View Full Version : Achievement Guide

Feel My Rage

*Note 1: All units dish out more damage when they have more health, keep that in mind.

Finish Training.

This achievement is acctually quite simple. When the game starts up, go to the Single Player menu, and select Training, once you have done this a mission will start up.The mission consists of lots of skippable text, presented to you by Raven, moving soldiers to some yellow circle, destroying one enemy Light Infantry and one enemy Scout, and last but not least, capturing a capitol in the northeastern most part of the map.

Finish one online match.

The requirements for this are to simply play one match over Xbox Live. For this, once the game has started, select Multiplayer, then Xbox Live. It is not specific, so I would assume this is possible in a Private Match, and it is deffinatly obtainable in a PLayer Match, as that is where i got mine.Any type of XBL match, and you should be set. However, I would suggest trying to win, as some of my friends have not been able to aquire their achievement while playing with me.

Collect every Secret Token.

Okay, Secret Tokens arn't really all that secret, They are just tucked away in the part of the maps where you normally wouldn't go.I.E. Away from objectives, past the final objective, a side path, ECT. They look like shiney sea-shells(to me anyways) that rotate in the air.In the first mission, when you are heading towards the nearby base you must reclaim, Raven will point one out to you, so you should learn to recognize this symbol. As far as my knowledge goes, There is at least one on every campaign level, sometimes two or more.

Locations for all Secret Tokens can be found here (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=59020).Happy Hunting.

http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k147/FeelMyRage-01/x360a3-1.jpgTank Commander--10http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k147/FeelMyRage-01/gamerscore.jpg
Own 10 Heavy Tanks at the same time.

Okay, this may seem dificult, but it is not. This achievement can be done in ANY game mode.I personally got it while i was screwing around durring a BattleMap fight, but it can be achieved during the Campaign(Advanced or Standard), a HotSeat match(2-4 player match on the same console), Xbox Live, or a BattleMap.The easiest thing to do is to play a Hotseat match with it being you vs yourself on any map(take out the AI and set the match rules to "Capture Capitol"), now, from here, procede to capture all oil wells so you can get the money you need and take any and all factories on the map. Now, heavy tanks are near the bottom of the list of vehicals you can build, inbetween Ligh Tanks and Light Artillary; they also cost $3000 to build.Just keep cranking them out over the turns.Once you have 10 heavy tanks on the maps at once, end the match. The achievement should pop during, or after, the results.

Complete the Standard Campaign.

A pretty standard achievement. You must simply beat the First of two campaigns. This campign consists of a of a total of 15 missions and a variety of Defend, Destroy, and Capture the Objective-esq missions. As you progress through the campaign new commanders are unlocked for your use and some will even disappear at certain points throughout the game. The secret tokens are scattered throught this campaign and the Advanced Campaign.Mission and their specific details shall be added in a later post.

*--See note 1

Complete the Advanced Campaign.

This achievement is basically the same as the Standard Campaign.....except it should be a bit,or noticably, harder for some, depending on your play style. It is,according to my friend, the same campaign all over again. So, resort to whatever play style you used before or, to be on the safe side if you are an offensive person, play more defensivly.

*--See note 1

Finish all BattleMaps.

BattleMaps can be found under the Single Player menu, then by clicking Battle. There are ten BattleMaps in total; one occuring on each of the multiplayer maps. Each BattleMap pits you against computer opponents, the number varying based on the number of players on each map. The objectives are always the same and are quite simple: Destroy All Enemy Units. Just so you all know, the AI are NOT allies. They are at each others' throats more often then they are at yours.Use this to your advantage in 3 and 4 player maps. When you reach mission 5, SuperUnits will also become available throughout the rest of the BattleMaps....and the AI are EXTREMLY fond of saving up for these beasts in the begining of a match. You best bet is to buy Heavy Artillary and Heavy Tanks....or wait to buy your own SuperUnit.9 times out of 10....you get to build it first. So, use it Defensivly, a SuperUnit is no good if it turns into a $10000 pile of garbage. The maps played and the enemies faced are constant, so they will be added in a later post with the Campaign Missions and Objectives

*--See note 1

Destroy 1000 Enemy Units.

