Kumubou
I don't know why you would be playing this game. Maybe you like the idea of girls beating the crap out of each other (all-female fighting games seem to be very popular in Japan right now, but there aren't any of those on the X360). Or maybe you're just that bored (no small feat, considering how many other, better games you could be playing). So I was browsing some Japanese sites for some h-doujinshi (so you can probably guess where I fall http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/699/iconv9kz.gif) and I found this trick to automating the game and to make money in your spare time. So you still have to spend the time, but it doesn't have to be your time. Insert a controller with turbo functionality. The Japanese page I found this on suggested the Hori EX Pad Turbo ([ame=http://www.amazon.com/Hori-Controller-Turbo-Xbox-360/dp/B000HS0Y6K/ref=sr_1_41?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1198837210&sr=1-41]Amazon.com says it's out of production[/ame], but you can find it on ebay. A very good controller, as long as you don't have to use anything analog on it). Turn off controller vibration in the options menu. Set Y to Dash and A to Killer Move (leave X as Strike). This is required because on the Hori controller; you can't set turbo functions on the triggers and bumpers. Select the Street Fight stage from the main menu. Activiate turbo on the X, Y, and A buttons: set X and Y to 13hz (slow) and A to 26hz (fast). Leave B off. Tape down the X, Y, and A buttons (I use electrical tape; whatever works for you). Go read some doujinshi. ... Profit! This will also help you get the games required to unlock outfits, unlock characters, win titles, whatever. MajinFro
I just bought both the game and the controller through Amazon.com and will be trying this out. I will update people with a 2nd opinion afterwards. *edit* I can confirm that it works but not quite well with the button turbo settings above. I had to keep changing them. You want your Lethal Move on the fastest setting and dash on the lowest. I think it is still possible to lose so if you don't want to lose a belt then don't fight with your champion. jammytea
I got a Hori stick to try this trick, and had moderate success on my first attempt. What game settings were you guys using? I was on one minute games, hard setting, for the highest payouts, and only won 1 in 3 games, 53 out of 156. I'll have to try "normal" and "easy", I think. I mapped dash to Y, killer move to A, and strike to X, taped them all down, and set only A to 26Hz. X I set to 13Hz, but I found that a lot of the time, with dash set to 13Hz, my character would be running round the ring constantly, away from the other character, so I left the game running without turbo on that button. Because it was taped down, she would open each game running towards the character and then strike, but not then run around constantly. I'm not sure if this might have had something to do with my meagre success rate, cos it might open her up to attacks if she's not running away!? I'm doing this to try to raise money for my lambdas. Did you find any particular fighting style more successful than the others? EDIT FOR ANYONE THINKING OF IT: okay, this worked well last night, even on Hard. I earned about 250000 for one of my lambdas by leaving it going for 4 hours or so, winning 130 games and losing only 20. The lambda was set as Shooter 1, lucha libre style, heel (to gain popularity in street fight!). The problem before (on Power 4) was that the killer move did virtually no damage. I'm sure other styles work too but will have to experiment. I had 13hz on strike (set to X), 26hz on killer move (set to A), and no turbo on dash (set to Y), but all three taped down.
