Bleace
Is there a certain thing to do when your xbox 360 keeps constantly freezing everytime you turn it on? Your help would be appreciated!
Deyankees1
Make sure everything is connected correctly and if there is a disc in the tray causin it because my old NFS:MW used to freeze my 360 so check that aswell.
Bleace
Thank you but, it happens when i put in Halo 3, Gears of War, and Guitar Hero 3. If it is a xbox live problem what could i do to try and fix it?
NG DumbassDude
Connect everything up on your xbox 360 again, make sure its connected correctily. Then maybe just shift the hard drive around, works for me.

Skillet
It could be a great... many... things. Anything from a cache problem if you recently updated any of the above games or if the disks are scratched, it could be that. Or like others have said, you might just have to disconnect and reseat all of the cables and other peripherals like the HDD or memory cards. You could try clearing the cache. That solves quite a few problems. Or, your 360 could be dying but I highly doubt that. It is a possibility, however. I'm not the doomsdayer type though. You could always try unplugging everything and smashing the console against the wall. This is known to have some... negative effects. EDIT: This thread has instructions on clearing your cache. http://xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=44110
Bleace
Could it be beacuse, my brother has downloaded the msn thing on my 360?
Siege Is Like
wait for the rrod to kick in, because system lag was the first sign of most systems dying.
p4in redefined
Could it be beacuse, my brother has downloaded the msn thing on my 360? i doubt it as MSN is built in to make the 360 better not worse, it might just be a hardware problem, if its just freezing on those games and LIVE it could be your 360 has just lost its edge and cant process the information fast enough. i can lend you a hammer and chisel if you want and start tapping away on that 360 gravestone my friend. xBoricua Killax
When my first 360 started doing that i just went and traded it in now that they don't sell the warranty's anymore you kinda can't do that... Yeah I had the same problem... but it would freeze right when I start it up...

KingGotenW
my xbox is constantly freezing on me too. always pick the part of the game where i have to collect stuff, and i dont save my game... when it freezes turn it off wait 5 and turn it back on. as for preventing freezing- make sure cords are connected properly and check to make sure your cd and 360 arent dusty. the dust can SERIOUSLY mess up your 360. ThirdeYe
Your system is probably dying. Do you ever get any "dirty disc" errors? I used to get them along with freezing all the time on my first Xbox 360, had to send it back and get a replacement. The second one did the same thing, sent it back, and the third system's a charm. LethalRope
I think i've got the same sorta thing, when ever i play Rainbow six it will ocassionaly freeze and i have to start the xbox back up. This has only happened on this game so i think its just disk scratches or something as i remember my xbox chainsawing Rainbow a while back.