If you are fond of this game, this achievement will be no problem. This is 1000 kills TOTAL. So, all kills from any multiplayer, both Campaigns and the BattleMaps will be counted for this achievement. If you want to get it an easy way, just play a Hotseat match with Capture Capitol as the objective and just pick Striker Kaden at your CO, wheel out some SuperUnits and some Heavy Artillary, and use the second player to crank out Scouts and Light Infantry.Just blow all the units to hell and, if you want to wait long enough, keep it up.It should be possible in one match as long as you just keep killing everything the second player makes.Thats about two per turn, which would equal about 500 turns unless you play the Three player desert map in the shape of a triange and let the second play take the two capitols and all four vehical factories. Then you're getting about 6 kills per round which will shorten the delay even further.Either way, this method would take a while, so set the turn limit to the maximum ammount allowed and just keep firing.

Win 50 Missions.

This may seem as tedious as "Destroyer", but it really is not.If you do the Standard Campaign and the BattleMaps, thats 25 mission victories right there. Then you can simply continue with the Advanced Campaign or keep winning in the standard Campaign while you are working on "Perfectionist".I am unsure if online victories are counted in this as well since they are technically "missions".Either way, this shouldn't take you as long as "Destroyer", but even if it does, you should definatly get this on your way to getting "Perfectionist" unless you 5-star every catagory in the standard campaign on your first try. So you don't even have to worry about this achievement. You'll get this as long as you're persistant.

Win any Campaign mission without casualties.

For those who do not know what Casualties are, they're deaths. It really means don't let a SINGLE soldier die during one mission. Its not all that hard really, on the first mission of the Standard Campaign, load your Light Infantry into your Troop Carrier and move your Commander Unit up along with your Scout. Your only opponents in this level are Four Light Infantry units.Just use your CU and Scout to mop up the infantry and continue along. If one of the two gets badly injured, find one of the secret tokens on the map.Raven points one out to in the begining after you kill the first or second soldier, the second one is to the right(if you keep your camera view the exact same) of the base that the enemy has captured. These,in my experience, usually contain Health.Once you have destroyed all the enemy soldiers, roll your Troop Transport in and drop on of the infantry on the Factory capture point and end your turn.If you wern't overly ambitious and kept your soldiers off the road for extra cover, then after the mission is finished then Viola.Achievement unlocked.

Get 5 stars in every category on all Standard Campaign missions.

Okay, this is EASILY the most time consuming achievement in this game. Getting five stars in all catagories consists of getting five stars in the Speed, Power, and Tactics divisions of the score. You gain five stars in Speed by beating maps in under a certain ammount of turns. In later, harder missions, the bar is raised to give you more time in order to accomplish this task. Getting five stars in Power consists of destroying enemy soldiers. The more damage you do, the better a score you get, simple as that. If you are through in rooting out and killing enemy units, Five star power should be accomplished on every mission easily. Now, Tactics, that is the hardest catagory of all.On missions where you can build units, you get a higher score by losing less units and using the terrain to your advantage. On missions such as 1 and 3, where you have a certain number of units to win the entire level, you Tactics score is based on the ammount of damage you take over all.Due to this, it is my preference to take Alec Falcon, your first CO available, into the battles where you cannot train troops.Later, after mission 4, it might be a better idea to take Lariena Creed into the fray, as her abilities heal your units over time and her active power makes them temperarily invulnerable.

