They will be sold separately sometime this year. You probably could've found your answer by searching in the Rock Band game forum. ;)

There is supposed to be wireless guitars, mics, and drumsets coming out this year, like Dom said. They'll probably be around $60 - 70 though...guessing.

Madcatz also picked up a license from the rock band guys to make their own versions of the instruments in the wired/wireless variety.

I bought a Madcatz product for my Gamecube a while back. It makes shitty products.

Ya, their products aren't very good, I only bough a madcatz controller back when I played conker live and reloaded on the xbox, because there was a trick to run faster if you had the controller:)

think wireless instruments will be worth it?

MadCatz does suck, but back with the original xbox, their controller size fit my hand size best. I have pianist fingers, and am very self conscious about it.
I digress, I bought the game alone, so it's basically guitar hero with karaoke and better co-op. But I already have enough crap in my living room, the drums would take up too much space, and wireless is rarely worth it.

Madcatz controllers with the side grips for the original xbox felt so much more natural then official controllers. even after wearing the rubber off the left analog stick it felt better.

Last I heard, the standalone accessories are due out in February, and I kind of hope they weren't pushed back. I needs me a drum kit.

*suggests move to the ROCK BAND forum..*

Also I've heard it's a first week march release... there's alot of buzz over at the Rock Band Forum.

But then again on the same page it says they may release the standalone game first, don't believe everything you read. :)

or u can use the guitar hero 3 guitar for rb from what i've heard - the only difference is you would not get the lower fretboard buttons on the rb controller, but it functions exactly the same.
