Eldave0
ok, this game comes out in the UK this coming week (long wait i know!) anyway, ive recently completed perfect dark zero, graw and tomb raider, then borrowed far cry off a mate and played that for a couple of weeks (that games naff in my opinion apart from the online btw) and now im looking to buy something else. ive heard very average reviews of this game but im never sure what to make of "professional" reviews as some of the games they hate turn out to be some of my favourites. i love wrestling games, especially the smackdown series from day one. so this is a question for those of you with the game, does it play like the smackdown titles at all? if it does, ill probably get this because i never seem to get tired of playing those games so as long as it feels right then ill probs pick this up. btw, no there are no shops locally that rent games out at the mo so i cant opt for the "suck it and see" technique. cheers

I think it's a pretty good game, but it takes a while to complete

Maka
My opinion is this game sucks because one of the achievements is glitched.. and i feel soory for the 3 people that spent tons of hours to find out they don't appear... OnyxStorm
If the achievement is glitched, how do people have 1000 for this game? Onyx
KilluhKam
its not glitched to get all costumes achievement you have to get all costumes with 10 of the created characters (some ppl say all 30 but the guy that has 1000 says only 10)

Nionel
Actually, harder achievements actually make me feel like I've earned them after I've unlocked them. Maybe that's just me, but games like NBA 2k6 where you can unlock all the achievements in less than 30 minutes just seem insulting, I mean an achievements is something you have to put effort into to earn, not something that's handed to you
mietha CAG
It's more or less a simplified version of the older smackdown system with fewer, but some more brutal, moves. Personally, I love it. I was just playing it a few minutes ago. Almost 60 hours played and no where near bored yet. Keep in mind though that I prefer the older smackdowns to the newer ones, so I am biased in that direction. But still, NO reviewer that I have seen has given it a fair review. It's by no means perfect, and confusing as hell as to what you are supposed to be doing until you look it up online, (but now that everything is known, that is not a really big deal) but the core gameplay itself is great. So, basically, if you can look past the extremely ill-advised set up and just enjoy the gameplay, you should be pleased. I would say the SD it's closest to is Shut Your Mouth, if I am remembering them correctly.
