I believe the D-Link DGL 4500 is discontinued and no longer supported by D-Link. I had one of those for the longest time and loved it.

Depending on your price range, I now have a Belkin N900 dual band router and have had 0 issues with it. I tried a Netgear for a little while but it didn't do the job for me.

Most online stores will have routers available.

Man, marketing departments are really good at how to mislead dumb people into buying overpriced stuff by just adding a simple word to a product that does the exact same thing as another product that doesn't have that word. Seriously think you need a router with the word "gaming" for it to fully work for gaming?

Here is a LINK (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Category/guidedSearch.asp?CatId=35&cm_re=Networking-_-Spot%2001-_-Wireless%20Networking) to TigerDirect's wireless section....At the very least it will help give you some ideas.
Do not worry about trying to run a gigabit system, even with CAT-6 cables...internet hasn't caught up to those speeds.

If you are running multiple X-Boxes, you might want to look into "Dual Band"...so you do not run into the whole "MTU Error" crap.

Thank you!

99.9% of people would do just fine buying whatever router is on sale at your retailer of choice. If you have to come here to ask what kind/model router you need, chances are you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a regular router and one of these "gaming" routers. Sure, some of them offer more options and functionality, but anyone who has to come here and ask what kind of router to buy is unlikely to know how to to use these features anyway, or for that matter even know how to access them.

Well as the title of the thread says i asked "where" to buy. it was the main subject. i just asked what ones other people might be using seen as i was on the subject. i also showed the one i was lookin at. ;)
