricks in total for saving all of the citizens in the game. Gold Bricks are also earned by collecting all of the minikit figurines in a given level.

Nice one on getting this up so fast. I know it's WIP, but I noticed a few things, so I'll give you a heads up.

Gorilla Thriller - It’s the tallest building in the game so it will be very hard to miss it. - Mistake. "So it WON'T be very hard to miss."

Kal-El Last Son of Krypton - After you have unlocked Zod, switch to him by holding with one character, then switch to the other character and choose Green Lantern. Simply attack Zod with Superman until the achievement unlocks. - Confused by the Green Lantern part... Achievement is for Zod/Superman not GL.

Combo Hero - Basically what you're gonna want to do is - Sorry, *going.

Can you list off a few more ways to earn studs? I need roughly 60,000 more.

The only thing I can suggest is to walk around and try to find some studs that you may have missed. I know there were a couple that I had missed that were hiding in some spots.

1: Did you fly up to the top of the Wayne Tower with Superman to pick up the two purple studs?
2: There are several blue studs all the way to the left of the map at the roller-coaster. They are wedged in between what is holding the tracks up.
3: Did you get the studs that are inside the metro? You can destroy lots of seats inside and also open the doors to get the purple ones.

That's all I really know until we find out what the telescope does.

I don't think it will end up being what you need, though. They are mostly silver studs. Have you took out the small building where you get Robin's acrobat suit at? You can destroy most of that building by using Superman's laser.

Damn, I'm not sure then what else you would need. I know I played the level for at least an hour and had destroyed every thing possible. Just wondering, have you completely destroyed the small building next to the electrical unit (There are 3 small units to add electricity to)? I know you can take Superman and destroy some of the top part of the building.

I've purchased all the vehicles as well... Would the start of the race be on the same island as the Gardens? Or maybe cross islands...

Do you know where each vehicle was purchased? Cuz if so, I can go to that location and see if it triggers the race to begin.

Great guide, helped me a lot with the bonus level.

I just have a few suggestions that you should add to your guide:

1) For Dynamic Duo, the level must be a story play through and not a free play.

2) For matters of correctness, the man who shoots lasers out of his eyes is Clark Kent and not Bruce Wayne.

Overall a very solid guide though.

Unlock all female heroes and villains. (Single Player Only)

This will be one of the last achievements that you will unlock since the last character is Supergirl. Supergirl is unlocked after you have found 250 Gold Bricks and will be the last character door on your map. Each hero and villain will need to be purchased throughout Gotham City. The villains will be represented by a red spotlight and their face on the map, while the heroes will need to be purchased by going to the doors on your map.

Harley Quinn
Poison Ivy
Catwoman
Wonder Woman
Hawkgirl
Supergirl
Batgirl
Black Canary
Cheetah
Huntress

Lois Lane (needed ?)
Vicki Vale (needed ?)

Katana (DLC only, needed ?)

Of course, if you are trying to unlock all the characters for "Team Building", then this achievement is a gimmie. I figured, since you listed the other character-required achievements, you might want to list this one as well.

Get 100% (Single Player Only)

In order to fully 100% the game you will need to do each of the following:

Collect all Minikits in each story level
Collect all Red and Gold Bricks
Get a “Super Hero” status in each story level
Find and rescue all civilians throughout the levels and Gotham City free roam.
Find and unlock all characters in the game

Do you have to unlock all the vehicles to get 100%? How many total are there? I would also reference the achievements related to each.

For example:

Collect all Minikits in each story level (see “Minikit Hero”)
Find and purchase all Red Bricks (see “Extra! Extra!”)
Find and collect all Gold Bricks (see “City Slicker”)
Earn “Super Hero” status in each level (see “Super Hero”)
Rescue all Civilians in Peril (see “My Hero”)
Find, unlock and purchase all characters in the game (see “Team Building”)

Collect all the gold bricks (Single Player Only)

Gold bricks can be collected by doing several things:

Saving Citizens
Completing Levels
Amusement Park Mini-Games
Vehicle Checkpoints
Finding them around Gotham City

This achievement can be extremely time consuming since most Gold Bricks are found by roaming around Gotham City. Gold Bricks can be located by opening up your map and pressing :ybut: to scan the area. Some are collected by using Batman or Robin to get up to the brick, then others will require you to save citizens and to complete vehicle checkpoints. Each citizen that you save will earn yourself one gold brick, which nets you 50 gold bricks in total for saving all of the citizens in the game. Gold Bricks are also earned by collecting all of the minikit figurines in a given level.

I would put how many gold bricks are unlocked in parenthesis as you list them. I would also bullet list that for each level where you find all the minikits, you unlock a gold brick.

Don't you also get a gold brick for each level you get "Super Hero" status in? And completing the Bonus Level?

