Which games have you found to be very underrated by mags/sites that you personally really enjoyed? This can be for any console! I personally really enjoy the sonic adventure games on the dreamcast but everyone has mixed views on those.

Bulletwitch I loved this game to bits yet it got really slaged off yet I could'nt get enough of it.

For the 360 I'd say Kane & Lynch: Dead Men.

I've not played it much, but I'd say I'm quite a way through it on the hardest difficulty, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it all the way upto the way I am.

What I really like about it though, is the strange relationship between Kane & Lynch. Some of the speech sequences are great. :p

I can't really say there's games for other consoles I've enjoyed that were under-rated. Perhaps Zone of Enders was under-rated, but I can't truthfully remember.

Shadowrun!!!!!!!!

I can understand why Shadowrun got bad reviews, considering all the cool capabilities and history of the Shadowrun world to reduce it to a strictly PVP game like they did was major butchery. Though I'll still pick it up anyways when it hits $9.99 used at Gamestop (I'll buy any 360 game from them at that price ) :D

One I think is underrated is World Championship Poker All In, yeah the graphics get funky sometimes and some people complain about the dialogue even though they ARE using poker terminology and not just spouting random stuff but it's still pretty fun.

Call of Juarez, maybe I'm a little biased since I did the wanted poster guide that's in the forums (though the poster never mentions the fact that he just copied it from one of the sites I put it on) but it's a fun game, there are hardly any western style fps games out there and this one had some good scenery plus you got to shoot hats off people's heads. That right there made it more realistic than a lot of other fps games where the hats seem to have actually grown out of people's heads.

Superman Returns, yes finding all 100 kittens was a pain and the races are a MAJOR pain (just 1 away from practically finishing all 1000 points) but it was still an enjoyable game.

Looking forward to picking up Eragon once it hits $9.99 too.

Also Jericho, forgot about that one.

table tennis for the 360 i liked, i think that got average review scores.

Yes I'm gonna say it 5O Cent: Bulletproof lol, don't get me wrong I hated the camera, the lack of a lock on feature and dumb missions, but the story, voice acting, music and super gory kills hooked me, now this game deserves a 6.1 nothing higher but nothing less like a one or worst game of the year, also Shadowrun deserved a 7.9 in my opinion not a 6.5 or a one.

Very true, that game was at least a 9.5 by their scales. Destructible cover and conversation mechanics, what more could you ask for?
I also liked the Warriors, it got 7.5s and 8s, but was a lot of fun.
CoD 3 was about the same on single player but much more advanced in multiplayer.
Kane and Lynch deserves a 7, it's a good rental.

Crackdown was a great underated game w/o a doubt. I got it to play the beta, but man, i never would of thought that crackdown was that good of a game! Great rpg game, just missing somethings with it. Better storyline would of given the critics a better rating towards it.

You can't vote Mass Effect. It has the 9th highest average score on Metacritic out of all 360 games. It has a 91 average. :p

Anyways, a game I really enjoyed that received a low score.. I actually have a couple:

- Amped 3
- Call of Juarez

- TMNT

2nd place: Shadowrun

Arc the Lad collection, arc the lad 1+2 is just epic, I've read a lot of mediocre reviews on it.
Phantom Brave was excellent, despite it getting average ratings compared to Disgaea.

assassin's creed, kane and lynch, Harry Potter, and acording to 360 gamer magazine the following games:

Saints row: 6
Call of Duty 3: 6
Condemed: 6
Lego Star wars original trilogy: 7

now the above list goes on like this for sometime and it keeps growing, but in the entire publication of this magazine they have only awarded 2 10/10s, so right now your thinking along the lines of Halo 3, Gears of War, Orange Box, CoD4, Bioshock, etc etc if you though the first two you where....

wrong, bioshock is the only one out of the list to get 10, fair enough, the second was Guitar Hero 2, never played it myself, but i would think based on people's rants (in a good way) about the massive improvements between guitar hero 2 and 3, maybe 3 shoud be a 10 instaed of a 9, but thats me, some games however did get good reviews, CoD4 got 9, as did OB, LSW CS, Mass effect, and skate, but this list ise just painful too look at, and the worst part about this magazine is that when i open the first review, im reading more about Drakes fortune then i am about GTA 4, how they madfe a connection that people who bought a 360 magazinewant to read PS3 reviews ill never know...

but yeah ive played some average games i thought where good, bloody 360 gamer

Condemned Criminal Origins was great. Also, (a bit old, and for the PS2 before I converted to an XBOX) Blade II rated fairly poorly. I think a 4.5/10 and I really enjoyed that game, particularly the fighting mechanics. It was one of the first games to allow you to attack in any direction by simply pressing the right analog stick in that direction. It made for some pretty sweet fighting, in my opinion.

Blade 2 was rated poorly because not only was it a movie tie in, but a movie tie in to a really bad movie. I loved the first blade, it is, in my opinion the greatest vampire movie ever. But Blade 2 was so generic.
Condemned was given 8s I thought, which it deserved. It was one of the better launch titles.

