unmatchedskills
The time trials can prove to be a bit difficult if you don't know a few things: - During a KERS turn try to fill up the battery to full red before exiting the zone. - Use speed boosts to cut corners that you would otherwise be unable to, such as dirt patches/roads. - You must absolutely make use of boost jumps. When hitting a ramp, release the accelerator while in mid-air and press it again just before you land. You will receive a small boost if done correctly. - Jump boost can be used in any situation in where you are not touching the ground, such as dropping from small ledges. - Use almost every shortcut available to you in any given map. Some of them will require you to use a speed boost power-up. Example: The dirt road detour in Abu Dhabi found right after the roller coaster sequence. - Don't always go out of your way to pick up a speed boost. At times the shortest line will out pace the small detour to pick one up. Don't misunderstand however, if a power-up is next to the racing line, don't pass it up. Just be aware that you do not need to pick up every single one to get gold. - Don't use pit lane routes, I've yet to fine any worth your time. - Don't use shortcuts that would net you a KEY in a normal race. Damo99
Using the pitlane in Belgium is quicker. I also wait until the second lap before trying a quick time. That way you can start the lap with a boost while keeping the one that you get automatically Here's my lap of Britain
unmatchedskills
^^ Yeah, these are not anywhere near the best. I just rushed through them on PC to have them recorded and uploaded ASAP. The good thing about this is that it shows that you can make a few mistakes and still get away with it. Not a very hard achievement at all considering it's worth 100g, 175g if you add Silver and Bronze. The hardest and most time consuming part was figuring out the fastest racing line. Fun game overall. Very frustrating career though. I have yet to find a consistent way to get first place. Too many random variables, nothing beats getting spammed by global power-ups near the end of your final lap.
