We've hit 50,000 followers, which means it's time for an announcement! Coming Fall: a new way to earn Rewards based on your Achievements!

I'm looking forward to seeing what they have in store for us. Darn shame the majority of my achievements are offline though, that might cause issues with whatever they're planing.

I'm sure they can't do stuff like this because of cheaters.

XboxLiveRewards has a reputation of handing out rewards 2 to 4 months later, so they might be able to wrap up things in that timeframe for a small, nominal reward.

Hope it's a retroactive thing. :D

Hope it's a retroactive thing. :D
odds are it wont be....

Im sure it will be limited to a certain time frame too (like this weekend, get 10 MSP for 100 GS or something silly like that). It's still better then a stick in the eye.

I would like to see a market place. You do not lose points, but say when you hit 50,000, you can get a free type of arcade game and thing and that. So for people, who have like 70,000+ can get a lot of stuff when it comes out and every 10,000 or 5,000 you can get different stuff.

Hopefully it'll be like "unlock "x" amount of achievements" and receive "x" amount of msp per week/month or whatever

My guess is that it will be something close to what the playxbla blog does now. Where they give a set of a couple of achievements on new games and if you get those then you might get something in exchange. Really doubt it will be retroactive.

Cool. Hopefully this'll be worthwhile and not a waste of time. :p

If it's retroactive, Stallion's never gonna have to buy Microsoft Points again lol

http://playxbla.com/ in case you never heard of it. I have won like 10 games off them in the past couple months. Some were getting certain achievements on games over a weekend.

Will be interesting to see what they'll do.

At least they are doing something right. They really need to start up couple new things with PS Plus now starting to get decent. I mean, free awesome games for PS Plus, that is cool but MS needs to start up a few different things too.

I'm guessing it's like when you reach a specific number of cheevos or gamerpoints you will automatically get rewarded. Still looking forward to this!

I might hold off on hitting 100k just in case it isn't retroactive and something based on total points.

This and what about the ones of us...me...who suck at games? Will I get to have a handicap like in golf? :)

It has to be. The people who pretty much bought Xbox 360 when it came out, won't get anything? Nah, it has to be kind of retro but NOT in the sence of getting a drop ton of points, but something. Like a 100,000 hat or something!

Whoa, whoa. I wouldn't go that far. For all we know, it could just be 20MSP.

Whatever it is it wont be much, and it wont count ones you already have or they would have to give out tons of free msp then (theres loads of people that have over 200000) and then they would loose out on too much money

I believe bing.com (http://www.bing.com) also offers Microsoft points as some of their rewards. You gotta do some dumb little chores to accumulate points to redeem for em though. (still beats paying IMO, every lil free bit helps.)
