Has anyone else noticed the HUGE differences between the halo 3 forward unto dawn and the one they have in halo 4 as seen by the mega bloks set they announced today? Here's links to pics to show differences

Wow. Im thinking the 2nd one's the Infinity. It could be referring to the Forward Unto Dawn series and not the ship

As usual, they mess up with canon. One thing I hate is the most are the military ranks not consistent. In Halo 1, 2, 3, Wars, ODST, and Reach they use the usual Naval ranks. But in the live parts of the Halo 4 trailer, there's all sorts of weird ranks symbols.

I noticed this when they released the little Forward Unto Dawn avatar prop a while back. I'd say it's just 343i using artistic liberty to keep the look in line with how the Infinity looks. Which still wouldn't make any sense since the Forward Unto Dawn was built long before the Infinity was and as far as I know, they are entirely different classes of frigates.

FUD was destroyed in Halo 3. This is the UNSC Infinity. Check the trailer.

This is the UNSC Infinity.

No it's not, compare the Infinity to the Forward Unto Dawn's MegaBlox set.

They're two completely different classes of ships.

Pretty sure its a PR slip-up. Im pretty sure the toy image is actuallyy the Infinity as FUD was destroyed in Halo 3. The remnant is what the chief is floating in for Halo 4s first level.

@Ocean: Probably an inconsistency as well, but actually the Infinity crew is mostly consisting of Spartan IV and ONI civvies. The S-III and S-IV projects were army divisions compared to the S-IIs, so they wouldnt have Naval insignias or ranks anyway.
*note: S-IV classification isnt 100%. It could be any division or any combination since spartan augs have become more mainstream at this point in the series.

The Forward Unto Dawn was Torn in half in Halo 3. Not Destroyed.

Even If both ships are not the Forward Unto Dawn, I know They changed the Forward Unto Dawn in some significant way.

Quite a few people over on the Waypoint Forums are Pretty unhappy about it.
