View Full Version : Regional Coding/Release question

I know it doesn't launch in Japan until 7/27/2006 (if there aren't anymore delays) but has anyone heard if Bullet Witch will be region coded? or if it will be coming to America?

It looks like a fun game to me (as long as I can figure out what to do since I can't read Japanese). Lots of shooting, killing, explosions in 3rd person

Your a witch with a broom looking gun. (a bit cheesy)
Year 2013AD
Demons rise up
Human race almost destroyed
You run around the world killing demons.

Official Site of the game:

I would ask AQ but site is in Japanese and I can't find a program that will translate a secure (contact us) page, and even if I could IDK if the people at AQ would respond (since the message would be in English)

Reminds me of the 'Evil Dead' series of games, but more serious.
If you have an original XBOX I suggest at least renting one (Not BC on the 360)

Why are games even region coded at all?
No region coding = More customers = More $$$

Someone please reply to a similar post I made in the Condemmed section

idk much about region coding, but maybe game developers in japan don't want to translate games into other languages or vice versa. l

ya, but I'd be willing to spend a few minutes searching through the menues in Japanese in order to play a fun game.

Alot of japanese games have a bit of english in them. (I have a few Japanese DBZ and Megaman games for old PSX)
