That's what screwed up your achievement.

A friend and I played through all of hard co-op, including all the songs that unlock after the final "tier'd" song. He got the lead guitar achievement, I got nothing.

It gives you an option before the song.

they should at least have a way for you to see which instrument youve played on each song :-\

The co op achievements only unlock for the 1p account, even if you have 2 seperate gamertags playing lead and rhythm. So you'll have to bring your hard drive over and beat it on that...sucks, I know.

I am also having a problem with this achievement. We played through the co-op career, the bonus songs and the download songs from the CD and still didnt get either of the achievements. We made of an effort of picking the same instrument each time we started a song. I dont know what gives with this achievement.

You just have to make sure you are paying close attention to detail to who is who. Wife an I busted it out no prob on her band 7734. Just have to make sure you either start a new band or have never done any songs co-op on the difficulty setting that you've chosen.

I never did co-op before, and when I did we beat all 44 songs in two days, in which I was lead in all 44 of those songs garantied, idk Ill re-play all songs again and if I dont get it I'll start a new band.

Do you have to play all 44 songs on co-op? or just the defaults?

All 44 songs must be played. You were playing on co-op career right? And you selected 1p? The left side.

Thats wierd, not sure if ya have to use the same controller throughout the whole thing. I know we used the xplorer as p1 for both achieves an had the les paul setup as p2. Did ya mean back-up in all 44 songs btw?

Stupid question, as I have not played co-op before. What happens if one person fails, like the back up fails, does the whole song fail? I assume yes.

i dont have anyone else to play so this is an impossible achievment for me...

You both share the same Rock Meter so if one person is doing terrible and one does good, your Rock Meter will still go down.

I had the les paul as player 1 the whole time and my friend the xplorer.
Yeah I guess I have to play all 44 as lead and all 44 again as back-up

Also does it matter if player 1 is on another difficulty then player 2?
