Have you tried deleting your profile and then recovering it?

According to Xbox.com everything is up and running right now, no issues.

Not sure what to tell you. That's always fixed it for me.

That error code is due to an incorrect E-mail address or password.
Try following this link (http://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing-and-subscriptions/windows-live-id/error-email-password-not-valid). It should help solve any issues you are having.

Xbox 360 password reset and email address issues

Microsoft account password problems and other errors associated with your Xbox LIVE account

This article describes what to do if you get an error message when you try to do one of these things:

Sign in on your console or at Xbox.com
Change the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE account
Create an Xbox LIVE account
These are the error messages you might get:

"The e-mail address or password you entered is not valid. Please try again."
"This profile cannot be downloaded right now. Status Code 80151103"
"This profile cannot be downloaded right now. Status Code 8015D000"
"This profile cannot be downloaded right now. Status Code 8015d02e"
Typically, this problem occurs if you entered the wrong Microsoft account (email address or password), or if there is an issue with your Microsoft account.
Note “Microsoft account” is the new name for what used to be called “Windows Live ID.” It’s the email address and password you use to sign in to Microsoft services (including Xbox LIVE). Your Xbox console may still refer to your Microsoft account as your “Windows Live ID.” Keep in mind that these two terms mean the same thing. Your Xbox LIVE sign-in information has not changed. Find out more (http://support.xbox.com/billing-and-subscriptions/account-management/microsoft-account-windows-live-id).
Important: Xbox Support cannot reset Microsoft account passwords. For help, see Reset your Microsoft account Password (https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx).

There's 5 solutions for this error.

1.) https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx
2.) http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/support?SignedIn=1
3.) http://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing-and-subscriptions/account-management/manage-microsoft-account
4.) Check your Microsoft account on Xbox.com - To make sure that the Microsoft account you are using is the right one, try signing in to Xbox.com by using the same Microsoft account that you are trying to use on your console. If there’s a problem with that Microsoft account, you are prompted to correct it.
5.) For a child’s account, use the child's Microsoft account - If the Xbox LIVE account is a child's account, make sure that you enter your child's Microsoft account. You must use the Microsoft account that was used to create the account.

All information comes straight from Xbox.com support.

Microsoft are now asking for extra security information so I would suggest creating a second E-mail address if you haven't done this already. This is used as a backup in case of any number of issues occur with the address you signed up with. You also have the option to set multiple "recovery questions".

When I got my new xbox a couple of weeks ago I was presented with this little error when trying to sign in to Live. I simply turned off my console and waited a little bit. While waiting, I went onto the xbox.com site to see if there was anything wrong with Live, and from what I saw everything was running smoothly. I turned on my xbox a little later and I was able to sign into Live as if nothing happened.
