With the transfer window now closed im interested to know what everyone thinks about their new signings. Are you impressed or disappointed and where will the new players fit into your team?

For me its Newcastle:

Beye - Haven't seen him play but he was their captain so can't be half bad and he solves the problem of our injury filled quality depleted right back position.

Faye - Not someone I've rated that highly but if Big Sam signed him twice he must have some quality. Gives us a back up to Nicky Butt and cover at centre back. Our only signing that im not 100% happy with.

Jose Enrique - Spanish U21 international, finally a good quality left back. Saw him make his début on Wednesday in the cup and he looked a good player who will only get better with time.

Viduka - May be just what we need. He's strong, good in the air, can hold the ball up - something we've missed since Shearer retired. I can see him playing every game he's fit with wither Owen or Martins (or both) playing off him.

Smith - I was surprised that we got Smith I thought he was going to stay with Man U, not that im complaining he's a cracking little player. An excellent striker but with our front line I can see him being played in midfield all season. Either way im very happy to have him, a player that wears his heart on his sleeve and gives his all for the team.

Cacapa - Like Beye the captain of his previous team so he must have quality. Haven't seen enough of him to comment yet but I hope he can fit in as I think Taylor and Rozehnal are going to be our first choice defensive partnership.

Rozehnal - Never heard of him when he signed, I’ve seen him play more than any other new signing and he is solid as a very large rock! Him and Taylor in the heart of our defence........not worried in the slightest.

Geremi - The man oozes quality. For a start he is a set piece specialist which given the departure of Solano is invaluable to us, he can play in 3 or 4 different positions, can play either in an attacking midfield or can hold and play defensively. When we bought him I thought he would be for right back but seeing him play a few times now he must play in our midfield, the man is fast becoming one of my favourite players.

Manchester United

Tevez - Was an admirer of him back in the World Cup and was shocked he went to a team such as West Ham, great to see him get his chance at a top team like Manchester United

Nani - Haven't seen him play much so not sure yet, from what I have heard though he is a good prospect for the future so good to know Manchester United have him under contract.

Hargreaves - Not sure about him, i kind of admire him in a way but sometimes he just seems a boring rubbish player to watch.
