I am using a wireless router to play on x-box live but lately it has been disconnecting me from x-box live alot during games, is there some configurations or something that i can use to fix this?

Make sure you're computer isn't doing anything that is 'network-intensive'. (AKA: downloading porn, music, movies, etc) ;) Also, if you're using a wireless adapter for your 360, try running an ethernet cable instead.

Mine went through a phase of doing this, I tried everything, even removing protection my router, still did it. Then it just went as was fine.

What signal strength do you get on XBOX Live from your router?

Sometimes my phone disrupts it. My tip change your wireless internet adapter from the back port to one of the ports on the front of the 360.

Honestly on all my time on this and many other message boards I don't think I've seen a less helpful and more pointless post than this one.Seriously man does post count matter that much to you? Look around the site and I'm sure you'll notice we go for quality not quantity.

- To the guy above me,just curious as my bro has a wireless adapter that craps out all the time, would that do anything to help? I mean,it just seems like it would be exactly the same, not disputing you.Like i say,I'm just curious.

If you can get up your router configuration settings, you should find 'Application Sharing' somewhere in there, then, depending on how sofisticated/organsied your ISP is, there should be a drop down list for different servers/programs you can assign to a device, if you have a drop down list, choose 'Xbox Live' and assign it to your 360, this could be the problem.

Here's the solution

Get wires, all my friends who have wireless connections have multiple DNS problems(connecting to games & chats and so on) and also get disconnected alot, I never have problems with wires.
