All the tactical packages sound pretty damned good

Hologram is so under-used in Reach. If used right, it it VERY effective..happy to see its back

Video games used to be so much more simple.

Hoping for an ability-less playlist, just nothing at all.

Wasnt there a sentry turret in the list in one of those old shite quality videos a while back and does this also mean no jetpack?

I'm hoping it stays that way in 4. It was the main ability i used and on tight quarter maps it meant our team usually won;)

The hardlight shield is kinda like armor lock from the looks of it just cover the front though

i dont mind some change but this is just too dam much i mean it all sounds so confusing. I know im gonna suck the first few days if not weeks while playing live if i have to learn about all this shit. I remember the when halo 3 was out everything was simple and easy to understand but this is just way over the top for me.

I agree, It certainly does have it's advantages.

I hope not, I didn't find it to be all that useful to be honest. If they could sort out the delay between sprinting and all of a sudden shooting a bullet it might be better. It often gets me killed.

I don't like the Firepower package. If I want to carry sniper and rocket launcher, I shouldn't need a perk to do it...unless they mean carrying 2 snipers in both slots then fuck yeah that's awesome.

A question I have though is for the Hardlight Shield: It says to protect players from incoming fire. Does that mean it's ineffective against vehicles, unlike it's Armor Lock brethren?

mmm, not sure how i feel about that. a lot of these are game-changing, but thats always been a key fundamental in halo - "dont just scope down like a scrub and go into tunnel vision, pay attention to your surroundings." now they can see radar nomatter what? noob friendly

the random wepaon spawns are pretty bad as well, that was always a staple in halo matches, map control and knowing who has the power weapons and when.

higher shield recharge rate? also the ability to carry two primary weapons (overkill), and more ammo (bandolier).. honestly? i saw a another "perk" that you can choose when you earn the reward for getting kills in a match. one is where you have super movement speed, another is where you weapon will do more damage (stopping power).

im still playing Halo3 atm, and looking at this is like dumbfounding.

i agree that sprinting in halo didnt feel smooth at all, mainly because you cannot really turn or have control over whats happening while sprinting. maybe halo4 has it different, but im assuming its about the same mechanic as reach. for example like whenever you jump off something while sprinting, the animation looks so goofy and you still waste stamina. sprint on halo reach was like an on or off switch.