Also, it is also of note that you do not have to ace the missions on your first play through. So, if you fail to perfect a mission on your first try, fear not.As odd as it sounds, once you max a raiting in a certain catagory for a level, you never have to max it again.By that I mean, say you got 5/4/2 raitings.Next time, just be cautions and wipe out everything that you can, because even if your second score is 1/5/5, congrats. You just perfected the level. Also, at mission four, artillary becomes available.USE THESE TO YOUR ADVANTAGE.There is nothing that can fire back upon an artillary piece, so make the best of them, and keep them defended.Another thing to note is Aircraft.Once these become availabe, abuse them as well, but make sure to keep them clear of AntiAir units.Rely on those power houses,Artillary and Aircraft, and you should be set for Tactics and Power as long as you're careful.

Get the Good Ending in the Advanced Campaign.

Okay, this one is pretty simple to be honest now that I know how it is aquired. All you have to do to get the "good ending" in the Advanced Campaign is beat the final mission (Mission 15) with a 5* speed rating.

Bravely Bold--5http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k147/FeelMyRage-01/gamerscore.jpg
Finish one online match.

It is just as it says, I played one ranked match and lost, but still received the achivment.

Weird, I played and lost an online match but I didn't get the achievement :(

Finish one online match.

I got this on the first match I played. Default settings (50 rounds @ 2 minutes each), and the host shut it down at about round 40 (so it apparently doesn't matter if the other player(s) bail early). I won the match and got the achievement.

Get 5 stars in every category on all Standard Campaign missions.

You should point out that you don't need to get five stars in all three categories in one go.

A perfect Tactics rating is no problem on most stages, if you've got the patience. As long as you creep along and draw enemies toward you piecemeal, it's simple, though time-consuming. Always use your commander abilities when attacking to prevent damage from counterattacks. Hostiles can't return fire against artillery, so once you can start building those, load up on 'em and abuse it. If you're having trouble, save at the start of your turn when the enemy is near, and load if you get screwed by a glancing shot or whatnot. Also, if you couldn't avoid taking some hits early on, you can usually camp an enemy factory later on for some easy kills to improve your damage dealt:received ratio.

Weird, I played and lost an online match but I didn't get the achievement :(

Same here. I have played a private, player, and ranked match and have not received "Bravely Bold" either. I have tried hosting, joining, winning, and losing. A friend of mine is also having a problem with this achievement as well.

Feel My Rage

See fellas?Thats why I am not 100% sure about the Bravely Bold achievement.I got it on my first game(won in 15 turns with the whole map under my control, hehe) but my friends(who i played several games with) never got the achievement, even after one of them beat me.So my thought is that it is glitched and you must play someone without the achievement.

And Smellfinger, two things:
1. Welcome to the site, and thank you for the contribution to this guide.

2. How could I have forgotten the artillary abuse?i love to do that....oh well, thank you for reminding me.

02-18-2008, 01:05 PM
Also, take your time, lure the enemies into traps to preserve your Tactocs raiting. But you do not want to be too cautious, or your Speed raiting shall suffer accordingly.

You can just replay the level though, focusing only on speed. You don't have to get 3 x 5 stars in one play of a single mission. That's what I meant earlier. I worded it poorly.

For example, say you get 5/3/1 stars in a mission. Then you replay it and get 2/5/5. When you check your completed missions in the stage select screen, it'll show 5/5/5.

And thank god for that. If they expected me to do some of those later stages perfectly in one shot, I'd have to insist they reimbursed me for a flatscreen and all the controllers that would no doubt come to an unfortunate end.

Feel My Rage
02-18-2008, 03:01 PM
Seriously? It works like that Smillfinger? You're positive about it?I don't want to put it up in the guide if that isn't right....

Ted de Braak
02-18-2008, 04:17 PM
It works exactly like Smellfinger says. So best thing you can do is first time be patient, go for 5 power/5 tactic and the secret tokens. And the second time for 5 speed.

I have also problems with the online achievement: I have lost/won/player/ranked - doesn`t matter, still no achievement. :(

I finished the standard campaign about an hour ago and no achievement  but the online one unlocked straight away on a three player ranked match and i was first to go.

Feel My Rage
02-18-2008, 06:22 PM
Thank you for confirming that Ted.