Kane and Lynch, no question. It was a good game (and im sure many people think so) but because of all the flak it caused gamespot (and transfered over to the world wide web) people everywhere bashed it. Even on gamespot it was getting player reviews of 1.0 because of the guy getting fired over it.

Amped 3

It didn't receive scores like 3/10 or anything, but it got 7s which I think was a little low. I loved the game. I played it nonstop until I beat the story, then I played more after that just snowboarding, sledding, and snowmobiling around. I didn't go for the 1000 though because I played it way before I even knew what gamerscore was. I thought it was a great game with high replay value. I'd give it about a 9/10.

Two Worlds is fun other than Major Laggy Online, Shadowrun is one of my fav Xbox 360 games, Call of Juarez has Amazing online, Assassin's Creed kinda disappointing (i imagined much better), Overlord is a challenging puzzle!

I'd have to agree with TMNT, it was a pretty easy game. That just allowed me to have some quick fun with thinking two much. Its worthy of renting to beat quickly.

Assassin's Creed is definitely better than the rating it got. If it wasn't for the fact it is relatively short single player game I think it would have received much higher.

Hmmm I can't really think of any other games I've played that may of been considered a sleeper.

I really enjoyed Assassin's Creed. You could say it got decent reviews, but many people didn't like it. I don't even think that it got repetitive.

Have to add Kingdom Under Fire COF to the list due to the reviews that's been getting.

I really think Prey is highly underrated. I love that game, the story is genius but most people seem to hate it.

Also, Just Cause. Sucks in some ways but fun to play, massive environment, fun stunts, stunning graphics from aerial view.

Full Auto is an awesome game, Lots hate it but it blows Twisted Metal away. There's nothing I dislike about this game.

SCDA. Some people hate the idea of the story, which is weird. I love the SC series and the only thing I don't like about SCDA is that they didn't include co-op campaign in the next-gen versions.

DiRT. I don't know why more people don't play this game. This is the funnest racing game I have ever played. My favs are Forza and GT but DiRT is just absolutely stunning in every way possible. A must-have racing game!

Splinter Cell and DiRT have crappy/average reviews? DiRT has an 83/100 average on Metacritic. SCDA had 85/100 average on Metacritic. Neither of those are average or crappy. Once you go over 80, you're in the "pretty darn good" games category.

I absolutely love Dynasty Warriors: Gundam.

I didn't mean average/crappy reviews by a magazine or website or anything like that, not for those 2 games. It just seems like the majority of the people I meet on Live seem to hate the SCDA storyline or that hardly anyone at all even bothers to get DiRT.

Btw, yeah I forgot CoD3 (Spades12321), people say that game is gay but I don't think so. Sure it doesn't have the classic feeling of CoD2, but it's still a really good game. Hate trying to get the stupid online rank achievements though.

And yeah Kane & Lynch (YAZ Comix37) is good. Retarded that they didn't include online co-op though, retarded.

And also I think Enchanted Arms (I Nex Aliquem I) isn't really all that bad of a game yeah. It's not horrible but there are two things I hate: the fact that they put a friggin' gay guy as one of the main characters, and that the game gets pretty hard sometimes. Probably not for RPG fantatics but definately gets hard.

I'm not sure whether Kane and Lynch deserves a higher rating than it got to be honest. I personally enjoyed the game, but so much more could have been done with it; better graphics, cover system that actually works, online co-op etc... A 6 or 7 is a pretty fair rating for that game.

The most underrated 360 game imo is shadowrun, as for other consoles, I really liked enclave for the xbox which got bad reviews, and i'm not sure on the reviews for the first 2 paper mario games, but I loved them as well and it didn't seem like they got much credit.

Shadowrun. Shit reviews but such a fun game... SO FUN, I recomend if you like FPS you should buy it

TMNT - Not bad at all, my friends laughed when i said ninja turtles wasnt that bad. I recommend everyone who hasnt to rent it for gamerscore and fun.

You get to double-fist unlimited ammo pistols at all times, which should be mandatory in games like these (at least 1). It did have 1 really frustrating aspect, the tanks. If you've played the game, you know what I mean. Otherwise, I had a ton of fun running, flying, and driving around the jungle and blowing #@*& up. Good, good times.

Hmm, I quite liked Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, sure, some frustrating parts I couldn't figure out, but it was rather good in the end.

Superman Returns, other than it being repetitive in monster battles, or putting out a fire on a burning building, I still found it rather enjoyable.

Crackdown too, although, not sure about the reviews on that one if they were good or not, regardless, I liked that game.

There are others too which I can't think of at the moment.

One that I really like would be NFL Tour.
I'm usually a fan of "Street-Sport" games. I loved NFL Street 2 for Xbox and I tried the NFL Tour demo and it was very fun also. I checked and it had a 53 rating. :( I actually think this game wasn't very well made but deserves at least a 70.

Two Worlds: I was honestly interested in this one since I played it at a gaming show, but the busted achievements kept me from getting it. Of course, now that the patch has hit, I gotta say that this is a good game. The item synthesis makes my inner completionist happy.

Bullet Witch: Low-rated, but definitely good for mindless fun. The only thing that keeps me from buying this game is that it has yet to drop to the bargain price-point it should've been sold at in the first place.
