I make my graphics with Picasa2 and I know i'm not a graphics-making machine but its the best I can do.. (I was in metalcoremodz at the time I made these..)

yes, but that's what Picasa does - it gives effects to the pic

There pretty alright, but it would be better if it wasn't so blurry.

Exactly, so they don't have to be all grainy like that. Grain only works on very few things, making it grainy doesn't make it an awesome sig.

Try one without at all the grainy blurry stuff and see how it comes out.

Yeah exactly that would make all your sigs look alot nicer.

You are basically cropping a picture, making it grainy/blurry, and then writing your name on it in plain white text. Picasa seems limited, you should get a hold of PhotoShop, and come tutorials, and you'll be on your way!