And sorry to hear about your troubles. As i stated above, I am not sure if the achievment is glitched or a certain condition must be fulfilled.Sorry I can't be of any use to you

Really tattooed? That's interesting.....I'm not sure what to tell you though

02-18-2008, 08:09 PM
it might be that you must play a match with someone who does not have the achievement.

I got it against someone who already did. He got it the day before me.

02-18-2008, 10:55 PM
This seems like it needs a very in depth guide. Feel My Rage you should put in the locations of all the Secret tokens. Also tips or strategies on hard missions would help.

Really?Well, thank you for informing me, I'll take that bit out of the guide now.

This seems like it needs a very in depth guide. Feel My Rage you should put in the locations of all the Secret tokens. Also tips or strategies on hard missions would help.

I know, I plan to do that as soon as possible, but at the moment I am on mission 11 of the standard campaign, havn't found too much time to play the game.

If you wan't to, you can give me locations of some of the secret tokens and I'll put them in.The only mission I havn't found a token for is mission 6 ot 7 I believe, where you have your first survival mission.I screwed up on that mission and was unable to get a chance to explore for any tokens

02-19-2008, 06:24 AM
Dammit, I didnt get the Bravely Bold ach. I played three player matches, first two I hosted, on the first the opponent didnt have it, he dropped out after 12 or so turns, didnt get it. Second game, i won under the "destroy commander" setting in 7 turns, other guy had it, didnt get it. 3rd time, joined a 3 player game, other 2 guys didnt have it, one left, the other guy beat me, still no dice.

Im thinking that maybe you have to play it on the default settings when you go to host the match. Maybe that has something to do with it... (50 turn limit, max 2 mins, map default fog, destroy all units victory condition). There are some games where achievemnts only unlock if you use the default sliders, like NHL 2k8, so maybe thats it here....

Maybe its ranked only but then if people say they got it in player match, thats prly not it.

Oh yes and for map 6, the token is just northwest of the enemy base. Im making a list of the tokens, ill post it when i get thru the campaign. I wonder if they are in just normal campaign or also in the advanced one too...

If anyone wants to play online and try the get the bravely bold, feel free to add me on live, i might be on in the evenings this week.

Feel My Rage, it's probably level 7 where you don't have a token. I've think i've searched everywhere on the level and i still haven't found one.

Feel My Rage
02-19-2008, 08:17 PM
Zero, I'm sorry to here your problems, but thats not it, I got my Bravely Bold achieve on a level I hosted after altering some of the settings, so I can't tell you if thats right or not. Also, if you make a list of the tokens, that would be great Zero. And I think they are in both campaigns, but seeing as they're almost exactly the same, i would imagine that they are about in the exact same spots.

And Ank 1, is that the level where you go through the portal? If so, yeah, thats the one.I havn't had a chance to explore it, so i couldn't tell you if your right or not.just to the south and a bit to the east

I to cannot get the bravely bold achievement,
I was playing a ranked match w/ a friend and I let him win, he got it but not me

Then we tryed again and again, probably changed about 10 different things and tryed using the default settings, and still nothing.

I think you have to play and win against someone who doesn't have the achievement, if that's the case then someone is always going to be dissapointed and that would always leave one person without

Zero, if you want to try and get it send me a invite in the evening any time this week after 1800

If anyone else wants to try and get it PM me, like I said I am on after 6 every night.

Guys, please don't use the guide as an achievement trading thread, lol

But the problem with your theory now Paleo(I thought the same thing) is that it has been proven wrong by one of our wonderful site's many members.I think the achievement is buggy right now is all

02-21-2008, 06:29 AM
Ok i deleted the game (but not the saves) off my HD then redownloaded, played 2 games, 1 ranked and 1 player, both losses, still no ach. At the gamefaqs board http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/gentopic.php?board=941958
someone says they couldnt get it at first but eventually after sever matches they did get it. Paleo, you may be on to something there, having to win against someone who doesnt have it... I added you, we can give it a try...

As for the token list, ill post it as soon as im done campaign, ive got lots to go and havent played much campaign over the last few days...

