YoungFate
Not sure if this is the right forum seeing how I'm still quite new around these parts...But here we go... I own a Xbox 360 Elite it came with a HDMI cable and I have a 720p HDTV, Now when I connect the HDMI to my TV and turn my XBox on, I get nothing. I have gone through every input on my Boob Tube. But i am not able to get a picture from the HDMI cable.... Please help me YoungFate
Bax x360a
I know HDMI is used to view the picture in 1080p, but im not sure whether or not it is only 1080p it is used for. I'd recommend just using the standard 360 leads until you buy a TV which allows 1080p. EDIT - By the way, should probably go in the Tech forum aswell but you're new so i'm sure you'll be let of by the lovely mods
YoungFate
But I have heard that HDMI works with ANY kind of High Definition At least thats what I'm told by dozens of gamers
Shinobi273
Only connect to the tv using HDMI, don't use any other AV cables. Check what input the HDMI is on your TV, set it accordingly. This link has info you can use.
DFILL450
But I have heard that HDMI works with ANY kind of High Definition At least thats what I'm told by dozens of gamers Yeah HDMI works with any picture resolution so 720p should work. It could be as simple as the cable not being in enough or something. Make sure your on the right channel too, like HDMI 1 or HDMI 2. Make sure your not on component.