Rescuing all Citizens in Peril (50)
Completing every Story Mode level (15)
Collecting all 10 Minikits in each level (15)
Earning “Super Hero” status in each level (15)
Complete the Bonus Level (1)
Amusement Park Mini-Games (?)
Vehicle Checkpoints (?)
Finding them around Gotham City (?)

I know in previous Lego games you got a gold brick for getting "True Jedi" in the Star Wars games or "True Pirate" in Pirates. I don't remember if Lego Batman 1 or Lego Indy 1 & 2 utilized the gold bricks. Don't know about Lego Harry since I never played those two.

For Lego Pirates, you got a gold brick for completing the final hidden bonus level. Same thing for the Lego Star Wars games for each bonus mission for each episode.

I would only assume that if this game utilizes the gold bricks, you get one for earning "Super Hero" and finishing the bonus level. If anyone can confirm, it would be appreciated.

Ya know, thinking about it, it's kind of redundant to list that you need all the minikits, rescue all citizens, complete the bonus level and get "Super Hero" status in all levels for the 100% achievement since you get a gold brick for everything you do. You need to find all the gold bricks to get the 100%, so listing those isn't necessary in that achievement solution. Big duh to myself.

Find, unlock and purchase all vehicles in the game

Should be:

Completing every Story Mode level (15) (see individual achievements)
Collecting all 10 Minikits in each level (15) (see “Minikit Hero”)
Rescuing all Citizens in Peril (50) (see “My Hero”)
Earning “Super Hero” status in each level (15) (see “Super Hero”)
Unlock and complete the Bonus Level (1) (see “Toy Gotham”)
Amusement Park Mini-Games (?)
Vehicle Checkpoints (?)
Finding them around Gotham City (?)

Alright, thank you. The Amusement Park mini-games and vehicle checkpoints are apart of finding them around Gotham, so I took them off the list. Still don't know how many are just in Gotham City alone, and I also don't really see the need for including that since they're all on your map.

Fly with Superman

You will get your first chance to use Superman during Story Level 5 (Chemical Crisis). Simply double tap :abut: in order to fly. You will need to use Superman anyway during the levels in order to get past various obstacles. Remember that there are a lot of studs scattered up in the air that only Superman would be able to get.

Just a minor thing...

I would put "This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed" for this achievement since you have to fly as Superman regardless.

Also, I would link the minikit guide thread to the actual achievement for the minikit cars ("Minikit Hero" - they're kind of directly related) in case someone doesn't read the roadmap.

Also, when they are available, will you be linking guides to the Red Bricks and the Citizens in Peril? Even though you can unlock those two "Finder" cheats with cheat codes, some players might want to do it legit. There are numerous images showing the Red Bricks and the required characters to unlock them online already. Not sure about the Citizens, though. That would be helpful as well.

How many vehicles are in the game and are needed to unlock the 100% achievement? I saw somewhere online that listed 55 vehicles. Is that correct?

Is there one Citizen in Peril in each of the 15 story levels and the remaining 35 are in Gotham City?

Do you need Black Canary for "Justice League" (JLA in the 1960's)? What about the Huntress (JL International)? Supergirl? They were all part of JL at one point or another, just don't know if the game devs know that.

EDIT - According to this link (http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/LEGO_Batman_2:_DC_Super_Heroes#Vehicles), there are 29 vehicles (23 land, 3 water and 3 air). Plus, I read in another thread that you get 1 last land vehicle (Harley Quinn's Motor Bike) for getting 100%, making it 30 vehicles in all.

Alright, I changed the Superman achievement to story-related. I have linked the Minikit Thread on the specific achievement and will do the rest if someone makes a guide for the citizens.

I can't remember exactly how many vehicles are in the game, but I think the website that had listed 55 is correct. There are definitely more than 29 vehicles in game.

Yes, there is one Citizen in Peril in each of the 15 story levels. The rest are found throughout Gotham City. I will add that to the guide.

I'm not sure about Black Canary and Huntress since I already had them unlocked at the time I had unlocked the achievement. If someone that hasn't unlocked the achievement at the time of not having them unlocked then that would confirm it. Until then, I'll leave it like that.

Thanks for the suggestions.

For "Justice League", I read on Trueachievements that there are only 8 characters you need for the achievement: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and Cyborg. This directly relates to the original lineups of both the 1960 J.L. and the 2011 DC Reboot J.L. (Manhunter was in 1960, Cyborg was in 2011). Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Black Canary, Huntress and Supergirl were all later additions, and according to TA, are NOT needed for the achievement. The achievement tile also does not have Martian Manhunter pictured, but instead has Robin, who was never in the J.L. It does have Cyborg, though. Maybe they screwed up and put Robin in there except Manhunter.

Thanks for confirming the Citizens. I'm searching for a guide but haven't come up with anything; just walkthrough videos for each level.

I'm gonna go to Best Buy or Gamestop tomorrow and sneak a peek at the Prima guide to verify the amount of vehicles and a couple of other things.