Paleo Looshe

I know, I know, we're supposed to use a different thread for achievement trading, I apologize.

You may be right FMR, the achievements may just be bugged, I see other people saying that they didn't get the achievements for beating the campaigns either, so I guess the best thing is to hope for a patch to fix them.

I know that some of the other members said they got it by playing someone with the achievement, however I'm still going to give it a go with zero tonight hopefully and we'll see if one of us can get it.

Feel My Rage
02-21-2008, 04:54 PM
All right, tell me the if you guys get the achievement or not.If niether of you gets it, bugged for sure.I'm pretty sure the campaign is bugged too if people havn't been able to get the achievements for them

02-21-2008, 06:17 PM
I just beat Standard Campaign and got the Officer achievement the second I captured the last building on the last map. So far, I've had none of the problems others have been reporting. No idea what to tell y'all besides good luck.

Tip for the guide: A unit deals damage proportional to its health. In other words, the more damaged a unit is, the less damage it causes. This is probably obvious, but I didn't realize it until I was on mission 14.

Feel My Rage
02-22-2008, 04:24 AM
Ah...maybe I should put that up Smell.....that was already known to me before I even did the tutorial just because I played so much advanced wars,hehe....

Okay, I'll add that tip in first chance I get tomorrow

Alright, this morning I am reporting that myself and ZeroToxin both failed in obtaining the "Bravely Bold" achievement last night we tryed using the default settings, quitting, letting each other win, ranked match, different maps, etc.

I think it's VERY safe to say that the game has glitched achievements, and I am sympathetic to anyone else who was as unlucky as myself, however the game is great and still worth the points IMO.

Smellfinger....................................I envy you. I really do. I think we should call you "Good Luck Finger........that smells"

Congrats.I now have my first quote for my sig,lol

For real though, I emathize(spelling?) with all those that have glitched achievements as well.It acctually took like, 2-3 days for my Tank Commander and Survivor achieves to unlock....after i fulfilled the conditions multiple times. Then they juts poped one afternoon when I decided to try and five star a campaign mission.Went into the single player window and there was a popping sound with "2 for 15g"(i think was it)

Well Feel My Rage, may I just say I'm flattered.

Interesting though, I wondered if I just kept trying to get Bravely Bold if it would eventually pop-up. Now that you say you didn't get the tank commader until several tries later, I may try a couple more times.

Thanks, sincerely,

Haha, i thougth it was pretty funny.i've found very few "sig worthy" quotes.and most were just mildly entertaining.I got a good laugh off of your comment though

However, it wasn't exaclty me trying to get tank commander a ton.I did try Survivor multiple times, then got frustrated and stopped for the night. The next morning when I signed into the game and went into the SP menu, both achieves popped at once.try siging out and signing back in, then going to both SP and MP options and see if something pops.If not, then I'm afraid I have no alternative options for you guys

02-25-2008, 06:22 PM
I bought the game last night and so did my friend, he started a default room and invited me. It was just him and I... we played for about 45 minutes and I won. We both got "Bravely Bold".

I went to the first Battle map and got the "Tank Commander" right when I made/bought my 10th tank.

I also went back and did the Tutorial again and got "Scholar".

I then played the 1st campaign and got "Survivor".

Thanks for the contribution anyways JonHu

Sorry guys if I sounded "matter of fact" in my post. I was just giving you guys a run down of what I did when I got mine.

But feel better, I finished the Standard Campaign and didn't get my achievement. I have given up on this game.... I am not going to risk putting all this time into the game, and not get my achievements.

Hey, I was thinking of getting this game and just thought i'd give it a quick read through. Well done on the guide Feel My Rage, it's very good, good work!

I just submitted a post here (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showpost.php?p=732788&postcount=4) that has a quote and link from the xbox live forums where the developers of the game are asking for feedback to try to figure out exactly why the final achievement isn't working. I would post your feedback there so they can get this thing fixed.

Good luck