Video Games Blogger has a guide to where all the Red Bricks are, but that site is so bogged down with ads and is a pain in the ass to load the pages, I wouldn't link it. I would post a guide in this forum based on that guide, but don't think that would be kosher. The only guide you really need are for the five where there aren't any cheat codes. The Blogger also has a video for the five Stud Multiplier bricks that was created by the same people who did the Minikit videos (which he also linked).

Here's the link to the guide if anyone wants to risk going there:

Cheetah
Huntress

Thanks for the suggestions.

Actually, there are 55 vehicles in the game. What I did is I looked at each Minikit video and fast-forwarded it to the end to see what vehicle that level's minikits unlocked. There are 25 land, 15 air and 15 water vehicles.

If anyone wants to know which vehicles are built from the minikits and are needed for the "Minikit Hero" achievement, here they are:

Theatrical Pursuits - Harley Quinn’s Monster Truck
Harboring a Criminal - Joker’s Speedboat
Arkham Asylum Antics - Two-Face’s Truck
Asylum Assignment - Scarecrow’s Biplane
Chemical Crisis - Joker’s Helicopter
Chemical Signature - LexCorp Juggernaut
Unwelcome Guests - Batwing
Destination Metropolis - LexCorp VTOL
Research and Development - Police Car
Down to Earth - Police Boat
Underground Retreat - Penguin’s Submarine
The Next President - Mr. Freeze’s Iceberg
Core Instability - Batmobile
Tower Defense - Batboat
Heroes Unite - Wonder Woman’s Invisible Jet

And here are the stud requirements for each level for the "Super Hero" achievement:

Theatrical Pursuits - 125,000 studs
Harboring a Criminal - 90,000 studs
Arkham Asylum Antics - 40,000 studs
Asylum Assignment - 105,000 studs
Chemical Crisis - 313,000 studs
Chemical Signature - 90,000 studs
Unwelcome Guests - 85,000 studs
Destination Metropolis - 120,000 studs
Research and Development - 100,000 studs
Down to Earth - 50,000 studs
Underground Retreat - 110,000 studs
The Next President - 55,000 studs
Core Instability - 90,000 studs
Tower Defense - 50,000 studs
Heroes Unite - 40,000 studs

Those are all the ones that I can think of. Haven't played the game in awhile so I can't remember all of them.

Test a custom character

You MUST complete the Story Mode first.

In order to create a custom character you will need to be inside the BatCave. Upon entering the Batcave turn left and you will see two Batman symbols on a wall. Head over there and step on the button to create a custom character. The achievement will unlock after you select “Use Current Character”.

If you do not want to create a custom character, you can always bring up the character selection by holding :ybut:, and choosing one of the custom characters silhouettes to the right or left of the menu.

You don't have to beat the game, just beat one level. Select Free Play for any level. When you are in the game hold Y and select the custom character, and the achievement should unlock.

You can plug in your second controller anytime during the level and still unlock the achievement. Basically, any level is the 'easiest', as you do not have to play the entire level with a buddy.

You are right in saying you can press :ybut: to bring up the character selection, but didn't say *when* you could do that. You may want to put in the guide that after Level 4, you can start playing the levels again in Free Play where you can select any character to play with (once you get in the level). People might think you can do that at any time when really you can only do that free roaming around Gotham after the story is complete. Just a minor edit for a minor achievement.

Otherwise, the guide looks good.

Batman/Black Canary/Killer Moth can all blow up the glass.Man Bat can break glass as well.

About the guide: For "Kal-El Last Son of Krypton" and "Green Lantern's Light", you can also just beat the boss fights as the respective characters and that will unlock the achievement.

Of course, the method currently given in the guide will work if you used someone else to beat them.

Yes, but you will need to purchase him. After unlocking him, switch to him as your second player, then have Green Lantern as the first player. Simply break him into pieces with the first player and achievement unlocked.

Firstly, thanks for the guide - really appreciate the effort. One suggestion. For the roadmap, it is possible to obtain a number of red bricks before you unlock the riddler, joker and Lex Luthor. The red bricks in question are:

Studs x2 (100K)
Studs x4 (200K)
Red brick Finder (50K) (not so useful early on so, this can be ignored for now)
Mini-kit Finder (50K) (again, could be more of a distraction during story mode, so ignore until later)

Once you have 100K in story mode play through, you could go get Studs x2. This will not only help with Hero Status, but also help with getting studs for all your purchases and the "House of Luthor" achievement. Once you enable Studs x2 and get to 200K in story mode, you again can go purchase the Studs x4. This will give you Studs x8 during the remainder of Story mode.

maybe worth updating the bit about the bonus level that if you screw up the elec transfer part (ie transfer 2 lots of elec to one terminal if you don't know what you are doing), you are stuck and must restart. Not come across the ability to get stuck in a bonus level before but it occurs in this one.
